NexGenT (DBA NGT Academy) was founded by two Air Force veterans who have trained thousands of engineers for the military. They have combined the military-style training philosophy of job readiness with decades of network engineering and cyber security experience working at Cisco Systems, Arista Networks, and Dimension Data into an immersive program to get people into cyber security or networking careers faster and more effectively than ever! NGT Academy is on a mission to help 1 million people get tech jobs by 2030. There will be 3 million unfilled cyber security jobs in the market by 2021. We want to close that skills gap by providing people an affordable education that gets them job-ready for a career in cyber security. NGT Academy believes that students shouldn’t be left with outrageous debt from degrees that don’t teach the required skills to succeed in the workplace. What made this experience great were the instructors and the mentors. They help me set my goals, they check in on me when I am off track and help me get back on track. They are so helpful with educating me about the industry but also preparing us for certification testing and interviewing. They want me to be as prepared as possible and I couldn't as for someone better to be in my corner.

Since this is a learn at your own pace learning, you have the opportunity to go over the material as many times as you need so you can get a full understanding of the material. Also if that doesn't help and you still have questions you have a full community of other students, councilors, and mentors that will help you out. I have reached out numerous times and have always gotten the information/answer that I was looking for.
I have never been moved and satisfied with a battery of talented engineers and a support team that shows more interest than learners. Sincerely I appreciate from the bottom of my heart the selfless efforts both tutors and support staff of NGT put in tirelessly, to accompany us in acquiring the required skills that can propel us to the next level. I learned 1000 ways that do not work." - Thomas Edison NGT Acadamy is a very good platform for anyone who is willing to pick themselves up and learn by following the self paced online video presentations. The same instructors in the videos also conduct on-line labs and are available for 1:1 discussion on DM daily. Make no mistake about it, you will learn if you follow the steps and have faith in yourself that you can succeed. I had to go back and review some of the courses more than one time. However, I am learning a new set of skills daily and the terminology becomes easier as I progress forward. I love the flexibility NGT Academy grants me by letting me have access to the video library at a time of my choosing. They are very easy to work with and the lessons start out basic and grow very comprehensive and thorough. I think I have to work harder than some of the youger students (55 Years Old) but I'm putting in the hours, following the videos, googling things I am curious about , and performing the labs. Harder? Zero to Engineer is 100% accurate. i started off with very little to no experience in networking what so ever, and through this course i have gained information that can take me to so many different levels. NGT Academy has the best tools readily available when you complete a course and/or milestone to help you on your journey, wither you are just trying to gain more knowledge or to learn something to make a career change. Literally from zero experience to having now the base knowledge of acquiring new skills. I learn things like troubleshoot, BGP, TCP/UDP, IP, Mac address, EIGRP, etc. They are the root fundamental skills as a network technician. Everything from the start of clicking on the website, to phone calls with advisors has been amazing. I had so many questions and hypotheticals, and Cameron exuded so much patience and compassion for me. Once I found NGT, all of the other accelerated learning platforms just DID NOT measure up. The teaching methods and the approach are so guided and detailed. The live lessons every week are engaging and fun, and Jacob makes everything easy to comprehend by comparisons and even some cute jokes! There is so much support for each student, and tons of reference materials and sites, as well as a great collection of lifestyle and inspirational books recommended by Terry (most I have already read :) Any questions I have on the content can be posted or directly messaged to instructors and peers. There are peer groups for all the locations, and you can find people nearby to start in person study groups if you'd like. Robin is my student advisor, she is a gem with a highly positive and encouraging personality and she answers me quickly when I have issues. There is a whole community of real people here who want you to succeed and will be there for you every step of the way. There is no more room to make excuses, this is the opportunity of a lifetime to take back your life and freedom, and LEVEL UP!!!
This program is amazing. I have noticed my confidence has skyrocketed when it comes to networking and troubleshooting networks. I am actually learning and understanding and that is everything to me right now. I couldn’t recommend NexGenT enough!

In less than a year and with the help of NGT Academy professors and courses I trained to become a cybersecurity specialist. I switched careers from public policy and political advisor to Cyber Security Consultant. It has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. I now hold a cyber security position in one of Mexico's top financial institutions.
