Every time we have an issue with one of our Kielder products, we send it back for 'refurb' - it always comes back well done, so really happy with the refurb. Having said that, many of the Kielder products we use are used very well, daily. So the longevity of the products isn't as long as advertised. Although a charge of £49.99 is a little dear - it makes us contemplate purchasing a new product altogether, as sometimes these products (from new don't last as long as they say on the tin!) Might change brand altogether.

I tried a couple impact wrenches and the Keilder Type18 high torque was by far the best. Was the only one that got my seized locking wheel nut off.

Im a mechanic I bought the 700nm 1/2 inch impact gun 2 years ago bearings failed after 2 weeks sent back under warranty they repaired it and sent back it's never had 700nm we tested it on torqued bolts at around 400 that it couldn't shift I have 3/8 air guns with more guts 7 months later it started playing up again it gets used daily in tight spaces so the body and rubber moldings get scratched and lumps taken out I sent it for repair again under the 3 year warranty the told me I had dropped it as the rubber bumpers on the back were chipped and scratched ( it's never been dropped ) they charged me for repair and new shell bearings started being noisey again a week later have persevered with it for months as really can't be bothered sending it back to be charged for a repair on a gun that isn't upto the job would seriously advise any professionals or anyone buying it use daily to avoid spend your money elsewhere milwaukee or makita
