My order No was 0573-70. Ordered on Tuesday 27/08/24 and stated delivery was Monday 02/09/24. Price was around 40% cheaper than Wickes so placed my order and paid as you do. Got to Friday 30/08/24 and no order confirmation recieved so placed a call to customer services. Chap on the phone stated that they could not fullfil order despite the date given when taking payment and customer to please, asked for them to cancel and they did so and refunded in full within 30 minutes of the call. For customer relations they were spot on, the reason for leaving a negative feedback is fairly much the same as everyone else, what company takes an order and states a date, they then tout out your business to a third party in the hope that said third part will fullfill your order, not a great business practice by any means. Like going to tesco and placing an order online only to have asda deliver your groceries. What a strange business practice!
Was advised delivery a week after I ordered. Nothing arrived. Phoned up. "Having difficulty finding a supplier! May have to supply longer lengths of timber - will phone you back in an hour". 24 hours later, still waiting. Phone them up again. "No notes on the order from the day before." After insisting that I spoke to somebody the call handler found the person I spoke to who was "still trying to find a solution". Today, 9 days after placing the order, they cancel it. I now have to cancel the building work and find a reliable supplier. What is the point of listing items when they cannot fulfil orders????? Order No: 0565-73
Not happy. Was due a delivery today! Had no contact from the company! Had to phone them which took ages to get through to be the told it might be Monday or Tuesday! First time shopping with them! Will not be doing it again! Do not recommend!

Amazing customer service - the team actually took time to call and me and explain why there was a delay. I get things go wrong and some things are out of control - but automated emails etc - are just frustrating - a person picking up the phone and being genuine is a rare quality in companies today. The automation needs to sit alongside the personal touch - thank you!
This was my first order with Materials Market and a big one for us so I was slightly nervous. I am pleased to say all arrived on time and without any issues. Communications were good and the materials of a good quality. Will use again.
Easy process and delivered on date I chose. Only issue was the delivery charge, had to pay 2 separate rates as I ordered timber and insulation. Timber was £20 and insulation was £50 delivery for 2 boards. I thought it would be 2 separate deliveries from separate suppliers because of the 2 charges but they arrived on the same delivery from the same supplier so delivery cost are abit excessive.
I have been ordering from them for over a year. I never had any issues (I'm an interior contractor), but if there were any, Ekin was "The Superman" on the phone (he always solved any problems and helped us as a business to get the orders on time and to suit our needs). Highly recommend. Thanks.
Placed order online on Tuesday Morning. Website said Friday delivery. Called up to check the delivery could be met at critical to the job. Told to call back Wednesday if not received confirmation. Called both Wed and then Thurs. Finally told Friday could not be met (now too late to go with another supplier). Not only the timing couldn't be met, but one of the products specs would have to also change. Frustrating part is they take no accountability / shift blame as they are 'just the middle man' in connecting you to a supplier. I asked for the trustpilot link to leave a verified review and they refused. Do yourself a favor and go direct. They aren't any cheaper than several other suppliers. For a company who markets itself for meeting cost and delivery timing, have certainly not met the minimum expectation, very disappointing.

Materials Market were great! As a keen DIYer I have used many companies in the past. Materials Market exceeded my expectations, easy website to navigate and use, they communicated well and delivery was both easy and on the day they said it would be. I had ordered 11 sheets of 8'x4' Celotex so I had to help the delivery driver with the off-loading. He would have struggled on his own. I'd certainly use them again as they have great prices and fast delivery.
