We been with just energy going on 12-13 years. We have never had any problems with them. My mom passed away on January 7th 2020. I let them know she passed they needed her death certificate. A few months passed and I asked them what did I need to get the light bill in my name, they told me and I sent it in but they never changed it too my name. I’m currently still with just energy I always paid it on time but I’ve been having some financial difficulties lately and it seems like the bill keep going up and up. I know I haven’t paid it in awhile because I currently don’t have any income I’ve been looking for work but haven’t had any luck my cousin sent in a few payments as well. But the bill keeps going up and up my light bill is $721 bucks right now and it steadily keeps going up

BEWARE! I signed up for Just Energy and the sales rep at Sam's Club had me show him previous bills and told me my bill would go down. My bill went from $84.00 a month to $317.88 in one month. I about had a heart attack. The highest bill I ever had was last August when the heat was similar and it was $212.00. They must work on commission and will say anything to make you switch and feel like you are going to save money. What is even worse is I just got my next bill and is now up to $376.48. Do not go with this company! I could have paid over 6 months of electric bills with the amount I just had to pay for 2 months of electricity with Just Energy! UPDATE: They did call me and apologize. They weren't willing to adjust my bill at all but they said if stayed with them they would give me an even better rate. I explained that I will not stay as a customer when I was lied to in the first place. I was lied to and nothing was done about it so why would I give my business to this company? I don't understand why they would think I would stay when nothing was done about the other high bills. I actually took the time at the store and went over bills with the salesman and he promised me my bills would go down not triple. The right thing to do was to adjust my bill not to offer better savings to stay. Lesson learned and don't go through the headache I just went through.
They applied my payment to the wrong account. Then they charged me a late fee. Yep, you read that right. They made a mistake and then charged me for it. Their customer service is a joke, they tell you whatever they can just to try and get you off the phone and the issue is never fixed.
DO NOT switch to this company as your energy supplier. I just received my first bill with Just Energy as my supplier and it was almost $200 more than my previous bill (from $160 to $330). I even reviewed my most recent bill with the agent who enrolled me and was assured multiple times my bill would NOT increase. The plan I was enrolled in was NOT explain properly and was simply a scam to get my business. I cancelled this company IMMEDIATELY but am stuck with them for another billing cycle until it switches back to my previous supplier (energy harbor), who happens to be a whole lot cheaper and much more honest. Beware of the gimmicks they try to use to get your business. I will post a review everywhere I can so that nobody else gets wrapped into this predatory company and their unethical practices. I will also be filing a complain with the Public Utilities Commission.
I signed up for the free nights plan at sams and it was the best decision I’ve ever made because I was able to cut my bill in half. Haven’t paid over $130 since switching, when with reliant I was paying double. I’d really recommend for everyone to try the free nights plan!!! Especially because delivery charges are all inclusive rather than charging after the energy charges.
This company is horrible! The app is hard to use and will not allow you to pay your bill ahead of time. Customer service? What customer service!? I have called several times to ask about my bill. The last time I called, I said I was going to have to look for a new company. The answer from the rep was I would “not find one with these rates.” Well, he was right about that: I found one with lower rates! I have experienced the same things The other reviews here have shared. I am ashamed SAMs club even allowed this company into their building.
HORRIBLE!!!!! Do not conduct business with these individuals. I had cancelled my service due to the outlandish fees and they continued to bill me for three months, stating the account had to “run its course”. Completely unwarranted and in violation. I will be submitting a formal complaint to the PUC. Run from this company!!!
I signed up with them at Sam’s Club, I was a little skeptical because I had been with reliant for almost 8 years, but recently my rate and bill went up with reliant so I was open to save money. The rep walked me through everything smoothly and I see a difference on my bill, I have the free nights plan which is working out well because of how big my discount is every month!! and finally i don’t have to worry about centerpoint fees!!
BEST RATES IN ALL HOUSTON! If you’re looking for a cheaper rate definitely sign up at Sam’s Club for the free nights promotion, there is a lot of benefits for signing up in store! My last bill was at an average price of 5.96¢ per kWh!! Def recommend switching with Just Energy at Sam’s because outside rates are different!

I HAVE JUST RECEIVED A BILL WITH A CHARGE FROM JUST ENERGY FOR OVER 1100.00 DOLLARS ! IVE TRIED CALL THE 833 NUMBER GIVEN TO ME BY DELMARVA POWER AND IVE BEEN HUNG UP ON 3 TIMES. HOW DO I HAVE A ALMOST 1300 DOLLAR POWER BILL FOR A 2 BEDROOM MOBILE HOME WHICH IS HEATED BY A PELLET STOVE AND COOLED WITH 1 750 WATT AC ? I HAVE A CREDIT SHOWING ON MY BILL FROM DELMARVA IN JANUARY FOR 495 62 CENTS THEN FOR FEBRUARY MY BILL IS 611 AND SOME CHANGE WHY BECAUSE THERE IS AN 1100 DOLLAR CHAGE FROM JUST ENERGY. THEIR CLAMIN TO SAVE YOU MONEY SIGN UP AS WE WERE IN SAMS CLUB THE GUY TOOK MY PHONE AND SCROLLED THROUGH THE TEXT HE HAD SENT ME AND SAID CLICK HERE TO GET 45 DOLLAR SAMS CLUB GIFT CARD. I GOT 25 UP FRONT THEN THE REST WAS SUPPOSED TO COME IN THE MAIL VUT I HAVE YET TO RECEIVE THAT. THIS IS A SCAM DO NOT SIGN UP FOR IT. I can't understand why does this company have so many negative reviews... My experience with this company was cool, because I required a good energy supplie and finally I got it due to this company, its managers and the technologies they daily implement into he development of their company. Of course, some people always wait for something exclusive and beneficial, but there is nothing beneficial in our world. Everything you face you have to pay, you pay for quality, you pay for good technologies and so on. I personally had no issues with this company and I am glad that once I have applied to it.
Very bad service ever i never recommended anyone i have getting bill every time even through i quited since January.I always call to customer service to solve this problem never get helped.

They post sales Reps at Sam's clubs and other venues and market (at least for Sams) getting a free gift card if you take back your right to choose energy services from your provider . Then ask for your number to send you a DocuSign, at which when you load it up you get told 'just click through that it's just confirming you are 18 to receive the gift card'. Luckily, I know to pause and read and if you read you will see the very high potential cost your bill will be and that it is a 3 year contract. Their Reps 100% lie to you about what they want you to sign . This company needs a class action brought against it in my opinion.
Do not use this company. I signed up with a capped rate of $7.90 and the first month I used their service I was charged $8.52 per MCF. At that time Consumers Energy's rate was $3.69 per MCF. I was told by JE that their rates were comparable to Consumers Energy. JE tells a good story but isn't honest about what you're actually getting.
This company is a joke DO NOT OPEN AN ACCOUNT WITH THEM for 15 days they are charging 196.08 I don’t even pay that for an entire month with my previous one I changed back because the door to door representative lied to me to begin with about switching my company I clearly asked him and he said no smh learned from my mistake never again run from this company it’s honestly the worst
