Really positive experience, no complaints at all.
Originally applied for a job within Pareto in which I was allocated an assessment day and was told I was successful. A phone call later that day from a lady named Hannah who said I would be invited to the office for a day to see what a graduate manager actually did. Zero communication from then on from Hannah. Another person rang and said that they had changed their mind and decided to send me on more assessment days and interviews with their “clients”. Pestered from then on our by different people asking me to interview for companies that were not what I was looking for or the location. One even had the cheek to tell me Middlesbrough and Newcastle were next door to each other. I’m not quite sure how they can offer a job one minute and then snatch it away hours later. They also email begging all clients that are successful to write reviews for them.
Going through Pareto really does make a difference. The process all happened pretty quickly which I was grateful for. My graduate manager was Abigail F who was SOOOO helpful. She gave me so much feedback after my initial assessment and also called me to help me prep for my virtual assessment day which I did really well ALL THANKS TO HER! The assessment day did feel really long BUT I then went on to get booked in with over 5 interviews in the space of a week which all met the criteria of my ideal job. You do really feel supported throughtout your journey with Pareto and I have recommended some of my friends too.
My overall experience with Pareto has been really good. Abigail Fantin was especially helpful in my preparation for the assessment day, which I passed. The assessment day was a really good experience, however there was a bit of waiting at the end.
I found the assessment day very engaging and it was fun, I almost forgot it was an assessment throughout the day! The preparation calls I had with Abigail Fantin were very beneficial and I felt they gave me additional confidence in my answers.
I spoke to my talent agent Carolyn and was invited to an assessment day. She helped me prepare for some questions and everything beforehand which was all good. The assessment day was online thankfully and we were told multiples of times that regardless of whether we succeed or not, we will each be given feedback by the end of the day before the Teams call ended. Also promised more in-depth feedback by the end of the week. I got nothing of that sort, the talent manager and a bunch of other people who I had spoken to from the company ghosted me. I've sent multiples of emails and LinkedIn messages to absolutely no avail. And this isn't me being salty about not succeeding the interview but rather just how fake it all seemed anyway yet I gave it so much of my time preparing and what not to only be empty promised some kind of feedback. Instead we were put in a breakout room, told we were unsuccessful and basically kicked out without any explanation. Very unprofessional experience overall.
I had a great experience with Pareto. My initial call with Tom Rushworth was great and he informed me of my suitability to a role in sales. Already looking for a role in sales I was delighted. Tom prepared me for my assessment day very well, and gave me good feedback on what to consider. My assessment day was really good fun and collaborative. Within an hour of finishing the assessment day, the interest began. The following week, my interviews began. The interviews were also great fun, as it’s an opportunity to better understand a company and meet a member of your potential team. Within the same week that my interviews started, I secured my grad job!! My talent success agent Toby, understood me well and was able to match me to a company that is great and that had a role perfect for me.
If i could give a minus score I would. Passed there assessment day 3 weeks ago. Had a couple of interviews and little to no communication with the agents (who I had to ring ring and ring again to get a reply - provide no useful feedback either…) all they care about is their commission than actual candidates. I gave up all hope of actually finding a job with them before they had the cheek to ask me to do the assessment day again but with a specific company!!! (With the promise of a “job offer” at the end of it (I don’t believe it for one second). Don’t waste your time. The one star reviews are true and the 5 star ones look VERY FAKE. Don’t recruit with them either.
Don’t believe the 5 star reviews, Pareto are known for inflating their ratings with fake reviews. You can see this by the fact that most 5 star reviewers have only completed one single review on their account. Warning aside, as a client, do not trust Pareto. They will take your money in advance and do absolutely nothing unless you are a household name! Same goes for candidates. Don’t waste your time with the assessment day, I promise you, you won’t get anywhere and will be left feeling worse than if you didn’t attend.
Dishonesty from the onset. If you get a telephone interview and pass it, it’s a load of nonsense and a numbers game. They allow everyone through the first interview stage and will congratulate you as if you have achieved something - you haven’t, everyone gets through. Assessment day tasks are alright, however lots of sitting around and waiting. You are given a guide to be “energetic”, show your personality, and they constantly harp on about the importance of dressing professionally however this doesn’t seem to matter if you don’t have the correct skin colour. At the end of the day they will gather all the minority and ethnic groups into one breakout room and tell them they’re useless and not worth recruiting for any job at all regardless of how well they actually did. Whilst other attractive white candidates who have been as quiet as a mouse for the entire process and dressed in a t-shirt will succeed. Racism at its finest. Do not be seduced by their nonsense of passing the telephone interview. AVOID.
Awful business - they took huge fees from me and didnt deliver on what they promised... would never use again
Pareto have been great in providing assistance in helping me to get a new job and the role that suits me best. Especially Tom and Beth who couldn’t of been more helpful with guiding me through the process.
Great experience with Pareto! Fun assessment day, met lots of amazing bright people. Thanks to Levi Scothern-who gave me her time and support- I was well prepared for the assessment. I passed. Thanks again Levi and Pareto.
Pareto were really helpful with aiding me through the assessment day, in particular my graduate manager Levi who was extremely accommodating!
I began my journey with Pareto very apprehensively, mostly due to the ups, and inconsistently drastic downs of their reviews on trust pilot. Can honestly say I saw nothing but good things from Pareto. I admit that the assessment day was rather long, but that is part and parcel of an assessment day and the people who have given Pareto 1 star based on this and the 'novelty' of the challenges throughout the day clearly have either been unsuccessful for a particular reason, or have never actually experienced other assessment days to know that the tasks are common of most assessment centers (some are actually alot longer!) Tobias Ward was professional, friendly and particularly helpful, and the Pareto team seem genuinely focussed on providing their recruits with job opportunities which are a great fit for the individual whilst also meeting their requirements. Just about to finish my first month in employment through Pareto and loving it; they did a great job and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend.
Levi from Pareto has been extremely helpful to me throughout my process of looking for a job. She gave me great help and advice for the assessment day I attended and thanks to her I was successful! Would highly recommend.
At first, they were very polite and helpful. Uber Eats Spain group interviews were awful! Our presentation was supposed to last 3 minutes, which is absolutely ridiculous. Over 20 candidates were screened on Zoom from 1:00 p.m. through 7:00 p.m. that day. It is disrespectful to use people's time that way when they said it would take three hours or less. They lack organization. They also said they would contact people who were not chosen to continue the process to hear their feedback. We haven't yet received an email from them.
They have been really helpful in my selection process. The staff have been very helpful in organising everything including the interview process. Would definitely recommend.
Pareto has been excellent throughout my process of looking for a job. After the assessment day, I had numerous consultants reach out to me trying to match me to the perfect job. Consultants like Tom and Sarah helped me significantly when it came to my preparation for this job giving me very helpful tips that have paid off in the interviews. Would highly recommend.
Pareto was Absolutely amazing. They really assisted me every step of the way in regard to interview tips, pitch tips ect... Most recruitment agencies I've experience normally don't contact you when an Employer rejects you. However Pareto keeps referring and assisting you with many opportunities till you get a YES between you and the employer. The recruiters at Pareto were friendly, persistent, they kept in close contact. Really recommend this agency to anyone who currently not having a great job hunting experience.
