I was told to set up an alert, the tiles I needed were not in stock. Two days later I received an email to say they were now in stock, so I ordered. The delivery time moved from a few days to 7 to 14 days or so. I believe, they were not in stock at all, this was a way to ensure the customer did not order from another supplier. This meant the pallets were delivered just before I was going away on holiday. The delivery driver was great, very helpful. Also I did not have the chance to 'unpack' the pallets until I returned home from my trip, once I started to unpack I found 2 broken tiles. The first one had a sharp mark on the cardboard with the impact, so hard it broke the tile behind. I phoned Nustone, the staff were apologetic but since their terms and conditions state all damage must be reported within 3 days there was nothing they could do.. Someone knew they had hit this pallet and sent it out anyway, 20mm tiles are fairly robust so the impact must have been significant to damage two tiles.. I am disappointed that they don't take any responsibility after three days.

I ordered Nustone's Rainbow Indian sandstone flags and they are absolutely gorgeous. I found their customer service to be excellent and I was kept well informed throughout.

Avoid NuStone—and if you do order, Protect Your Consumer Rights! ⚠️ Warning to all consumers: Always mark your delivery as DAMAGED, regardless of appearance, when accepting goods from NuStone. If you don’t, expect serious difficulties with returns and refunds. Thankfully I did mark my substandard items as damaged but despite this the whole return and refund process was laborious. Also ensure you check EVERY item sent within their timescale of 72-hrs, as my belief (supported by my experience and from reading many other reviews, some of which disappear all to quickly) is that in some cases they are knowingly supplying substandard goods and do not expect customers to follow their processes such that they end up having to keep the goods. In our case because I explicitly followed their processes I was able to secure a full refund, however not after spending significant time in the resolution process and encountering poor customer service in the process. Please be aware that NuStone operates against Consumer Rights by dismissing legitimate claims for faulty goods and in my case, refusing to honour reasonable compensation for the excessive time and additional costs incurred due to their false claim that replacement goods would be checked and would be satisfactory; they were not, so we had to return them again. After a lengthy dispute (given my order was placed 2-Aug), which remains unresolved, I’ve found their handling of my case to be evasive and unprofessional; I even escalated my concerns to the Managing Director who was dismissive and didn’t even take the time to understand my complaint properly before replying. In summary - make sure you know your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and pursue them vigorously to protect yourself from this company. Please also be aware of potential data breaches as highlighted by a previous reviewer. NuStone may well offer some great products, but I beleive a reputable company is only as good as how they deal with things when they go wrong, and they have not dealt with my case well at all. I fully expect some sort of response from NuStone highlighting how wonderful they have been, how they have given me a paltry £100 gesture of goodwill, and how they have followed all their processes... this is all irrelevant if their processes are contrary to Consumer Rights. UPDATE as at 4-Oct-24 - despite requesting details from NuStone on how to request a SAR on 11-Sep-24 I have had no response from them on this. Having telephoned the ICO they cannot find any record of them being registered with them, which is of concern to me. UPDATE as at 11-Oct-24 - Interestingly it seems my review has been read, as NuStone has now finally fulfilled its important obligation and registered with the ICO (on the 4-Oct-24!). They still have not replied to my complaint email dated 11-Sep-24, so I have chased once again.

Telephone sale was very good. Delivery in 3 days and driver very helpful. No slabs damaged which was a worry with not seeing the purchase in advance.

Really sceptical about ordering such a big thing as porcelain tiles online but needn't have worried because the process was easy and although a slight hiccup in the delivery everything worked out fine.
