While shopping the internet for a Mitotoyo 500-196-30 Digimatic caliper, I encountered many similar calipers that appeared to be clones. After some added research I found out my suspicions were accurate. Global Test Supply had the caliper I wanted at an attractive price. Upon arrival, the Caliper was all I had expected, and that was 'not a clone'. It passed all the original equipment tests and I am a happy camper. The smoothness of operation will expose any clone. The caliper arrived quickly, packaged well, and in excellent condition. I will be using the caliper in my rifle reloading hobby. Purchase only from reputable suppliers. Unit was not direct fit. Had to modify attachment to secure to iron. Completed, wired, check ok - gets hot -- better than before .
