I work in academia and was helping a researcher prepare for their first fieldwork expedition since the pandemic. Because of the pandemic, and funding, we needed product quickly. I indicated this in an email to Onset alongside an order, to no avail, so I had the researcher give them a call. This was a big success as Onset shipped the items overnight, and the researcher is using them in the field as I write this review and is quite pleased with the quality and ease of use. I will definitely be using Onset going forward!
Extremely disappointed in level of service at Onset/Hobo lately. Longer than usual wait times on the phone...sometimes so long I have to hang up (over 30 mins). Most of the time I don't get an answer back via email for at least a week. I still haven't heard back about a photo sensor that isn't working on one of my weather stations...please send a new one, as this one is under warranty.
It took over two months to get the 10 temp. loggers I ordered. Good thing I didn't need them right away!
Received in a timely manner. Instructions for set up can be better explained. Otherwise very satisfied with the product.

Very poor functionality. We have to contact customer support to make any changes. I would describe the interface for the app and website as 'user hostile'. Would not purchase again.
I only needed one HOBO to replace one that went missing. They were very responsive and helpful and got it delivered rapidly.

We received our order just as we requested. We asked for specific dates for the NIST certification to occur, and they accommodated us with no problems at all. Great service.
Every time I have an issue, technical support, someone with real answers is almost none existent. I opened 3 cases/tickets and never heard back. Found more information by just digging and going through their website. I learned more through troubleshooting/testing the equipment by trial and error.
