If I could give 0 stars I would. They tell you the savings with them would be great. However, your monthly bill has doubled and you’re trying to figure out why. It’s due then charging you more than your current company BGE. Today they are still in Sam’s club telling this same lie. Sam’s Club should do better when vetting companies to come in their building to sell their products/services.

They have door to door salesmen and they created an account without my father's consent. We never switched so we should not pay if we still have our provider. According to my father the salesman asked to see current bill and use his phone to create an account using the email on phone which he doesn't use. My father told him will not switch but will think about it but the guy still made the account.

This is the worst energy company I’ve ever had the displeasure of being associated with. I am contacting the PUC here in Texas with my complaints. From day one four months ago they have been nothing but problems for me and it seems that even though the phone number shows to be from Houston I never get anybody that can speak proper English. I’m dumping this company and hope no one will consider associating their billing for energy through them. If I was able to give zero stars that’s all they deserve.

I was lied to at Sam's Club from the Just Energy Rep! I was told like everyone else how good the free nights program was and I showed him my TXU bill and he said I was going to save so much money... After receiving my first bill for only a half a month and it was higher than my entire month with TXU. So Around 2x higher to be exact! I then called in and complained about it and was told they would call me back with a resolution. Before I knew I had my next bill in and guess what it wasn't even a month and 2x as much. I then spent multiple hours of my life that I won't get back trying to resolve this. I went ahead and changed company's before I received another bill from them. I then received a letter from a collections company! So they sold my account instead of helping me. I'm now on my 3rd hour with Sam's Customer service and somehow keep getting disconnected when transferring me??

This is a bogus company. No way would I ever recommend this company for energy. They scammed my wife and me into dumping our company for energy because they promised lower rates. We literally kept from doing our laundry during the day to save and still received a bill way higher than what we are used to. They hooked us at the local Sams, don’t let them get you too. Trust me you’ll be sorry. Based on the recent reviews, it doesn’t seem like we are the only ones.

Thank you all for writing your negative experiences with Just Energy. I have been comparing rates and Just Energy excludes the rates they charge on their bill breakdown. Additional charges are listed on the Energy Facts Label, I almost missed the extra expense. Thank you for leading me away from this company.

This company is scam. I wish I knew before signing up,they came on me at the Sam's club and lied that my bill will go down. Unfortunately I received ×2 and half from what I use to from bge. I called and they try to lock me into another rate. Which is a very small difference and dont make sense. They also refused to give me the Sam's club gift card and they wanted me to stay with them for 90 days for them to keep charging me this exorbitant amount. Do not sign up with them.

I looked at my bill today it says I owe $206.19 yet when I pull up the bill my balance is $102.00 I’m being charged for a previous account with no record of the account or bill. I’ll be reaching out to the better business bureau since there is nothing in my contract that states balances are transferred from one account to another. They have transferred an amount to my account without any notification whatsoever, nor does it state in my contract that this is the process nor was there any bill sent showing the transfer. I’ll also be filing a complaint with the financial consumer protection bureau.

People who go door to door to sell their services are very rude. When I told them to leave and that I was NOT interested, they got very rude and vocal. Had to call the police on them. Obviously, they have the Wrong People working for them. BAD COMPANY BUSINESS TO ACT THIS WAY. Let me clarify I’m NOT a customer Nor do I use them or their service!

I signed up at Sams club. This is only me third bill and it has been ridiculous high especially because the house I have service with them is in Laredo and I’m in San Antonio. I go once a month maybe two and sometimes I dint go until 2 months later. I switched with them cause they promise it will be less than 100.00 since I wasn’t even at the house 24/7. I just have one tv and nothing else. My bill this month was $304.00 verses last months $255.00 which is still ridiculous high!!!!. This company is a bunch of lies just don’t sign up with them at all. I called customer service and their response to fix the problem actually their problem was for me to disconnect the only tv I have there!!!! My daughters family is 5 in total and they have 4 tvs and washer and dryer and a bunch more electronics plus all the ironing they do everyday. Their bill this month was $289.55 same company. How can you explain that!!!!!!!! Will definitely move ASAP from this company.

