Who are we? It’s a tricky question when people ask who we are. We’d like to give them the same sentence each time: “We are a company that sells low priced luggage, backpacks, handbags, purses and accessories”. Unfortunately by the time we’ve finished, people have usually fallen asleep. Anyway, we’ll give you the shorter version, it’s more poetic: “We’re saving the world from overpriced luggage”. When we’re not saving the world, we’re making sure that everyone who buys from us is left feeling content with their choice. We’re not going to give the whole ‘The customer is always right’ speech, but without our customers we wouldn’t be here, so they’ll always be our priority. Anyway, that’s enough about who we are. To see why you should buy from us, by all means please read on. Why Karabar? It’s as easy as 1, 2, and 3. 1. Great service How do we give a great service? Well, we stock most of the products ourselves, so they’re ready to leave our warehouse straight away. Your order is hand-picked; we haven’t advanced to fancy robots just yet. This allows us to check for any errors, pack it with a barrel of love, place some protective airbags in the box, ready for you to pop and scare people as-and-when. This whole process is usually done on the same day; nothing stops us at Karabar HQ. Not even a mere cold can dampen our work flow. 2. Low prices How on earth are they so low? Simple really, we cut the importer, the wholesaler, the sales reps, and every other person in between so that we can do it ourselves. We even have our own dedicated design team. Not only can we make quality items for less this way, we think it’s only fair that you should pay less too. Because we like to brag about our low prices, we show you what they could have been sold for at recommend retail price. We like to break convention. 3. Outstanding customer support It doesn’t matter if you’re thinking about buying from us, about to buy from us, in the middle of buying from us, or just bought from us, we’re here to help. We know every other company will give you that kind of statement so what else is new? Well for starters we’re open from 9am-5pm every day; you can reach us by live chat, email or phone call between those hours. You can even contact us by post if that’s your thing? If it’s delivered by horseback we’ll probably give you a free item. Guess what else we have? A free-phone number for landlines, none of that 0845 nonsense! Ultimately, we’d like our customers to treat us like friends and vice versa. We’ll try and give you a great experience from online store to door.
I'm afraid I didn't have a good experience with Karabar. I placed my order on Dec 1st. A week had passed since I placed my order and there was no sign of it. I started sending emails. About 10 days after I'd placed the order I emailed again and this time I said my next step was to open a PayPal dispute. I finally got a reply with a tracking number. The tracking number said my order was still with Karabar and hadn't reached the courier yet. The emails I got from Karabar were always courteous and professional but the delay in responding wasn't professional. Eventually, a full two weeks after I placed the order they canceled the order and refunded my money. I had not requested this. I really wanted the case for a Christmas trip. They said my order was lost in transit and they didn't have any stock left. They didn't give me the option to choose a different model. So all in all it wasted two precious pre-christmas shopping weeks and now it's too late to order online elsewhere. I dislike stressful last minute shopping but I'll have to do it now. The reason I am giving them two stars instead of one is because their emails were courteous but it was too little too late. I can't give them 3 stars or above because it just wasn't an adequate experience.
We had some problems with the delivery of the parcel but the staff of Karabar had been amazing (in particular the girl who helped us, Amy!). The product is as shown on the website and it looks very nice. Despite the problems we experieced, everything had been resolved in the best way possible!

First order the bags were too large rang for advice on what to get and they could not have been more helpful and provided excellent product knowledge and advice. No free returns is a little disappointing but other than that will continue to use this company and recommend. Thank you

Great products excellent customer service. Following an order I placed for 4 large wheeled holdalls I found one was drifting apart at the seam. I sent an enquiry along with a photo & got a response within a few hours along with a voucher. Using the voucher to order a new product was easy & I received delivery within a few days. I was kept up to date with e-mails & can find no fault with Karabar. If I could give 6 stars then I would.

DID'NT GET AN UPDATE ON DELIVERY TIME OR DATE
Excellent customer service however, 1 of the 2 suitcases I bought came off the carousel with a split zip on its first ever usage. It wasn't overpacked. This is a manufacturing fault, not damage. The airline had wrapped it in plastic and secured it. I sent photos and offered a video of it being unwrapped to Karabars who quoted their disclaimer for luggage damage at airports or in transit and that I needed to claim from my airline. Would anyone actually read terms and conditions when buying a £20 suitcase off Amazon?? Do they show?? Well I can't be bothered claiming for £20 and I don't believe it's the airline's fault. I'll just buy another.....from somewhere else!!
