NexGenT (DBA NGT Academy) was founded by two Air Force veterans who have trained thousands of engineers for the military. They have combined the military-style training philosophy of job readiness with decades of network engineering and cyber security experience working at Cisco Systems, Arista Networks, and Dimension Data into an immersive program to get people into cyber security or networking careers faster and more effectively than ever! NGT Academy is on a mission to help 1 million people get tech jobs by 2030. There will be 3 million unfilled cyber security jobs in the market by 2021. We want to close that skills gap by providing people an affordable education that gets them job-ready for a career in cyber security. NGT Academy believes that students shouldn’t be left with outrageous debt from degrees that don’t teach the required skills to succeed in the workplace. We believe we have the best program to equip anyone to be cyber security specialists in the fastest way possible. We believe in having a strong foundation in network architecture before students go into our cyber security training. Once the student masters the fundamentals in networking, they are better prepared to step into our cyber security training program along with real-world projects.
Jacob has each lessons wrap up properly with the review at the start and the end. He makes the lesson simple and straight forward. There are homework and labs to practice, everything is just about try it again until you make it. He also pull up the ton of resources for me, this is really thoughtful of him. All in all, great course!

FSNA was to me like a Bonus from NGT. I actually enrolled for cybersecurity. However, I really enjoyed my time learning Networking for the very first time with NGT Academy. The instructors were great and personable. They were always ready to answer every question that would arise. I mostly enjoyed the real world hands-on training via multiple Labs
Jacob Hess is the most AWESOME instructor I know. He knows his stuff and is very great at presenting. The course content is great for beginners and for those who wish to strengthen their IT networking foundation as they pursue expert-level certifications.
NGT Academy has been a great experience since day one and I am continuing to enjoy it. Who would have ever thought that getting a degree would have been fun or enjoyable when making a life change to commit to. This program is not for wimps! It is a very robust training course that will change your life if you're up to it! All of the relevant information you need to be a successful Network Engineer is presented in a straightforward format with all the answers you need and, if you want, Jacob or other instructors are available for tutoring, or direct messaging, there is a community

The NGT Academy training has proven valuable to me in various ways, initially not fully grasped until I began resolving issues.
