we only went in to look but after talking to antony who was really helpful and informative we bought several ttems as he was not pushy and just left us to look round on our own and was excellent in sorting out our order if more stores had people like antony we are sure customers would use them

The salesman Burton Richards couldn’t do enough to ensure we ended up with the right furniture for us. He was extremely patient and courteous, as were the other sales people we encountered.
We went to the local store to view a range we wanted for our Living Room. Once there, we didn't like it as much as another range, so we changed. The sales guy was very helpful, but not pushy. The range change, meant that we had to go back home to measure things, to ensure they fitted the space. It did. We ordered online, very easy, communications with the Sales Team, all very helpful, and the delivery guys were very good, nice boys, efficient and chatty. We couldn't ask for more. All in all, we were very pleased with everyone we dealt with throughout the whole process. Thank you OFL.

No problems to report at all. We were kept informed from the time of ordering through to delivery. The delivery men were very friendly and were mindful of the house, doors and walls. This is my second time buying furniture for our house, sales assistant was new to his job (Sam) but he was ok very helpful and explained each sofa we were questioning very well and with honest opinions and was no pushy attitudes towards us during sale . We ended up purchased the sofa cost bit over 3k (Sam) did get a bit stuck during deposit process on his PC which is understandable he was new in this business as a sales representative at Oakland but manager did help him a bit when I was paying my deposit all went ok he was a good lad potential success I can see on this chap hopefully he improves himself for better and be successful sales assistant in his future. Our sofa we purchased was great choice and nice quality material (seems like it lol) got a life time frame warranty which is good to have one and purchased insurance as well for 5 years overall great experience. 😊

Helpful and friendly staff available to help rather than sitting at a desk on a computer ignoring customers. Good range of furniture on site so you can see in person rather than look at photos.

Delivered as agreed with drivers, both drivers were excellent when delivering 4 pieces of furniture, hassle free, furniture received in great condition, Big thanks also to the male ( forgot his name ) at the Merthyr store for all the help
Mo the salesman at Lakeside was very helpful and very patience, he gave us time to walk around the store and be helpful on choosing our products, the delivery men were on time careful and polite and caring with the furniture. they carried all the furniture in and put it together.
I was misinformed in store that a sofa would disassemble and so delivery would be no issue up a tight staircase. Waited 8 weeks for delivery, turned up and wouldn't fit or come apart. Told I would need to wait 17 weeks for a replacement. Got a refund but no compensation for time wasted - now I have to arrange buying sofas whilst moving into my new place, which is exactly what I'd hoped to avoid when I placed the order. Staff were polite but service otherwise poor.

Awful, chalk and cheese springs to mind. Made first purchase on line no problem. Delivery as advertised, fully informed every stage. Second purchase made in store great customer service. Got all the emails for delivery etc as before but then come delivery it fell apart. Delivery expected between 1900-2200. So waiting for call as stated but nothing, then notice a delivery guy knocking neighbours door then pacing up and down. Went out and asked if he was oak furniture land even though it was 1800 and no call. To my suprise he was so told him it may be my delivery. He wasn't having it as his paperwork had another house number on. I told him I'd got my emails and told him what I was expecting. But still no good until a cple of calls later. Took delivery in the end but wow, almost 30 pound for a shambles. Update: After making above review I've been contacted by Oak furniture land and offered a refund of my delivery charge. Advisor was really apologetic. Demonstrating great customer service and aftercare from oak furniture land.
Good piece of furniture, terrible delivery people, one in particular, rude and stroppy and I swear I could smell alcohol when he approached me to sign for delivery. I’d still use oak furniture land again but you should change delivery people and do something about their attitude as it’s very poor.
