NexGenT (DBA NGT Academy) was founded by two Air Force veterans who have trained thousands of engineers for the military. They have combined the military-style training philosophy of job readiness with decades of network engineering and cyber security experience working at Cisco Systems, Arista Networks, and Dimension Data into an immersive program to get people into cyber security or networking careers faster and more effectively than ever! NGT Academy is on a mission to help 1 million people get tech jobs by 2030. There will be 3 million unfilled cyber security jobs in the market by 2021. We want to close that skills gap by providing people an affordable education that gets them job-ready for a career in cyber security. NGT Academy believes that students shouldn’t be left with outrageous debt from degrees that don’t teach the required skills to succeed in the workplace. We believe in having a strong foundation in network architecture before students go into our cyber security training. This program beats traditional college hands down! You actually learn stuff you can use immediately and it's presented in a way that you can easily grasp. I've been looking for a program like this for YEARS!

For being a veteran I like things straight to the point, it wasn't hard to figure out anything if you keep up with your notes.
This school is pretty solid! The training, mentors and course material is easy to follow IMO.
The ability to access the material at any time is great because you can make it work around your life. The instructors/mentors in the videos, specifically Jacob Hess, make it extremely easy to understand the material. The best part is, you can just go over any of the sections if they weren't clear the first time. Lastly, the ability to reach out to instructors and other students really makes you feel connected and there is always someone willing to help. Everyone is knowledgeable and definitely know what they're doing. They want you to succeed and they'll make sure you do.
Technology is a great tool for changing the lives of people. a good profession that will help me support my family and my community.
It was wonderful to have Robin Stoehr as the Student Success Manager. She was motivating to me. Not only did Robin call me to see how I was doing, but she also questioned me about the class topic. In addition, Brittney was a tremendous help; she encouraged me and helped me with the labs whenever I needed it.
The information is presented in a complete and concise manner.
the labs are so help full and interactive and really helped me to learn the material where i was lacking for me typing out a deffinition dosent help me learn

Very easy to understand the material
NGT Academy is a quality program with videos and exercises that can help someone who is entering Information Technology or a veteran who is trying to do more than what they have been doing. The curriculum is self-paced. This requires more of the student than faculty. That said, support is present when needed. To be clear, this can be a double-edged sword to some as the need for guided instruction might be more useful. For the more focused and organized, I believe you can be really successful using NGT Academy. They cover everything thoroughly and teach career services that will last long after you complete a program with them. If I have any real criticism, it would be the lack of industry recognized certification being excluded from the programs. I'm sure it would increase the price but I think it's worth it for assisting getting placed in the job market.
Just finished my FSNA. Whew, that was a lot to digest, but if you follow along on the zoom calls, take notes, and review modules, it starts to make sense. It's even better when you practice labs on packet tracer. The self-paced course makes it easy to catch up when time allows, and gives you the ability to take breaks when 'life' happens. Can't wait to start the next steps of the program.
The great help and resources provided by NGT Academy has been amazing. They are truly knowledgeable in their field and have kept motivated as well as this course truly enjoyable and wonderful. I would recommend everyone to join NGT Academy experience.
I enjoyed my experience so far at NGT because they are very big on hands on labs.I prefer to be taught in practical ways rather than only theory!