I realy liked the perks..They stopped that and now they do say they have perks so you can get reward cards. Why can't I find that link anywhere? In search it sayd log in. I did and it takes me to my bill with no option to rewards.. On a different link I found a page that will not open ..cloud error. Whats going on with that?.. Hot summer in texas and freaking high bills . i am not a new customer either been with them for years

You took advantage of my elder mother who is on disability, then jacked up her bill to such a ridiculous amount!!! Then when they disconnected her electricity in the heat they told her wrong info! I'm going to parrot the rest of these people here and say shame on you all! Edit : After trying to get the over $900 bill worked out, it is now almost October and the bill is over $1000! We will be attempting to file a civil lawsuit!

I can tell you that the sales process is really pushy and based on lies. The salesperson knew in advance that I was moving out prior to the 12 months, so he assured me that it was ok as long as, the company could not service the area I was moving to. He offered me in march 2022 to pay the early cancelation fee of the other company ($149 USD) in a reimbursement format, plus no cancellation fee at the end. After the conversation, I did everything they told me and they even send an email telling me that this “cancellation fee reimbursement” will be charged in my last statement. I called back and customer support assured me(again) that the reimbursement will not be charged at any moment. After I moved (just as I told them in advance) they charged me the $149 USD, after calling back we settle 75 USD less on this fee (so thanks to Amita), however, I feel the responsibility to tell you that if you want to do business with them be very careful with the small letters on their sales process, don’t trust anything they’re telling you unless you can have that in a formal email or somewhere. I end up paying $75 USD for being a fool and trusting the other end of the line. As for the electricity bill, they help me to pay a little less every month, and I didn’t have any other problem with them. That is why I'm not giving them 1 star, however, any good service they provided for me was overtaken by the unethical sales process.

I signed up at Sams Club. The Just Energy rep lied about the current electric rate from BGE, stating it was $0.32 per KWH and that my bill would go down. BGE only charges $.0782 per KWH. COMPLETE SCAM, RUN AWAY FROM Just Energy Update: Lilly L from Just Energy social media sent me generic response that they are trying to reach me (another lie), and she included a number to call for assistance. It is the number to the main line, and no one answers the phone.

This company is shady AF. I called ohio edison to see why my bill was so high never been $124 and last year it was only $43 and they said just energy charged me $89.00. I signed up at Sam's club and the shady reps lied and said it makes your bill lower and u save money. They said nothing about the 89.99 per month smh. Called customer service and refusing to delete the charge despite telling them not all the correct information was presented. I would have never signed up. I immediately canceled but now stuck with the bill smh. These reps are trying to get paid and credit by lying about the company. Be aware. Tell them to screw off if a rep tries to talk to you smh. Thank say I have to wait 10 days for a gift card. Stay away from this shady a$$ company

Sam's Club rep didn't tell me about $69.99 threshold fee if I went over 700kw per month (I do that every month). Ended up paying $60+ every month. Should have stayed with Energy Harbor. Shady company. Stay away!!!

I was paying 11 cents for kwh With my current company before their salesman approached me at Sam's club and promised me that I would pay away less than that which I found surprising given I was paying a low rate... Then he went on and showed me other people's bills and how they were able to lower their bills by showing me screenshots... I tell you folks these salesmen will do anything their liars full of sh## don't trust the right now I am stuck with a contract and pay in double what I used to pay.

I signed up at Sam’s Club, I was skeptical at first but definitely made the rep work for it. Rep was kind enough to read over the whole contract & made sure I had an understanding of everything before signing. I’ve had Just Energy for the past 4 summer months and can definitely say I’m saving much more money since being with Reliant. Signing up for the free nights plan has been the best decision because there is no additional TDU delivery charges, which was one of the main reasons my bill was so high with Reliant. If I’m seeing savings in Texas’ hottest months, I can’t wait until the winter time! Not only am I saving on my electricity bill but also received Gift cards from them!
