Purchasing process was easy and shop assistant was very helpful. Delivery was well organised and on time. Only downside was the number of boxes that we needed to dispose of as we were not willing to pay extra to have boxes decanted and boxes removed.

The whole experience was excellent - the new showroom at Silverlink in Newcastle and the service there; the new bed we ordered; but my greatest praise must go to the delivery men. My wife and I are both elderly (late 7os & early 80s) and a friend had offered to come and dismantle the existing bed we were replacing. The delivery men arrived early, having phoned us to warn us but we missed the calls. They immediately set about dismantling the old bed from M&S years ago (similar design to the new one) with help from our friend. This was service above and beyond what was expected and promised and we were extremely grateful and cannot commend them highly enough.

This is the email I sent oak furniture land yesterday... Yes I onky complained 2 years and 3 months after buying it. But I had to constantly screw the screws in till it collapsed after 2 years then I complained. No warranty after 1 YEAR. So of course it's left to me to fix!!!! Hi I would like to make a complaint about a bed I purchased in 2022.. I was supposed to get a different bed from your store in kingsize but as that was taking an extremely long time to arrive I had to accept a different bed that would arrive sooner and only a double.now I've had problems with this bed from the get go. It's been getting looser and looser everytime I move on it. Have had to tighten the screws a numerous amount of times. The screws were never even screwed in straight from the start. The size of the screws used to hold a bed like that together is laughable! Whoever thought I bed like that could be held up by such tiny screws needs their head looked at. There should have been threaded wood insert nuts in the side bed panels for the screws to be able to attach on to something rather than that now they have just ripped the wood to bits with every movement of the bed and the bed frame has just got lower and lower until it collapsed yesterday and hit the floor. Me and my friend tried to put the bed back together and the screws r just screwing round and round because they now have nothing to catch onto. The headboard is at a slant because it was never attached straight. Brackets not on straight, screws fell out all over the floor. bed slats are lifting up because again they aren't catching onto anything. I am so mad about this. The bed wasn't exactly cheap and the price I had to pay for delivery and for dumb and dumber to put the bed tigether for it to end up the way it is now. Not happy. And I would like to talk about some sort of compensation so that I can at least buy the threaded wood bolts to maybe try and salvage the bed that should of lasted a hellll of a lot longer than what it has. I've attached pictures for proof. And I have ALOT more of you would like me to send them all. Only letting me attach 4 Hope to hear soon. Thank you!..... Not one person willing to help. Not even reimbursed for payment of the guys who put the bed up for me to buy new screws n stuff. Joke. Plenty of pics to share if anyone is interested in the state the bed ended up in!!
