My boyfriend (a native New Englander) suprised his desert rat girl with two delicious live lobsters (meat was sweet), clam chowder, lobster bisque, crab cakes, haddock (which is not easily found here in Vegas) and whoopie pies for my birthday... The soups were exceptional as were the crab cakes... We will absolutely be ordering again../ This will hold our cravings til our yearly trip back to Boston / Maine / New Hampshire...
Placed four orders of 1.25lb lobsters and cherrystone clams for us and geographically separate family. All nine lobsters were molts, despite my polite request for “full adults,” and weighed far less than 1.25 (yes, all were weighed on kitchen scales after we received my disappointing order). 2/4 orders were missing address unit numbers (possibly UPS’ fault. Two cherrystones were crushed and this would be impossible in transit. Otherwise, the clams were absolutely amazing.
We ordered on Friday and lobsters arrived Sat morning in FL. Packaging was great with Styrofoam cooler, ice packs and seaweed. Lobsters were great, juicy and tender and very tasty. Dont forget the Whoopie Pies as they were a great end to the meal. We will definately buy again!!!!
I can buy jumbo king crab legs for 26$ a pound at sams and any super market around here. Your a Ripoff
I just finished eating some of my first ever order of live Maine lobsters. I seriously live in the middle of nowhere Kansas. I was giving it 50/50 odds they would even be alive. The shipment arrived on time and the lobsters were friskier than when I used to buy them out of a tank at the grocery store in Virginia! Since I am apparently the only person in this godforsaken state that wants lobster and the stores don't carry much seafood in general I will definitely be ordering again!
Lobsters were awesome! Steamahs were delicious and so sweet!! However, a lot came cracked and broken. I quickly emailed a picture and they were quick about reimbursing me so that was good. We will order from them again but probably not steamahs even though the ones we had were amazing!
I had hear that the world's need for lobster had dropped and that I should come to this website for some good to great specials. Was very excited about my order - 2 smaller tails (7oz) and 2 larger tails (8-10oz). When the tails arrived, the two sizes were split in individual bags. With them still being rock solid frozen, I tossed the smaller pack into the freezer for another day and started to defrost the larger two for the next nights dinner. When I was finally able to look at the lager tails, it was quite obvious that one was an 8-10 oz. and the other was the 7 oz. No problem, I just went with a little less that night for dinner. Fast forward to yesterday - had pulled the remaining two from the freezer. Much to my surprise - they were both the smaller 7 oz'ers. Where was my 2nd 8-10 oz tail. Too late for a call to customer service, they had closed for the evening. Moving forward, I rinsed the two tales, then proceeded to butterfly them - I was grilling last night. As I cut through the shell - one of the tails was packed with that nasty green stuff - no problem - wipe it away - don't EAT. Unfortunately the tail meat is completely green - the second tail is a strange orangish color. (I have pictures to support my claim) Tried to call this morning but get the recording - closed - even though I called during the hours the recording says they are open on Saturday. Overall - not that excited about the experience. Had to throw $50 of Lobster away. Will say the 1st two tails were good - that's why this isn't a 1 star review. Maybe over stock sales aren't all they care cut up to be, maybe Quality Control isn't as rigorous? Not sure - no one there to answer my call. Moral of my story - maybe discount prices don't work well for seafood
I had a great experience with this company.I ordered for my daughter who lives in Las Vegas,I’m in New York. She received her package the very next day! The items were packaged well,and still plenty cold! We had a little hiccup with the order,however,customer service was fast and exceptional! I will be ordering again! Thanks 😊

Ordered from here Lobsters and Steamers for a friends Birthday and they hit it out of the Park. They thoroughly enjoyed their Birthday dinner especially since you can't go to a restaurant at this time. Delivery was so flawless and economical that I bought another dinner for friends on the other side of the US who couldn't celebrate at a restaurant there baby news. Awesome job people. You are now my goto place for Labster, steamers and just a great meal.
I had a great experience ordering my lobster online. I recieved my order 4 hours earlier right on the next day of the order. Lobsters came in fresh and alive. Would love to order more from Main Lobster and would highly recommend it to friends and family.
This was our first time ordering from Maine Lobster Now after we had a wonderful experience with lobster dinner from my cousin's house. First, our order didn't come on time. They did call me the day before the arrival to inform me that one of the order was out of stock. I missed their call, so I called them back and talked to a gentleman to replace it with something else. On the day of arrival, I didn't receive a shipping confirmation, so I called them back. I spoke to Mike, and he was very sorry for the whole situation and offered extra items. I decided to keep my order and received them early the next day. Although the shipment was late, we were very happy with the quality of the food, and we were able to enjoy the extra food they compensated for the delay. Overall, the service was good and people taking the call were friendly.
We had an small issue with a delivery. I called company and they were more than eager to correct the issue. Both parties I spoke to were more than helpful to help us. Very happy with results
I ordered two lb of lobster meat frozen. It arrived frozen and timely. However, when I thawed the two lb 6 days later to make lobster rolls, the meat was tough, dried out and tasted like a freezer. I could not serve it to my family and had to throw it away. That was over 100$ that went into the garbage. I called and emailed them and have never heard back. Needless to say how disappointed I am. This is something I can't afford but thought I would do something special for my family at Easter. F/u review I was finally contacted(after review). They replace the two lb of frozen lobster meat with another two lb of frozen lobster meat. Again it arrived frozen and on time. And again...it was terrible tasting. I gave 1 lobster tail to 5 different people to try. Wanted to be sure it was not me with a tasting problem. 4/5 spit it out immediately saying it tasted old and disgusting. The 5 person took two bites and said it tasted old and with a slightly moldy aftertast. I really wanted to like this second batch of lobster but can't. My review is for the frozen lobster since that is all I tried. I dont know if they have better quality control with fresh. I certainly cannot recommend them
Put in my first order from San Diego for 4 live lobsters and 1 lb Steamers, supposed to be here Thursday instead it arrived this morning Tue, 2 days early! Lobsters were thrashing around, SO ALIVE! Ordering was easy, minutes later received 3 emails from the company informing me to expect the tracking number, sure enough the next day I can tracked where my lobsters were. Can’t wait to order again, except now my refrigerator is too full due to the “stay at home” quarantine due to the Coronavirus. So happy l can order directly from Maine. After receiving my tracking number I received an email from the company saying my order would be delayed. However, it arrived on time so that was confusing. Upon opening, one of the Whoopie pies had a hole in it and since it was just tossed in loosely with the live lobsters it had to be thrown away. About half of the mussels were either broken or wide open and wouldn't close so they had to be discarded. Once cooked, the food was very good. Also, the order arrived without the bibs but we weren't too concerned about that.
I saw wonderful pictures and ordered for my husbands birthday dinner. He opened it up and picked up several bags with tiny pieces nothing like the pics. He just smiled and said its the thought that counts. I paid a stupid amount of money to be ashamed of my gift.
I ordered 2 lbs of frozen lobster meat but it was a bad batch (smelled really fishy and tasted awful). I called Customer Service and they are able to issue a refund. I am very happy with the service I received. Thank you for a wonderful customer experience!
I received this as a gift from my daughter. It was amazing. Clam chowder took me back to Maine, rich creamy and super amount for two. Also Maine Blueberry pie was to die for! It continued to the next day to fresh salmon, delectable also angus steaks and chicken breasts still to try but gauging on what we have consumed so far, am looking forward to it. Delivered fast from Maine to Florida fresh and still frozen. Thank you. You are the best!
