NexGenT (DBA NGT Academy) was founded by two Air Force veterans who have trained thousands of engineers for the military. They have combined the military-style training philosophy of job readiness with decades of network engineering and cyber security experience working at Cisco Systems, Arista Networks, and Dimension Data into an immersive program to get people into cyber security or networking careers faster and more effectively than ever! NGT Academy is on a mission to help 1 million people get tech jobs by 2030. There will be 3 million unfilled cyber security jobs in the market by 2021. We want to close that skills gap by providing people an affordable education that gets them job-ready for a career in cyber security. NGT Academy believes that students shouldn’t be left with outrageous debt from degrees that don’t teach the required skills to succeed in the workplace. We believe we have the best program to equip anyone to be cyber security specialists in the fastest way possible. We believe in having a strong foundation in network architecture before students go into our cyber security training. Once the student masters the fundamentals in networking, they are better prepared to step into our cyber security training program along with real-world projects.
I am still in the beginning stages of this journey, just starting officially 1 day ago. My review is to say that I am impress with NGT. From the quality and style of their platform to my first session with intake, Garrett, has been very helpful, patience and attentive to making me understand the entire process thus fur. The training is broken down into easy to follow and understand lessons, with supporting resources and assistance from staff if needed. I love it, and cannot wait to start my new career in the Cybersecurity field!
I have been behind in my studies but the material is very helpful in the learning process and I am very focused on starting the CyberSecurity portion of the program and feel great about the opportunity to have a great career.

A year ago, I enrolled at NGT Academy, and a month later, I posted a review about their customer service and classes. I recently achieved my CCNA certification and my training has been quite rewarding. I have and will recommend NGT anytime to anyone looking for a great learning experience.
My experience was insightful and without pressure
The learning material was very simplified and streamlined. I'm able to break down my lessons and be very hand on using the labs that covers the topics I just did. The instructor lets me know exactly what I need to know and what I don't, valuing my time and how I learn.
I can not say enough good things about the NGT Academy team. From the instructors to career services to student support, I always felt valued when I had questions or concerns. I began this journey not even knowing what RAM or a MAC address was and now I have earned the CCNA and Sec+ certifications! My confidence in my ability to perform these tasks is high and has already been proven in the field. As a veteran, I can vouch for the claim that, like military training, this team can take you from zero to job ready if you just trust them and follow the game plan. Thank you NGT Academy! How they manage to pack so much retainable info into some of these lessons in incredible. The instructors are amazing, and the intra group connections with other students as well as the mentorship comms is so great!
You can get a lot out of this course but you need to stay consistent and take a lot of notes or you won't be able to remember all the acronyms. It's very content dense.

Starting with NGT I came from a background of no IT experience. They explained everything to me in a way that I understood the information helping me every part of the way. Everyone there goes out of their way to help and I thank them for that.
