Ordered 2.4 lengths as advertised on website,on day of delivery was offered 4.8 which were unacceptable,was then told the best they could do was 3 mtr as they don’t do 2.4 in my area, utter BS

This company just sources materials from other supplies. I placed an order, choose delivery date, they confirmed order and your transaction amount is shown as pending on your bank account. Unfortunately 2 days before delivery they phone to say they can't supply exactly what you ordered and offer to send a different product and size!. Not good enough, should be made clear when you order that they don't hold stock. We are now left frantically trying to source goods so not to delay build schedule. They don't even apologise for misleading you or the inconvenience, totally unreliable l.
Amazing and quick response from customer services, I recently placed an order which I had mistakenly got the wrong materials, after contacting customer service and speaking with Ben, he managed to get my order replaced with the right materials and his kind and friendly manner soon put my stressed self at ease! And even got my delivery with me sooner than I expected! 10/10 for Ben and I will definitely be recommending your company.

Bad experience. These guys are just a middle person and don't stock anything themselves. They just order direct from other suppliers at cheapest rates and doesn't matter on quality or specification. I ordered 2 types of timber that should have been brown treated as per pictures and agreed with a customer I was building something for. Both were the wrong colour when they arrived. They were also a different shape to the pictures which meant they were less suitable. They don't accept any responsibility or blame for it, they just refer to their disclaimers and that it's their supplier problem. No resolution given. I had to pay to paint these back to the original colour agreed with customer. I should have just picked these up locally for same price and wouldn't have to wait a week for delivery UPDATED: Ref: INV-44694
The service and communication from this company is dreadful. I placed an order which was due to be delivered between 7am and 4pm last Wednesday. Eventually a driver turned up at 6:45pm with only half of the order. After contacting Materials Market I was assured it would be delivered on Thursday instead. Again, no joy. I tried calling but the hold message was infuriating - a message about all of their wonderful reviews online and how they always deliver on time 😳 The latest was that I was promised it would be here today, Monday, first thing. Guess what? It’s after 8pm and nothing. I would be sympathetic if there was any sort of communication to explain that there was a delay. Instead I’m left waiting for the last 4 working days with vehicles strategically placed to make space for the delivery vehicle. Shocking service.
