Fantastic service from this company. My husband ordered a replacement motor for our old log splitter but realised when it arrived that it wasn’t suitable. I contacted the company to ask if we could order a new log splitter and have the motor collected when they delivered the new log splitter. Not a problem. New log splitter arrived as promised and uplifted the motor at the same time. Friendly and speedy service. The new log splitter works like a dream. Much better than our old one.
Excellent product & service.
Excellent piece of equipment. Just a minor criticism. We were sent the wrong stand which needed two phone calls and a week’s wait to be rectified. All good now however and working as well,or better, than hoped.
First some minor negatives. The courier service was poor, unexplained delays twice and both outer carboard boxes split on arrival. The contents were undamaged thankfully. The assembly instructions and operators manual did not cover the electric start model I bought. One cable had come adrift from its connector which prevented me starting the machine until I spotted and reconnected it. It was impossible to avoid damaging the black rubber cover when removing it for access to the drum turning bolt to ensure free movement. All these are outweighed by the positives. Mark sorted out the courier. The website solved the electric start assembly. The machine is (in my opinion) very well built and engineered. Assembly was simplicity itself and the instructions were comprehensive (except as noted above). The machine has started with one key flick every time and has easily coped with shredding 100 metres of hawthorn hedge trimmings, some stems close to 2 inches, some smaller and much of it leafy and sometimes wetter than it should be. The shredded material is finely cut, and can be expelled some distance from the discharge chute by adjusting the outlet flap if required. So far there has been no jamming, even though it might have been expected due to the sometimes damp trimmings. The machine is rock solid stable and surprisingly quiet in operation. It is easy to move around the garden on its wide wheels. As others have done, I removed the plate in the feeder hopper which enables larger quantities of fine clippings to be fed through (with great care!) We have a large garden, 1.2 acres with long hedges and lots of shredding/chipping to do and i am delighted with this machine. I have not had it long enough to comment on longevity, but considering its design and build quality I would expect it to last well with proper care. Based on my use so far, I can recommend it unreservedly for heavy domestic use.

From purchase to delivery my Forest Master experience has been excellent. On unpacking I could tell my new log splitter was highly engineered and of excellent quality. Assembly was relatively straightforward. I’m really pleased I purchased the stand. It’s very robust, aids use of the log splitter and makes moving the machine around a simple if not strenuous process. Using the machine for the first time was an amazing experience. The power, speed and use of the ram stop made light work of the mound of timber I had waiting. Within no time, the wood was split and tidied away. I’m more than pleased with this machine. It was at the top end of my budget, however, having seen and now used the log splitter I know I have made a prudent and wise investment.

Ordered 2 replacement wheels for my log splitter, they arrived very quickly & a pack of face masks were sent foc. A small point the wheels are pictured with “hub caps” but didn’t come with the wheels.

Ordered 4HP compact electric wood chipper in afternoon, arrived following morning. Weight of the two boxes told me I had bought a substantial machine. Easy to read instructions made assembly simple. Put on protective glasses and ear defenders, lifted big red button panel, and pushed green button. No noise - just a smooth humming whirring. Then wow, it eats branches and foliage like a hungry tiger, condensing a large heap of cuttings to a bag of chippings. I always prefer to buy something metal instead of plastic, this beauty proved me right.
