We booked just before our two-year new build warranty ran out, and we’re so glad we did. We recently moved into a new build and was looking for a company to come and do a report just to check things over, martyn came and cracked straight on explaining what he would be carrying out and if we had any questions, after a couple of hours martyn sat down with us and explained his thoughts on the property and assured us everything was ok except a few minor cosmetics. We received the snagging report with photos and descriptions as to why they were classed as snags after the weekend which we are now able to take back to the builders to rectify. We would like thank martyn and his team for their efforts and communication and would certainly recommend if you’re looking for a professional outfit who has spent many years in the building trade.

Very pleased with the snagging experience which has given me peace of mind for the biggest purchase of my life. Booking was easy and communication was prompt and effective with the office. Graham conducted the snagging, turned up on time and was clearly knowledgeable and methodical. In the end around 50 snags were identified, most of which are simple to fix but would not have been picked up by an untrained eye.

Excellent experience. We were impressed by David Reid who arrived at the site exactly on time even though virtually no one else could find it as it is still under construction and the main entrance is closed off. David did a very comprehensive inspection of our new build, adding items we specifically requested. He met us afterwards to give a verbal summary of the main issues and then sent a comprehensive report with photos. We would highly recommend David.

Easy to book, excellent responses, first class knowledge throughout the process. Survey was done within days, I handed the document to the developer (Jones Homes at the Grange, Last Drop, Bolton) and they didn't argue with the findings. I have done a lot of refurbishment work myself on other properties and hadn't spotted some of the snags. Martyn's knowledge was impressive. I've had a new garage roof, looked fine to me but Martyn saw things differently, Garage door had small bits missing and water drainage issues in my garden. Any issues and Martyn is on the end of a mobile call to speak to the developer. Excellent value.

Extremely easy to book and very friendly and helpful prior to inspection. Andy, the inspector, was very thorough and explained what he was doing. He inspected on the Friday and the report was received on the Monday afterwards. The report was easy to follow with all snags explained with photographs where practicable.

We were searching for a professional snagging company and saw the New Build Inspections website. We found the website easy to use and it contained lots of useful information. Our initial enquiry, and all later emails, were answered promptly and we were able to book in for our preferred date just seven days afterwards. The inspection was thorough and brought to light a number of snags that we hadn’t spotted. The report was sent to us just a day or two later, so we had it for the 14 day meeting with our site manager. It was in a user friendly format (numbered items using photos with arrows pointing to the problem and a short description) which has made it easy for us and the developer to work through the defects. Overall, happy with the service and have recommended to a friend.

This company produced a really exhaustive list of snagging issues and we're extremely straightforward to book, they asked key clarifying questions to ensure that the snagging inspection would be permitted by the developers and even liased with them to make sure this permission was granted.

So, I used this business for my snagging survey on my new house. Thought it was great value at the time. However, many months on, I've identified myself a number of issues that the snagger probably should have picked up on - including blocked weepholes, walls put of tolerance in the kitchen, unlevel window boards l, the list goes on so frankly feel like I've been robbed on this. Wouldn't recommend.

Our new build developer kept messing us around as to when a PCI snagging check could take place. This meant that NBI had to rearrange inspections on several occasions. Despite these challenges, NBI was extremely flexible and a pleasure to communicate with. Stuart, the inspector, did an outstanding job identifying issues with the property. After completing the inspection, he called us to highlight a particular problem that needed immediate attention before we moved in.
