NexGenT (DBA NGT Academy) was founded by two Air Force veterans who have trained thousands of engineers for the military. They have combined the military-style training philosophy of job readiness with decades of network engineering and cyber security experience working at Cisco Systems, Arista Networks, and Dimension Data into an immersive program to get people into cyber security or networking careers faster and more effectively than ever! NGT Academy is on a mission to help 1 million people get tech jobs by 2030. There will be 3 million unfilled cyber security jobs in the market by 2021. We want to close that skills gap by providing people an affordable education that gets them job-ready for a career in cyber security. NGT Academy believes that students shouldn’t be left with outrageous debt from degrees that don’t teach the required skills to succeed in the workplace. We believe we have the best program to equip anyone to be cyber security specialists in the fastest way possible. We believe in having a strong foundation in network architecture before students go into our cyber security training. Once the student masters the fundamentals in networking, they are better prepared to step into our cyber security training program along with real-world projects.

The environment that is provided gives students a realistic view of the equipment interfaces. That allows them to complete realistic practices. The instructors are helpful and quick to respond.
I really enjoyed the labs and all of the informative lessons that helped me learn so much in the world of IT.
I appreciated the extreme understanding the instructor, Jacob Hess, had about the material and how well he was able to explain it. I also appreciated how different representative/mentor/teacher types reached out to check on my progress and were completely encouraging!

Its a very informative straightforward teaching format. I love being able to work at MY pace yet not alone, also the fact i am pushed/encouraged when i make myself open to it.

I am fairly new to the program but everything that I have experienced so far has been great. The entire team has done a great job of taking someone with no virtually no experience in the field and gave me an environment to start learning and retaining things well. The program curriculum is put together in a way that a beginner like myself can thrive and there is additional assistance whenever you need it if you get stuck.

I'm thrilled to have started this online cyber security course! The self-paced format is incredibly convenient, and the weekly Zoom study groups are a fantastic addition. What truly impresses me, however, is the sense of community and support within the organization. I was nervous at first because of the over all price and the time commitment. knowing myself, if it wasn't like that then I wouldn't have taken it seriously. I loved the emphasis on practice and now I feel very confident in my skills and a solid understanding of networking.

I have tried multiple times to get training and certifications in the IT world. This is the first place that worked with me. Training is in modules, and in the order that seemed to make the learning easy. I am VERY happy with the training, support and experience.

This is an awesome place to learning and grow in IT, the people are supportive and helpful. The courses are all hands on learning basis with video, audio, labs, exams, and written homework to test your knowledge.
I really enjoy the virtual learning courses, if you miss a piece of the lesson, you can always go back and start over.
Lots of great information and the final tests left me with a lot of confidence in my understandings to networking.
The teacher should of explain the course better and gave the student advice on how to understand and complete the modules better. it would help the student to understand the modules and spend less time trying to figure out how to because of lack of help.
