About Karabar

Who are we? It’s a tricky question when people ask who we are. We’d like to give them the same sentence each time: “We are a company that sells low priced luggage, backpacks, handbags, purses and accessories”. Unfortunately by the time we’ve finished, people have usually fallen asleep. Anyway, we’ll give you the shorter version, it’s more poetic: “We’re saving the world from overpriced luggage”. When we’re not saving the world, we’re making sure that everyone who buys from us is left feeling content with their choice. We’re not going to give the whole ‘The customer is always right’ speech, but without our customers we wouldn’t be here, so they’ll always be our priority. Anyway, that’s enough about who we are. To see why you should buy from us, by all means please read on. Why Karabar? It’s as easy as 1, 2, and 3. 1. Great service How do we give a great service? Well, we stock most of the products ourselves, so they’re ready to leave our warehouse straight away. Your order is hand-picked; we haven’t advanced to fancy robots just yet. This allows us to check for any errors, pack it with a barrel of love, place some protective airbags in the box, ready for you to pop and scare people as-and-when. This whole process is usually done on the same day; nothing stops us at Karabar HQ. Not even a mere cold can dampen our work flow. 2. Low prices How on earth are they so low? Simple really, we cut the importer, the wholesaler, the sales reps, and every other person in between so that we can do it ourselves. We even have our own dedicated design team. Not only can we make quality items for less this way, we think it’s only fair that you should pay less too. Because we like to brag about our low prices, we show you what they could have been sold for at recommend retail price. We like to break convention. 3. Outstanding customer support It doesn’t matter if you’re thinking about buying from us, about to buy from us, in the middle of buying from us, or just bought from us, we’re here to help. We know every other company will give you that kind of statement so what else is new? Well for starters we’re open from 9am-5pm every day; you can reach us by live chat, email or phone call between those hours. You can even contact us by post if that’s your thing? If it’s delivered by horseback we’ll probably give you a free item. Guess what else we have? A free-phone number for landlines, none of that 0845 nonsense! Ultimately, we’d like our customers to treat us like friends and vice versa. We’ll try and give you a great experience from online store to door.

Very good, found the product I wanted and delivery was in a few days. Only problem was there was no tracking facility which is provided with many companies.

Having had a issue with a previous case karabar replaced it without fuss and with good communication I feel the after care a company gives you is just as important as the original purchase experience and karabar excels in both departments

Excellent value and great service. I bought 2 new suitcases for a recent trip and they are excellent. I have already used the smaller one for a weekend trip to London moved around very easily and were very robust. Good quality for the price.

Customer Services took my problem in hand, both very willingly and very efficiently.They refunded, through the Hermes Courier Service, the amount I paid for extra weight on their package when I returned the bag.Their was nothing wrong with the bag, as I said before. Loved it . Just too big. They were, apparently, having problems with their telephone line the days I tried to call them email won out in the end. Thank you Karabar Customer Services.

STOP LOOKING, YOU HAVE FOUND IT. I bought the Grantham II Large 76 cm Hard Suitcase Colour Black. I did a lot of research before buying a suitcase. Looking at style - performance, durability and of course price. This case looks cool, moves great with the 4 wheels. And with 10 year garentee for under £40.00 I don't think you could buy a better suitcase for the price.

My relative had chosen a suitcase from this company and this was the first time I had any dealings with them. As the goods were to be delivered to a different address to my own I did make a mistake with post codes. However a quick phone call to the company soon corrected this. I was contacted about delivery and let them know that it had been delivered. The lady I spoke to and the emails were handled in a polite and efficient manner. No complaints.

Very disappointing response by Karabars customer support, within my first week of purchasing/owing a K-BAR-4100 backpack... Me: "So just to clarify; you are advising me that a) Karabar are unable to assist me in rectifying the issue and b) Karabar are advising me that my only course of action is to return the item to the retailer for a refund - is that correct?" Karabars: "Yes, I am afraid you would need to take this matter up with the business you purchased the item from directly." Issue resolved purchasing and replacing the poor-quality para-cord supplied on zips (which broke almost immediately after use), with an in-expensive, high-quality replacement which I fitted myself. Such a shame that Karabars were not prepared to assist at all, as this issue could have been resolved by simply replacing the cord which cost less than £3!! ... not the way to build brand loyalty guys!!

i have bought many of their lightweight rolling tube suitcases. They're called Empress now but there were other similar models before. I love them because you can pack so much and the empress is an improvement on before as it has pockets. You can really beat the Ryanair luggage police with these bags because they're so lightweight. The kilos are only being used for your clothes. Youre at a real disadvantage if your case weighs 5kgs before you start. Meanwhile I did encounter a problem and they absolutely kept to their 3year warranty and all the faulty bags were replaced without quibble. Bravo. Excellent customer service with a real person at the other end who answers the phone. Debbie and Suzanne were beyond helpful. Thanks
