Salesman was helpful but not pushy. Let me wander around until I was ready. The chair came in when promised and pickup was a snap. My only comment would be that the color was much darker than the one I viewed in the store. I understand that color will vary from lot to lot, but this seemed quite a stretch. Nonetheless, it's a very nice chair.
Excellent delivery, great customer service, ordering was easy. Love the no-pressure sales staff; pushy salespeople in other stores have pushed me right out their door and to Old Brick. Sad to hear the Troy store is closing.

The salesman was very helpful and friendly. The lining on the bottom of the couch was torn when it was being unpackaged and set-up upon delivery. This was the second livingroom set I have purchased from them, in addition to two bedroom sets and a single chair. This was the first time I experienced any issue.

We shopped thee other furniture stores before trying Old Brick. In each of the other stores, we did not find anything close to what we were looking for. We knew as soon as we walked in to Old Brick, that we would be choosing our furniture that day! Excellent selection, excellent customer service. Great delivery. We are extremely happy with our living room set and are constantly complimented by family and friends.
No communication between departments and customers. Paid extra for delivery and they destroyed my molding around my doors. Have to keep calling them to find out updates. Again no communication between departments. Order was delivered wrong.
I have purchased all of my furniture from The Old Brick for the past 15 years. Their prices are the best, selection is great, and sales reps are helpful and knowledgeable. In my opinion, the best furniture store available.

The delivery staff damaged my door frame trying to jam my couch through the door. I called to speak to a manager and still have not gotten a follow up phone call three weeks later. Don't buy from old brick!!
Sofa had a strong chemical odor, leading to headaches, burning eyes / sinuses / throat, and asthma. Likely a result of excessive flame retardant chemicals and used in foam / fabric,and formaldehyde-treated wood. I let it air out for a week with no sign of improvement, and Old Brick refused to acknowledge the defect after sending a "trained service technician" (read: employee of the store, and obviously a lifetime cigarette smoker) to inspect for a chemical odor. The technician was present in the house for less than 3 minutes, took a light whiff of the sofa, a picture of the tag with his phone and was on his way. Old Brick refused to work with me on their 30% restocking fee + non-refundable $100 delivery fee, leaving me out $350 in total. To be fair, Old Brick did make a generous alternative offer of store credit with a 14 day window for use... 5 days into that window. Fool me once. Additionally, I had selected one of 2 couches in the entire store that would clear my front door frame, and the other couch was double the price. Buyer beware -- if you have pets, children, or just enjoy having cancer-free lungs, do yourself a favor and shop elsewhere for furniture. Old Brick refused to stand behind their customer and their product, and management is clearly comfortable with profiting off the sale of furniture that is undoubtedly hazardous to human health.
I have purchased many pieces of furniture from Old Brick Furniture and the quality is excellent. The sales people are terrific and the furniture is delivered in a timely manner. Every time we go there for one piece of furniture, we see many more pieces we love!
My order was delivered without one of the dressers I purchased. I was sold a box spring for a bed that you cant even put a box spring on because it is too high. I was told I would be refunded and was given attitude by the girl on the phone who claimed nothing was put in the system.
I recently chose a table at the store that was discontinued therefore on clearance (nothing about the table or signage would tell you that). I loved the table so I agreed to take the floor model at a "discounted" price of about $150 off the listed price (about 20% off). I picked up the table but when I put it together at home, a piece was broken and cracked. I did purchase the extended warranty but it was not covered since it was possibly not broken in the home. I purchased this over the phone so I was never given any materials on the warranty plan and had no idea the item was on clearance and could not be returned/exchanged. I signed the second page of the receipt upon pickup, it stated on the first page it was clearance and could not be returned.. my mistake for not reading the first page before signing it. The store agreed after much argument to give me a floor model from a different store but refused to place any packaging material on the table prior to transport to a different store as it was not their policy to package items on "clearance." Needless to say, when I came to exchange the table, it had huge scratches all over the table from transport with ruined its unique look. Luckily, the person who worked in the delivery/warehouse was MORE than helpful in repairing the broken piece so I could keep my original table (all it needed was to have a piece switched). I give him 5 STARS! Sadly, I will not be purchasing anything else from this company again as it was unnecessarily stressful and dealing with management was extremely difficult.
We bought a lot of furniture, and when it was supposed to be delivered 5 weeks later we found out on the delivery day that our couch was on back order and they didn't have an estimated ship date. We would have loved to have that information beforehand seeing as how we were moving into our new place that weekend and had nowhere to sit. Fast forward 3 weeks and we still don't have our couch. Overall disappointed with the lack of communication.
