Ordered an i7 16Gb RAM 500Gb SDD machine 13th Jan, delivered 29th Jan. Realised they can't cope with customer response AND building laptops and was prepared to wait a while. Great kit well presented and with 2 yr warranty. Performs to spec completely. This specification new would exceed £1000 so at 60% off ??? Well worth it so far.

I Received my laptop today after waiting a few weeks, the power pack had electrical tape around the wire at the laptop end, the actual wire was completely split open, this should of never been sent out. I emailed them immediately as no one ever answers the phone. This is extremely poor especially as the business had rave reviews 6months ago, but reading more recent reviews seem to be failing in all aspects. Update. I Received any apology and I requested a full refund. The refund was issues on receipt of the returned device and went straight back to my account. Please don't over look this company if you require a cheaper laptop as I'm sure the recent issues are just a slight bump in the road.

Purchased the laptop in late November for my son's Christmas present. It has broken, I have had the same issues regarding the phone line not working, sent a series of emails and was told that it would be ready to be returned early this week. I contacted them regarding how it will be returned and have not heard back. This whole process has taken since the 6th of January and still no sign of it being returned. Rather worrying.

An excellent service, I have a custom laptop that looks almost brand new. I have used other companies in the past to purchase refurbished IT equipment, but they don't even come close to the quality of Gadget Centre. I would recommend them to anyone.

Absolutely fantastic, the option to design your laptop really adds value for me. I've essentially purchased a refurbished laptop that works just as well as something brand new that would have cost me between £600-£700 with the specifications I've wanted and has instead only cost £379.99. I've had the laptop for a couple of months, no issues what so ever. The only thing that might put somebody off is that you can't pick the laptop casing but that was irrelevant for me as the hardware and functionality aspect is more important, I am very happy with the aesthetics' though.

Good laptop but with faulty battery which was replaced. Now the screen has gone but so has the customer service. No one answers the phone and only automated email response. So probably best to avoid.

UPDATE 19.02.14 Laptop has been returned and is in full working order, thanks. The product is good and the warranty is worthwhile. The only issue is with the speed of responses from their customer services, which I'm pleased to see they intend to address. 19.01.24 The product I received was very good.....but have been waiting for seven days for a response regarding the laptop failing to operate correctly. I purchased the laptop with a three year guarantee which was an additional cost. I have sent three emails with nothing in response other than a request number, they claim fast online response but state a reply within two to three working days. So far I'm day five but nothing has been forthcoming. UPDATE Another week on and other than being asked for further information on the issue which they got five days ago no further forward. Two responses apologising for the slow response to emails (no way to contact by phone!) with today's saying they will be in touch regarding problem by end of play next Monday! UPDATE I was eventually contacted by a member if the support team and was advised that the laptop was to be returned, a pre paid return label was supplied which is great. I had replaced the battery with a genuine article so once it had been returned contacted them to ensure if the laptop was to be returned rather than replaced it would come back with the same battery. So far haven't had a reply regarding that but also they've had the laptop since Thursday and I've still had no update as to what is happening with regards the failure. I was assured by Joao | Senior Support Admin & Director that he would be taken control of my issues, I'm afraid to say if you expect any sort of quick response or resolution I think you'll be very disappointed. Be warned.

Recently bought a laptop from this company - very impressed with the build quality, it performs perfectly, was packaged really well too. Only slight niggle was the wrong charging cable, which they replaced within a matter of days. Very happy to recommend Gadget Centre.

Seems to be a great laptop for a fraction of new price. Perfect for my lads school work, basic gaming and watching movies 😁

My son wanted his first gaming laptop so we approached the gadget centre and they were so helpful with plenty of advice for the kind of spec he would need to play the games he likes. They were very fast to respond to any queries and they cost alot less than buying from a mainstream computer company. I would highly recommend getting a laptop from them for any use.

Ordered a laptop from here 10 days ago. The site said 2 days delivery. They do not answer the phone, or respond to my emails. Now in contact with Pay Pay to try and resolve this and get my money back. No service from them whatsoever.
