sorry to have to day but again although paying for a next day service, the delivery was not next day. from an order placed on 9th May I am still awaiting delivery of small bubble wrap. surely a nationwide packaging supplier should have bubble wrap in stock and available for delivery?

Unfortunately Macfarlane Packaging sent my order to an old address due to a 'system problem'. However a call to Sales was handled brilliantly and goods were dispatched immediately to the correct place. The problem could not have been resolved more easily or with less hassle. Much appreciated.
What has happened to this once good company. Its just goes from bad to worse and they have little or no idea of customer service. We live in Milton Keynes and used to collect our order, they stopped that because it was to much trouble. Now you face the lottery of getting what you ordered on time and complete. Ordered 2 items for delivery today 09/05/2017. Without any prior notification only one turned up, on enquiry the other is coming tomorrow as it had been dispatched from a separate depot. WAKE UP MACFARLANES not everyone is a big company who has staff available to accept delivery we have to wait in to accept delivery. Then you get some young female who really could not care less on the phone saying you can have a £10.00 discount off your next order which is great when you pay £5.99 postage and it has not been delivered as promised No one lets you know beforehand you have to do the chasing and the attitude you receive when you do is derisory. What a company, and just like a lot of others don't want the smaller accounts

Utter incompetency in handling my order. Dispatched the wrong box size then after complaining they assured me that they would dispatch the correct order two days later. Well here I'm am two days later, on Friday (the weekend of my move) and I still haven't received the box size I ordered. I have just come off the phone from calling the company. I called at 15:45 and phone rang and rang and then after 15 minutes of waiting the message switched, stating office hours, and how they were now closed.. great!. On a number of levels I wouldn't trust Macfarlane Packaging in the future.... Its now the following day... their phone message says that the office will be open today at 9am... its now 9:21 and the phone service still says they are not open... completely, and utterly unprofessional service. My move is basically complete no thanks to Macfarland... will be pursuing a full refund.....

Quick and very nice to deal with.
I've been using Macfarlane Packaging for some years on behalf of my employer and have always used their Customer Connect website to order. This used to be a straight forward and quick system until it was updated last year. Now it resembles a website you would use at home for purchasing one off items, is slow to load and requires much more user input than the previous version. I find myself having to back track to print off a copy of my order once placed and the print out itself can unnecessarily run into 2 pages due to the layout dominated by shipping and billing details. I understand that companies feel the need to make changes and keep things up to date, but this shouldn't have a negative impact, which I feel it has in this case. I cannot fault the Sales Manager who handles our business, or the.support staff who deal with the orders, but they have been let down by website which may be fine for home users, but poor for businesses.
I did order just before the April bank holiday and as promised my order arrived in 5 working days. Order was correct and pleased with my purchase.

Speedy delivery and quality of products and packagine very good, no complaints as such with you. However, the delivery driver was less than satisfactory as he left the gate open at the cattle grid which, had I not noticed in time, would have enabled our livestock to escape. Really not happy about that. Perhaps you could have a word with drivers to make sure that all gates are left as found. Thankyou.
