Really smooth experience with the assessment day and all the staff have been very helpful in organising everything including the interview process. Would definitely recommend to other graduates like myself.

The assessment day was organised and efficient and I enjoyed the day! I ended up being successful and getting a role so couldn't be more positive.

Very dynamic team, full off positivity. Only few phone calls, and my confidence was over the roof. Very straight forward coaching. Very grateful to the team, I've got the job within 2 weeks.

Good graduate scheme, really friendly atmosphere, they are looking more at your skills than your CV which is great for a role in sales.

I had a good experience, after reaching out to my recruiter I was offered a range of interviews and after deciding on a few, I was placed into a role that I love within 10-14 days. Becky G gave me fantastic prep and check-ins before the interviews and was very responsive!

I recently secured a new role through Pareto and I cannot fault how they have been. Elysia was brilliant and I was kept informed throughout. I was able to talk through any questions or worries I had and communication is great. If anyone is looking for a new career, Pareto will definitely be able to help you. Their interview process is quick and you find out the same day and gain feedback, so no waiting around for results. Thank you so much Pareto and especially Elysia!

Quick but high effort process with fairly honest feedback at all stages. Not good at communicating internally at all- I had many many similar conversations re: what I was looking for. Recruiters pressure you to take the first job you're offered through them. All that said, I'm very happy in the role that I secured through them and I would recommend to anyone looking for a sales role that can deal with an annoying process.

At first, things started off well, have an assessment day and did well in that, with being congratulated and that another area of the company would be interested in me. So great from that, apart from the assessment day going over its time limit and sitting around a lot. Then, i get passed on to another member of Pareto, without being told, to be suggested a job which was perfect for me, then being told it doesn't exist anymore, and that person then suggested two other jobs which did not suit me at all, I was then put in for an "interview", when I was supposed to talk to someone about my skills and who I am as a person, when I informed said person that I do not think these jobs are for me. to instead being in a call for an actual job interview that I knew NOTHING about, and low and behold, I didn't get the job, and was then told to expect a phonecall from another person with a potential job. Pareto do not understand the urgency of getting a job and completely mess you around too much and get your hopes up for nothing. So, save yourself the stress and pain and avoid using them for getting a job.

Robert was really great in supporting/preparing for the assessment day :D The assessment day was also fantastic in terms of giving feedback on where to improve for interviews etc. Overall a good experience, would recommend :)

Just completed an assessment day with Pareto, great day and a very organised company. Communication is great and always available to answer your calls for any questions, my Graduate manager Tom Rushworth was great, catering for my needs very well and having honest conversations, couldn’t have asked for more.

Overall a very good experience. I was contacted by a Pareto Law recruiter Benedict, who invited me to the assessment day. He was very helpful in preparing me for the assessment day by staying in contact and always being able to reach. Once I passed the assessment day I was contacted by a handful of recruiters placing me in interviews for a number of roles, which was exactly what I wanted. The recruiter who stood out the most was Charlie who like Ben was very persistent, made sure I was ready for all of the interviews, and was easy to reach for any questions I had. I understand this process may not have been great for everyone as I have read the other reviews but my experience was good and it definitely removed some of the stress of applying for jobs. Many thanks to Pareto and especially to Ben and Charlie.

Pareto sell themselves well. They say they are professional, meticulous, whatever else. What they are is elitist, disorganised, and rude. I have been on both sides of pareto - they placed me and the 'assessment day' process is garbage. Mind games and stupid tests that waste the time of individuals who do not have days to take off. The office we were 'assessed' in looked like a horrible workplace. Performance metrics everywhere and managers circling their staff like vultures was visibly evident. Nobody looked like they enjoyed being there. Now my company is trying to hire and we cannot get Pareto to send us a CV. The director we are dealing with is rude and standoffish and refuses to put a little effort in trying to fill a position we paid for over two years ago. I suspect they're too busy trying to mind-game some new recruitment manager into giving them cash, since they already have ours.

I’m writing this review as I just did a 5 hour assessment day with this Pareto law. First of all, all the reviews are true. If you apply for a job with this company you won’t actually be working for the company. You’ll be working for their clients. Also, can I just say that i felt like I completely wasted my time. Seeing that I’m a health care assistants and work nights. I didn’t sleep and spent most of my time preparing for this assessment day. Your also given a graduate manager that will help asses you and give you tips for the assessment day process. Firstly the company only picked the white candidates with posh experiences and businesses. All the other ethnic minorities weren’t picked and we all had good experience. The assessment day was very ridiculous. It started at 9:30 and finished at 13:45. They asked us some competency questions and we did a task where we had to pick a celeb to represent to survive on a boat. (It’s 2022, I don’t understand why a company will interview candidates this way. Is like a childish activity if you ask me) The pitch was also another part of our assessment which only lasted 3mins so I don’t understand why we had to attended a zoom call for 4 hours. Didn’t make sense. In conclusion. If your black and has loads of skills and experience I wouldn’t apply for a job at this company because no matter what, you’ll always get outshined by the other candidates. And if you do apply and didn’t get through don’t let this affect you because you dodged a bullet!

I used Pareto Law to recruit two candidates, we paid them upfront and after 6 months we still haven't been able to receive two candidates, and Pareto are refusing to pay us back our 5 digit sum of money that they charged to 'recruit' for us! Steer well clear, do not believe anything they say, they are a scam.

I went to their 2-part assessment, woke up early while working nights to spend about 5 hours on Zoom, while the only important part of this was the sales pitch which took only 3 minutes. We were told that we would get feedback on the same day. I did the interview a few weeks ago, I have emailed the ''mentor'', hr and other people in the company but all my questions have been ignored. By the way, apart from the 5h assessment, this involved an extra psychometric test, sending documents, pre-interview phonecalls etc. Biggest waste of time and full disrespect.

It wasn't the worst experience ever. Just a massive waste of time. I attended their assesment day (it took 5 hours lol) and I feel like it was just too much work for a job. You need to prepare a sales pitch, fill out some weird psychometric form, etc. I like normal traditional interviews better as they are much less annoying. But like, if it works for them, good. It didn't work for me. But hey, applying for jobs through recruiters in general is actually pretty annoying.

Terrible company. Most of their roles don't even exist- the role I applied for was miraculously filled the next day when I was contacted by a Pareto staff member. I was invited to attend an assessment centre which consisted of staying in a hot, cramped room for 9 hours with 50 other candidates. Most tasks were carried out in the morning and we were left sat waiting around in the afternoon. Most successful candidates tended to be those who spoke over everyone else. After the assessment centre I was offered an interview for a sales position (nothing like I applied for). I never heard the outcome of the interview despite being promised feedback and contacting the pareto recruiter on several occasions. Overall they are a company to steer well clear of. Staff are cocky, unorganised and incredibly pushy. Do not waste your time!

When you apply to a job advertised, it's not for that job. It's simply an advertisement to Pareto luring you to a "2 stage assessment" they hold as they think they pride themselves on only securing the top candidates (something that will emphasise a lot). Both my assessments were successful but you'll find them to be clouded by background noise and no sense of professionalism. On the assessment day they want you to follow a guide that they tell you in being "loud" "full of energy" rather than actually being yourself and understanding your skillset - would not recommend

Completely unprofessional. I was waiting for a planned phone call for hours and then emailed to check they would be available to still ring. Then after a reply saying they could ring for a quick phone call now I was left waiting another hour. Just completely wasted my time. Shocking recruiters and would never work with them!
