Received my refurbished laptop nearly two weeks ago, to say I am absolutely delighted would be an understatement. The laptop arrived securely packaged and on unpacking looked brand-new. All the specs that I had asked for were installed. The start-up is the fastest I've ever experienced. These guys do an amazing job and I would highly recommend them. Would really recommend this company. When I needed a new laptop, i worked out a spec of what I needed and it was going to cost £800-1000 new. I was able to spec exactly what I wanted with Gadget Centre and it came to £350! With a 2 year warranty as well. Laptop has a nice clean outer (from an HP) which was carbon wrapped and looks good as new. It's fast and has everything I need. It came with Libre Office software installed and booted up straight away.

I saw Gadget Centre's Facebook adverts and was impressed with apparent ethics of this new company. I've been in the electronics repair industry since 1986 and in recent years have been in despair about the throw away society we have generally become, so it was so refreshing to see a company refurbishing and upgrading nearly new laptops at a cost well below new ones. After some research looking at different online reviews, I decided to place an order for a top spec laptop, not knowing which make it would be. The website indicated it would be shipped in 2-3 working days but after 5 working days, it still had not been shipped. I guessed this was due to the Facebook adverts resulting in more orders than they had expected. I sent an email to enquire when my order would be despatched but I didn't get a reply for a few days, which was slightly concerning, however on the Monday morning I got an email to say my order had been despatched. I also got a reply from them apologising for lack of reply, due to a technical glitch. I did see a few people on forums saying they had done the same as me and inferring that the company was bad because they didn't respond immediately, which I think is a bit harsh. Gadget Centre are doing a good thing and from my experience, they deserve to do well. If you want a laptop and don't want to pay over the top, GIVE THEM A GO!

Ok honest review. Firstly the most important thing we all want is a good product and my son is very happy with the laptop. We went for a high spec and he only received it yesterday but the laptop seems very fast and it is exactly what I ordered and looks good as well. Why only 3 stars? Well I'm not in a position to lose £400 and when you order from a new company and no one answers a phone and after a week from ordering you hear nothing it gets worrying. Under staffed or not you answer phone calls or instantly reply to emails. Now I'm worried it I get a problem how long it will take to get the laptop sorted. Fingers crossed customer service improves. The product was good value though we are happy with the laptop.

Been waiting for over a week on a laptop I purchased. I have contacted them with no response, not a very good company will be looking for a refund . Update on my review the company got back to me to and once sorted they proceeded to help me very quickly.

Very happy with my purchase so far. The spec of the computer for the price paid is amazing. Updating and reusing old laptops is obviously good for the environment. The unit has a coating on it that makes it look brand new. Great communications and warranty. Highly recommended.

Amazing service. I needed a laptop with decent / good performance and a CD/DVD drive - which is no longer available on new products. I ordered a laptop with max features and requested in a note that it should have an optical drive. I received it just a few days later exactly to my specifications, and it exceeded my most optimistic expectations! Great packaging, care for details and good communication as well. I couldn't recommend these guys more.

I received delivery of my laptop, Friday 21 July. I am unsatisfied with the order and require your help to replace or refund the device. I've emailed the following, Saturday, 22 July and have yet to receive a reply: The laptop's inbuilt graphics card and display are insufficient for the graphic design I selected at the point of order. Not compatible with Windows 11. This is a concern for me as you have installed Windows 11 onto a device with a 7th Gen I7 processor. While it is possible to do this, any updates issued by Windows run the risk of crashing the system. The minimum generation possible for a Windows 11 install is a 10th gen processor. More detail on my concerns. The case is cracked in the button left-hand corner of the SC slot Looking at the Device Manager, Code 43 error on the Intel Smart Sound Technology (Intel(R) SST) OED - This driver is necessary for the proper functioning of your audio system. The laptop display viewing angles are poor, and the screen displays strong blue hues, unsuitable for use with Adobe Photoshop and InDesign (as identified in my original order). The device comes installed with a 7th gen I7 processor. As Windows 10 support comes to an end in two years, the only sensible option is to ensure that your device is future-proofed to at least Windows 11. The device has an i7-7600U 2.8GHz. This is not compatible with Windows 11; the processor is not on Microsofts supported processor list. Overall I’m disappointed that you are even attempting to sell to 7th-generation processors with Windows 11 installed. The chips aren’t compatible and are prone to crashes which will inevitably become more commonplace with further update iterations. Reverting back to Windows 10 is not an option as Microsoft support for this OS ends in under two years' time.

Very easy ordering, can pick and choose what you want and the bet part is the price! Superb value for money. 2nd laptop for us and excellent customer service.

If you're looking for a new laptop I highly recommended this company. I have a new laptop ( refurbished) with all the latest hardware and top specs at a much lower cost than a brand new one, I've also got a comprehensive 3 year warranty! Good service from point of order to delivery and the packaging was excellent. Highly recommend.

Great little start up supplying refurbished and fully tested laptops of all specifications. Order process is easy, as it's a tick box exercise. Decide what spec you want and your warranty (1-3 years) pay and they build and deliver to your door. I bought an HP EliteBook and it is perfect, not a scratch and with a top spec. You can advise them what you use your laptop for and they will even test the software for you. Delivery was 5 days and the laptop came in a secure and very well padded box, so no issues there. I needed an additional part and that was sent to me next day free of charge. A very good service and easy to deal with. Contact is not as easy as it could be, but as they point out it's a very busy little company, so be patient and any concerns are resolved for you. I would recommend them with no concerns.

Gadget Centre could not have performed better. Laptop ordered came quickly - performance is great, I had one minor issue that was resolved via e-mail with excellent response. Could not be happier and would not hesitate to reccomend.

Really nice friendly and very professional people In the first instance I would like to buy a new laptop but was quite expensive so I search in Internet and I find Gadget Centre so finally I decided to buy a refurbished one with the same configuration what I needed I am really happy because I got a laptop which was over my expectations for a very good price working very well it is exactly what I needed Thank you guys
