The order arrived on time delivery cost was a bit high.
I ordered from this website thinking I would be getting a good deal on some timber materials for a project I'm working on at home. When ordering they allowed me to pick a delivery date. I ordered on the Monday and picked the Thursday for delivery. Thursday passed and I hadn't had any emails or calls from them and nothing was delivered. I had planned to do some DIY work on the Friday. So Friday morning I called them. The guy said 'yes I can confirm it hasn't been delivered!', groundbreaking stuff! He said I should call back later and I may get an update. I called back at 4pm. This guy was more helpful. He did say he spoke to the purchasing team and it was sorted, but it wouldn't be delivered until Monday or Tuesday. Which was fine. He said he would get a confirmation email sent out. No email was sent. Late Sunday night I get an email to say my order is cancelled! Very poor. I won't be using them again.
I was skeptical, but things where OK. Placed my order for delivery well after there normal lead time and the Friday before I get s call to say there has been an issue and delivery will be another week. Little annoyed but it came from a really nice local supplier in the end. Wood was 90% perfect, few sheets needed to be trimmed and clearly end sheets at some point as the straps had warped and cut in to the ply. Overall would happily order again.

This review is unashamedly cloned from another review as the complaint is the same. My order No was 0563-52. Ordered on Tuesday 20/08/24 and stated delivery was Monday 09/09/24. Price was a bit cheaper than my usual supplier but more importantly it seemed that Materials Market could supply 3.6m lengths of decking which my supplier couldn't. Got to Thursday 05/09/24, 11 working days after the order, and I received a call from Alex saying that they couldn't fulfill the order. I called Vigu in customer services who contacted Ben who in turn said that he would call me back after his current call. 5 hours later and still no call. I called Customer Services again and Ekin confirmed that they could not supply my materials and immediately instigated my refund. For customer relations they were spot on. The reason for leaving a negative feedback is that I now have a job starting in 2 working days with no materials. The contract price was based on MM prices and so I'm going to be out of pocket, I've lost work time and my client is having to wait until the materials can be delivered by a reliable supplier. Reading other reviews, this is not an isolated incident.
Needed some Type 1 done some research and for you on line, simple process and swift delivery. Delivery driver BOB was polite and friendly and put the bulk bag exactly where I needed it. Great service from start to finish would defo use again. 10/10

placed an order a week in advance online apart from a email saying they had received my order i heard nothing ,i then contacted them by email as there is no chance of getting through by phone ,was then told my order could not be delivered on the day i requested and would be delivered the next working day ,yet again no communication to say what was happening and with no delivery i had to contact them by email to cancel the order ,which i doubt they would of ever delivered it or notified me of that without me having to email them ,i have gathered that they dont actually have a stock but act as agents for other suppliers,i would avoid trying to order anything via them and in future go to the suppliers direct ,now have to reorder through someone that can actually fulfill an order and take more time off work to do what i had originally intended had i not been let down so badly by them
The Driver was friendly and courteous and was efficient at his job
last 2 orders were 3 and 6 days late - can't rely on them - won't be using them again

Ordered reversible decking as needed reeded deck boards so paid slightly more for the rest of my materials as these had the boards I needed. Turned up not reeded or reversible just grooved and smooth…after multiple phone calls was told they will collect and source the correct decking boards! Collected the incorrect decking boards last week but still no date or sign of the correct ones although still advertised as available on their website! Went on their chat system to get an update and chase, only to wait over 30 minutes for a response, after I had already been talking to a representative. When sent a couple of questions after 30 minutes their advisor told me they had a high volume of calls and chats so expect a delay. Finally after a lot of back and forth got told it had been passed to a manager who would call me back the same day, here we are 5 o clock no call and I presume another day of chasing tomorrow. Horrendous customer service now they’ve got my money and the products back not bothered about rectifying the issue! Update 16/09 Still no decking boards or refund having to chase again got told 03/09 that I would get a call back from a manager same day nearly 2 weeks later I have to ring them to chase again and no manager available still. (Decking boards still advertised as available on their website)
The price difference between other popular warehouse are much lower and the products are made well. The delivery was before the given date as they had a slot available. The driver was really friendly which is always a good thing. I will be using this company from now on. I spoke to Bigu who was very professional and helpful in helping me select my orders. A credit to the organisation.
