Buying such an expensive piece of kit like a laptop can be worrying especially buying an used one that’s been refurbished. But, let me re assure you, there’s no need to worry. My order, to my spec arrived within 7 working days. The case was a 12 year old Toshiba but, with the smart carbon fibre style wrap, you wouldn’t notice. ( I only realised when I looked on the underside of the machine) Everything was spot on. Some freebie loaded software for word, excel etc was a bonus at no extra expense of buying a well known expensive software suite. The machine is lightning fast, was easy to link existing e mails and even the printer. Buy with confidence. You won’t be disappointed.
Excellent service, cost and workmanship. Laptop arrived in five days or so, very well packaged and booted up immediately with no issues. Grade A in appearance and functionality. Added accounts and Wi-Fi etc which was also easy to set up. Case was wrapped in a protective film for added durability-didn’t ask for it expect this- bonus ! Fantastic-will be back !!

If you're going to change the power supply that came with the laptop, can you at least include a power lead? I'm now the proud owner of a £350 ornamental laptop with a dead battery which I cannot charge because you have replaced the standard HP Probook PSU with one with a non-standard barrel design, didn't include the correct lead, and then shut your phone lines off.
My last laptop was an HP from one of the big chains - couldn't find one with a memory big enough nor with a CD drive, and when it came it was plastic rubbish. Then I find these guys where you can specify exactly what you need - brand name irrelevant. I had it within the week and it does everything I need it to do, and moving my files across was the easiest thing ever - all for less than £400. An absolutely fantastic experience, I can't believe how good this service is!

I am also very much in favour of the recycled nature of the product. The buying process was simple and the laptop arrived well packaged and as fast and efficient as promised. I was looking for a cheap reconditioned laptop for work purposes and heard a lot of positive comments about the Gadget Centre. Gave them a try and I'm really pleased. Love it. Mine came out at just over £250. I've purchased laptops new for that price before, but they are always lacking and slow. This one is nice and fast, and I love the idea we are recycling something that would have been much slower before, and less useful
