I called the store and asked about collecting an item if we ordered online. The gentleman was very polite and helpful and I ordered the item over the phone and it’s being delivered next week. We have many items from you and love the store. The only reason we didn’t use the store is because this was an additional item.
The actual furniture is lovely, good value for money and very nice quality. When we ordered it we were told uou could hold it as long as we wanted, (we had building work to finish and it was going to be a few weeks). As we paid the basic delivery we were only given a date a week away. Three times we had ring to rearrange delivery. The delivery guys were surly any unhelpful. Maybe because they got lost. Basic delivery was just that. The bed was dumped just inside the door and in the way of my elderly clients who struggled to get past it. All in all delivery was not a good experience. Received furniture delivered by Joshua and Andreas late in the evening at the end of a long working day for them. Both were polite, friendly and very careful not to damage our property nor the furniture. We opted for premium delivery which was well worth it. Excellent service, both lads a credit to Oak Furnitureland.
Great service
From the moment I walked into the Stevenage store I was made welcome by Fabian. Not pushy but genuinely helpful. I knew what I was looking for and made the purchase there and then. Fabian explained the whole delivery process and options I had. I was offered different dates for delivery so I could choose which one suited me the most. At the end Fabian thanked me for my business and said he appreciated it. He’s an absolute asset to your company and I will return to buy more things as and when needed. Great range of furniture, keen prices and great looks.
The delivery men were polite , respectful and careful bringing the furniture into the house and to the designated room.
