Your need more detailed information on your web site on how to use and set things up and how to download it. Great product and great service but hard for my employees to show schools how to use they all want more detail videos we also just used your product in a presentation for schools to use through out their buildings I will be ordering more shortly

This review pertains strictly to the purchase process and subsequent return process for the product purchased, but does NOT address the actual product. The purchase process was simple and efficient. I placed an order via the internet for 11 data loggers and they arrived within 7-10 days. Had I not had issues with the product which in turn led to a prolonged, frustrating return process, the rating would be 5-stars, but alas, this was not the case. Immediately upon receiving and testing the data loggers, the data indicated several of them were inaccurate. At that point, I initiated what I thought would be a simple return process...I was wrong. After speaking with several reps (both customer service and tech. service), I was essentially "too bad" b/c I had "used" the loggers. How would I know they were bad if I didn't use them? Eventually, I was able to come to an agreement with the Tech. Support Manager to send the loggers back so they could perform an internal evaluation. It took over 2-months for the evaluation (after being promised turn-around would be abt 1-week). Finally, they agreed there were issues with several of the units and agreed to issue a full refund. I'm certain I never would have received a refund had I not been overly diligent throughout the process. Ultimately, what initially seemed like a positive experience turned into a negative one. I won't be purchasing from Onset again.

wifi is hard to configure with the CX 5000 gateway. however all the other features of the data loggers work well. I have taken it upon myself to find a solution to the wifi problem with the gateway and when resolved will share the solution with onset.

Excellent customer service and expeditated delivery !!!

We have been working with Onset for a while now, and within the last 18months have started using the Teros 12 sensors, in addition to the PAR sensors, and Environmental monitoring live temp/RH sensors connected to their RX3000 Gateways. While there were some hiccups along the way technically speaking, they were excellent at helping us sort those issues out in a timely fashion and keeping our Live Logging up and running. Nothing but good things to say about the whole team over at Onset, and we will be working with them further as our company continues to grow.

My order arrived on time and in good condition. The only comment I had is why do you ship a really small durable order in a 6" cube box with styrofoam peanuts when a bubble wrap envelope would have been totally adequate?

We installed an Onset HOBO station last February with the standard sensors as well as soil temperature and moisture sensors at a depth of 6". The cellular connection has been very reliable and the data has been consistent. One thing that I would like to see is a better historical record that is accessible on the hobolink website. As far as I can see it can only go back 1 month. The data does vary slightly from an older station that is also present, which does not make an initial difference, but as the growing season progresses we are noticing quite a difference in projected pest models. This season we plan to look into this more.

I believe the equipment is going to work fine. However, everything about InTempConnect (online platform) and the app are very much a step backwards from our previous solution. The platform just isn't built well for our needs to deploy multiple sensors to multiple locations and have multiple people notified of alarms. Tech support struggled to provide a usable solution to our needs. We finally found a way that I think we can make work. I certainly understand why the price point is so much better than the previous solution. Sometimes you pay for what you get.

No clear expected delivery date during check out. Ordered on Jan 11, ship date isn't till Feb 12 didn't find that out till after order was placed.

When I received a grant to buy equipment for my science classroom, I knew exactly what I wanted to get - the amazing, easy to use, indestructible sensors from Onset for monitoring light intensity, temperature, and forces. These sensors allow students to plan their own investigation and collect enough data in a short amount of time to focus on recognizing patterns and analyzing what their data mean rather than taking all period to collect a couple of data points. The free software give students practice reading graphs. With teaching online during COVID, digital tools are an amazing resource to have. The customer service is outstanding - helping with what to order and also helping to navigate purchase orders.
