NexGenT (DBA NGT Academy) was founded by two Air Force veterans who have trained thousands of engineers for the military. They have combined the military-style training philosophy of job readiness with decades of network engineering and cyber security experience working at Cisco Systems, Arista Networks, and Dimension Data into an immersive program to get people into cyber security or networking careers faster and more effectively than ever! This was a great exercise and tool! Being on both sides of the interview gave insights beyound a one way interview.
I had a lot of questions and Keith was very responsive, courteous and able to address my questions as needed.
The peer interview provided self-reflective feedback as to how the questions were proposed and how I chose to answer. It made realize where I needed to be more concise or detailed and where I could build more rapport with the interviewer.
A good overall resource. Excellent practice. It was a very good way to work out what aspects of an interview need improving upon. I would say that the technical questions were a little awkward from the point of view of the interviewer. Not having the questions a little more in advance caught me a little flat footed as the interviewer.
The peer interview was helpful since it was our first practice interview and it helped bring out areas where we need to focus more on for the interview. I struggled explaining the technical terms, and I did provide this information to Chrystel as well to see if we could get some assistance with helping answer technical questions in interviews.
This morning I completed the mock interview practice with my assigned partner, Angelo. He was a great sport and I appreciate NGT assigning him as a partner to me! This type of practice was very helpful and I applaud NGT for implementing this type of preparation for the IT field, especially since I had never done an interview for an IT-related job before! I had fun with it and I would like to thank Chrystel and NGT for arranging this! Thank you!!
NGT Academy has changed my life for the better. I use to have a job I hated but I joined NGT and found a job I love. They helped me every step of the way and I recommend them to all my friends and family.
I love how they kept each and every student engage and involve in the learning process. We was able to learn a lot by our trainers experiences and as well from real live Engineers as well too. They kept drilling the fundamentals in our head over and over until we got it as we got more advance in the learning and realize how the basics tie in everything. All the staff members are easy to get a hold of and they want to see all of us excel in our careers.
The first two blocks were amazing I was picking up everything they were throwing down. Then the third block I felt like I left behind in the dust. Great experience overall hoping to pass my CCNA this year.

The mentors are excellent in teaching and solving your questions. Students get to learn and practice on various labs and cyber range simulation is the most amazing one to gain practical experience. I learned a great deal and although I haven't landed my dream job yet, I still have full confidence that I will succeed nonetheless. NGT gave me that confidence. Training was useless the second half, it was all follow along even after they advertised it wouldn’t be that.
The program is amazing full of information that's valid to what we are need in the workforce. The only problem I had and it's a personal one is that it was very fast paced. Hands down one of the best experiences I've had at a school. I just wish that I had started it now versus doing during the pandemic because I would have had a better grasp on things than I did then. If you're looking for a place that'll help you pass your Certifications and give a vast knowledge base this is the place to be. The instructor are beyond helpful and take the time to explain things you may not understand. The online modules are very detailed and help reinforce what you learn during the live class time. If you're looking for a place to learn I'd recommend NGT any day of the week.
Although I am still in the process of obtaining my CCNA, I can say that the program has been fruitful. The formula for studying and what to study in order to break into IT is all here. The online lessons continually improve and the content is constantly evolving to meet the demands of the current exam/field we are on the brink of. The community is extremely helpful and I have been fortunate enough to get almost immediate replies whenever I reach out to another alumni, mentor or instructor. I thank you NexGenT for continuing to allow me to be a part of this program and I look forward to continuing my education.
I am giving 5 stars because I was very angry with the issue but Paol and Tami did not let my anger with NexgenT shake their professionalism. They were excellent as for NexgenT, I was told one thing when I signed up only to find out that another is true. Great way to do business NexgenT.
Tami responded very fast and answered all of my questions with great detail.

Great program, great instructors, great resources in the industry available to students. They even provide help with self awareness, personal and professional motivation, skills assessments, and one on one instruction as needed. This is a great program and offers a wonderful opportunity for growth.
