NexGenT (DBA NGT Academy) was founded by two Air Force veterans who have trained thousands of engineers for the military. They have combined the military-style training philosophy of job readiness with decades of network engineering and cyber security experience working at Cisco Systems, Arista Networks, and Dimension Data into an immersive program to get people into cyber security or networking careers faster and more effectively than ever! NGT Academy is on a mission to help 1 million people get tech jobs by 2030. There will be 3 million unfilled cyber security jobs in the market by 2021. We want to close that skills gap by providing people an affordable education that gets them job-ready for a career in cyber security. NGT Academy believes that students shouldn’t be left with outrageous debt from degrees that don’t teach the required skills to succeed in the workplace. We believe we have the best program to equip anyone to be cyber security specialists in the fastest way possible. We believe in having a strong foundation in network architecture before students go into our cyber security training. Once the student masters the fundamentals in networking, they are better prepared to step into our cyber security training program along with real-world projects.
More challenging than I thought. I enjoyed doing the labs and the quizzes. I learned a lot about networking and configuring switches through the labs.
I was pleased with the education approach, it was interesting and easy to understand. I never felt overwhelmed with plenty support available. I enjoyed all that I've learned and I will go further with this. thanks for opening my eyes to a new opportunities and a new life.
I had went to ITT Technical Institute for a "Network Systems Administration" degree years ago. With that degree I had a hard time even getting a Help Desk job. I can kind of see why now. In a short time I've been provided with tons more useful information at NGT and looking forward to getting an actual Network Engineer position.
It has been a complex journey from the beginning. I had difficult times to analyze some venues and some chapters. I did my own research for every single new knowledge and to conquer a new field of education. I had my frustrating moments and victor moments to describe, but that did not deviate me to keep learning and scalating to a new level. Even though I had a little assistance in my training, I made a substancial improvement to feel the difference from past to present. Was not easy, I tell you. Now, my next challenge is...look for a new horizon and ask God to bless me for a new field of work.
I e done a few online courses before and NGT sets the bar exceptionally high. From their first rate platform to the incredible instructors and counselors, you will not feel alone whether you’re on day one or day 180. I’m full impressed with everything NGT has to offer and have no doubt I’ll succeed with their guidance and instruction.
The support team is very helpful, especially Brittany—she’s amazing! I just wish NGT would provide more detailed explanations for the incorrect answers or show the correct ones.
Jacob Hess is very knowledgable in Network Engineering and knows how to explain it in a way that people can grasp and learn. The program was a great experience and helped me to recap on everything I taught myself before taking and passing the CCNA exam.
This company definitely nailed all the core and basic concepts to give a great head start into networking and all the different IT fields!
So far I have been there a week and had nothing but a great experience. every time I have asked for help in a class I have gotten it right away from a mentor or another student. Not to mention the staff have been awesome David Valdez and Robin Stoehr have been awesome those are the main two I have interacted with. If you are looking for a career in IT or Networking this is the place #zerotoengineer
I began my journey last October, I was hoping to have been completed or just about completed. This past summer was probably the worst I have ever had. I ended up with Dr. appt's a surgery at the end of July. Just to have another on 9.16.24.; I am still in the recovery phase and will be for a while. A big SHOUT out to NGT Academy! Through all this they have made me feel like a person and not a number. All thanks to Brittany Digiulio. Her reaching out to me is what has made a difference for me.
Modules were informative. Labs were really great.
The whole process was lengthy but so packed with information. I like how I can pause and take notes without rushing and how the instructor explains everything.
The support system @Brittany And Cameroon made my studies successful.

Very good program that lets you learn at your own pace and courses that are easy to understand the materials being discussed.
The ease and patience of the mentors, the indept analysis of the course, the scintillating guidance and resource materiales made everything outstanding. The way they encouraged me strengthened my hands to continue at odd times. It is encouraging
great material but short on mentoring assistance
Don’t really care for it . I personally felt some content were outdated or not functioning correctly. I asked for help sometime I had to send another message to get a response. I was excited at the beginning but now feel unsure as I progressed through the module. However, Brittany, was an amazing resource. Will I recommend? Probably not. I’m still awaiting a response from August.
Over the years I've had tons of experiences with other courses, boot camps, technical schools and even colleges! And the difference is, the almost unlimited resources of the hands-on labs in college. But with that being said. The pros in all other areas of learning and delivery none of them beats NGT, hands down!! And the way the course work is broken down into manageable, bite-sized modules along with the self-paced curriculum, and the way Jacob breaks things down, makes retention of the material second to none!!! Not to mention the entire helpful, friendly, courteous, encouraging, supportive and professional staff; makes for the best decision I have ever made in my training journey by far!!!
Instructions are very clear, and the lectures teach you everything you need to know in order to get your certification.
