After just under a year our Liebherr fridge's internal door light stopped working. Customer support sent out an engineer (organised through the high street retailer we bought the fridge from) and he turned out to be polite, friendly and obviously very experienced. He fixed the issue in under 5 minutes! No replacement spares needed, just an adjustment to the switch mechanism. Very impressed by the whole service experience!
Prompt repair - fully recommend over others! Repair guy fixed 2 appliances in under an hour that other appliance repair firms (2 engineers) deemed unrepairable and destined for landfill (26 months old only)! He got stuck in - fixed the problem and was friendly and efficient doing so.

Appalling after sales service from the UK team It took 6 months to repair a brand new freezer with damage occurring to our brand new cabinetry caused by the repairman. Impossible to speak to anyone effective on the customer service team. Customer service manager doesn’t respond to calls or emails. Definitely avoid purchasing if you want a reliable appliance or any aftercare when a new product fails. Very sad situation that customer services fail to listen and resolve issues and do not respond to emails or calls.
I ordered a Liebherr fridge/freezer through one of their sales outlets. I was told that the delivery would happen within 10 days. When this did not happen I contacted the company I purchased the appliance from and they stated that Liebherr are having issues with deliveries. I chased this for a further two weeks and was told the same thing. I contacted Liebherr directly and they confirmed the delivery issue was due to a cyber attack. Issue being after over a month from the order I still have no information as to when the item will be delivered and neither does the company I bought the item from.
I replied to customer services, who promptly returned my call. (? Julie Roberts) Very professional & polite manner. She explained clearly the issues & listened to my concerns. She asked what could be done to remedy situation. She agreed to extend warranty to give peace of mind. I am very impressed by professionalism of Liebherrs' response - Thank you so much Bought a £950 fridge freezer on January 12, 2023 (cnd5724). The first two that were delivered in December weren't accepted by me upon delivery, as they were too badly damaged, covered in dents & physical damage. 3rd fridge freezer lasted 8 months before failing - engineer came to repair after 11days - had to replace main circuit board and the digital display. Very disappointed with the poor reliability - glad to have purchased with visa credit card, as at least that gives some peace of mind
I was ordering some extra shelves for a newly purchased fridge-freezer, and due to an ambiguity in the spares diagram, I found I had ordered extra parts I did not need. I raised this with Liebherr service, and the problem was dealt with very promptly and helpfully. They also recognised that the ambiguity needed to be sorted, and appear to have taken action to deal with it. I couldn't ask for more!

As a previous owner of another brand of fridge freezer, I was looking for a better experience as regards the new Lierherr fridge freezer I was intending to purchase. I have not been disappointed, I have an appliance that does everything very well, I no longer suffer with the continual frosting experienced on my previous appliances. On terms of customer service I have nothing but praise for the service I received, I contacted Liebherr after I unknowingly left the freezer door slightly open, causing a problem I couldn’t fix myself, a very experienced engineer attended and in no time put everything right at no cost to myself. To me this speaks volumes about the quality of the products and aftercare the company provides. Absolutely brilliant service.
They’ve been nothing but problems since we got their appliances. We have a fridge, freezer, and drinks fridge. We’ve had problems with all of them. I’m on a first name basis with their repair guy. It’s been 10 months and I’m now waiting for him to come out again. I regret buying these and wish we’d gone with another brand.
Do not buy Liebherr , it certainly doesn’t live up to the name or reputation anymore. We bought Liebherr thinking we were getting the top of the range appliance the best on the market but how wrong were we! . We purchased a wine cooler / freezer fridge combo swtnes3010 at nearly £6000 only to have a complete compressor failure / gas leak just 6 months out of the warranty period. As out of warranty I had to buy another half of the fridge (wine cooler / freezer) to replace the faulty one , albeit at a reduced cost but still you don’t expect to pay that amount and a product / name of such high Calibur to fail like that but I was tied as it is a big feature of our kitchen. Now it has happened again 9 years down the line to be bluntly told by customer service that nothing can be done! and it will be £6/7000 to replace the whole unit! The fridge half is working perfectly fine and have had no problems but told I’ve no other option but to replace the whole thing at £6/7000 I have had someone look at the fridge and had confirmed it is the compressor / gas leakage again . It was bad luck it happened the 1st time but to happen again and be treated like I have is absolutely disgusting!! The recommended appliance repair companies I was told to contact have told me Liebherr appliances are the most common that are in need of repair I think this speaks volumes. How wrong was I to think it was a top of the range brand. You expect at that price for it to last longer than 9 years. It is certainly not a reliable brand. On the website it says Liebherr are renowned for their after sales customer service well this certainly isn’t the case. There has been no compassion what so ever just very dismissive. Customer service staff also giving conflicting information so I was hopeful for at least something to help the situation only to be bluntly told there is nothing that can be done!
I have a Liebherr KDes3142 and it has been running fault free since 2001, 22 years! It needs a new door seal for both freezer and fridge doors. Is this a spare part that I can get? Serial number 74.658.132.0. Cannot locate on the Liebherr site. Please help. Was told I had to buy new doors. It is a smasher. A rated too. Looking at getting a E rater. Not my ideal option....
Bought a K2630 fridge in Aug 2016. Really well designed and built – no criticisms lat alone any problems, even the light bulb is still good. Keeps contents within 2° of set temperature, cools large quantities of slightly warm food. No ice-making, so no never any defrosting; I assume the cold side of the refrigeration circuit never operates at or below 0°C as the digital thermostat settings are 1, 3, 5, 7, 9 (°C). Looks like new with no signs of almost 7 years of use, hopefully I’ll get another 7+ years of service from it. Now need to replace a badly-made-in-china chest freezer, so Liebherr was my go-to brand. Then I saw the worrying level of one-star ratings, but looking at alternative upright freezers of around 200L, all the other brands of suitable upright freezers have far worse ratings and criticisms of their customer service.
I was having difficulties making and completing an online order for the two parts of a F/F lower freezer drawer. I was then concerned that having given my bank details more than once, I might find charges for each attempt. I telephoned the Appliance Division, and was extremely pleased with the super customer friendly, helpful manner shown to me by both of the ladies who answered - and satisfied - my request for help. I have very recently been in touch with Liebherr about a replacement door for a fridge-freezer. (The door issue arose because of misuse by a user.) I am extremely impressed with Liebherr's level of customer service, and courtesy in dealing with a problem not of their making, and rapid response. They went way above and beyond what I had expected. I bought a liebherr fridge freezer in October, and after a couple of months, I heard an alarm saying there was a problem with the freezer fan. I contacted the service department, and within a couple of weeks, they sent a new part to my home, followed by an engineer to replace the faulty one..no fuss, no bother...wish more companies dealt with problems this way. Appliance working fine with no issues. Well done
We have a built in freezer which sadly on starting it up had a bit of a fan problem. A transportation problem or otherwise, nobody can know. But Liebherr addressed this problem with no fuss at all and we now have a fully functional freezer. So, in summary, a sticky start but Liebherr made sure this didn't turn into a drama! Excellent customer service. Thank you very much.
