This is the second purchase I have made from Kielder, I so was impressed with the performance of my first, a 1/2" impact gun, that I decided to buy more of their products including an angle grinder and combo drill. The ordering process is simple and efficient. The delivery is smooth, well wrapped etc. The products are excellent, good value for money with fantastic performance... I will be sticking to Kielder...

I bought the KIELDER KWT-012-81 (from SGS rather than directly) and have been very impressed with it. It appears to be sturdy and well made and has some serious torque - I replaced the front shocks on my son's car and it undid all the bolts, including the wheel nuts, with ease. I'm now contemplating the 18v ratchet.
I bought a flight case on 16/2/24 and it’s not arrived as I write this it’s the 28th After countless calls and a couple of promised return calls that didn’t happen!! I’m just off the phone to be told it’s DHL that’s got address wrong…. And I’m supposed to accept that with nothing for my inconvenience??

I first saw these tools being used by bad obsession motorsport on YouTube, after a bit of research I dropped them a message on Facebook asking for some advice on battery choice etc and decided to buy both the 1/2 & 3/8 ultra compact impacts as my main use is engine bay work and buzzing the odd wheel off. I wasn't expecting too much grunt from them but ideal for my intended use (can always crack wheel nuts off with a bar so not too fussed) I was very surprised when the 1/2 gun blasted the wheel nuts off a Ford transit straight out the box, no running in and hadn't even charged the battery! The 3/8 impact is slightly less powerful but allows greater access with the narrower socket size compared to the 1/2. Both tools and the batteries feel of very good quality, are well balanced and initial thoughts are that they'll suit what I need them for perfectly! I dont think I'd go back to using milwaukee tools when these are available are up to the task and are far cheaper. Its also nice to get an answer from direct from the company when looking to buy. I'll definitely be buying some of their other tools in future.
Purchased the KWT-012 about 4 months ago and was initially teased at work by colleagues saying “why waste money, never heard of them”, “Dewalt and Milwaukee are the best” and “you should invest in good tools”. The first test was my 700Nm gun against my colleagues high torque Bosch gun, which of course went in favour of Bosch with wry grins. I’ve been more than happy with the performance against specification. I’ve now just purchased the KWT-085 and am keen to put it up against Milwaukee, Bosch and Dewalt in the workshop. The equivalents have similar specs but are way over priced, with Milwaukee being more than double the price for Gun only, and more than 3 time the price for a kit with batteries and charger ( only obvious difference being a tracker and slightly more torque) Final point being, I’m proud to support quality British manufacturing. There 700nm impact wrench isn't the best I've had nothing but trouble with it and kielder just don't seem to want to help out ive got a video of it cutting out when the trigger is held and the impact wrench sounds like its eating itself from the inside trying to take wheel nuts off a little fiat punto that are only torqued to 120nm
