The website was very easy to negotiate including registering for online access.

Obviously no one wants to pay a maintenance charge but buying a new build we knew what we were getting in to. Had a site meeting with Nick Upton who was very helpful and advised us to check if we could get a rebate due to the SUD on site. Having contacted the water company I have now received a rebate of nearly £400 which is great especially considering the water company knew nothing about the SUD until I called. Thanks.

Service level improved a lot in the last few years on our state in Huddersfield. It was shocking when we moved in back in 2011. Not anymore.

Today we received a letter from Greenbelt saying our account has been passed to their Debt Recovery Unit. The reason? Because we dared to query their bill. We query it every year and they never give an explanation as to why we are charged a share which is different to what’s stated in the title deeds. And, oh, they don’t explain why they charge for work they don’t actually do, either. I phoned them earlier this year. They said they would look into things. Their simple debt recovery letter received today, months later, is their single response. As usual, adding penalty charges for non-payment of an invoice that has been queried. Cowboys. I do feel sorry for all here where Greenbelt has just taken over. They need shutting down and a Watchdog special.

Massively over price maintenance services. Not seen 1 person doing maintenance since I moved in 5 years ago. Price started at £28.00 per year with Bellway, raised to £150.00 per year with greenbelt.

This review is for the one of the sporadic Greenbelt maintenance visits to my estate. Two workers arrived at 8.55am and enjoyed a quiet period of sitting in their van doing nothing. This was followed by around 35 mins of using a leaf blower on the pavements - helpfully blowing any debris from the pavement into the road before departing. One of these routine visits costs around £174 to the street and the annual cost has increased by 60%. This is not value for money, this is a scam. Meanwhile the fences which were blow down in February remain in the car park, obstructing access to spaces and there are dangerous sections of collapsed concrete.

I've had an ongoing dispute with Greenbelt for a few years that will hopefully get sorted very soon. This review isn't about Greenbelt as a company it is about Julie Hughes from customer services who helped me out today. She was excellent and is an asset to Greenbelt.

Very easy process

Communication initially has been a little challenging due to my first yearly statement being in the previous owners details and it taking 2 months to rectify. The green spaces themselves within the estate look excellent and much improved on their competitors from previous places I have lived.

Registering with Greenbelt was very simple. But oh, the hassle of getting a Paypal account so that I could actually pay !!!!!!!!

Charging thousands of pounds from the estate to maintain a small patch of grass the size of a large lawn, and then saying they will have to charge more has children dare to play on the grass. Sooner this scummy company's business model is banned the better

Disgraceful company. Prices increased by over 65% this year and were already very high for the very little work they do. On inspection of the bill for this year and justification for the hike in price, it seems a copy and paste job from last year, but with the figures multiplied. They also detail £400 for “woodland inspection”, but we have no woodland?! Greenbelt you should be ashamed of yourselves, especially in the current cost of living crisis. Charging extortionate fees for shoddy or non existent work.

Rates increased year on year and work decreased. Broken trees took ages to replace, grass not cut often enough and us residents are stuck having to pay gor the terrible service to boot!

Very poor company Western Gate development Dorset I have been a Greenbelt customer since 2008. Very poor company. Massively overcharged our estate over the last few years. They have thought of new ways to charge us lately. They appear to have copied and pasted the same bill from last year to this with exactly the same charges and then added £235 random extra charge with no breakdown. They say the bill is correct but it is clearly not. And it has risen from £240 to £407. They have said to a resident that they can charge what they like. Sheer arrogance of the.. Don't buy a new house as you will be locked into a 'fleeceholder' contract and then have problems selling as you need their permission to sell.

Had to pay a late fee due to not reading the first letter. No reminder letter, cheap service and quality of the area they care for is low
