I ordered three Malaysian recipe boxes to try. The Cookaway has proved to have excellent quality meat and prawns, wonderfully packaged items including sauces and oil included presented beautifully. Wonderful flavours. Easy to follow recipes. I’d highly recommend

Delicious meat and quality ingredients. Some ingredients included that didn't seem to be relevant eg eggs. Nothing missing though.
Didn't receive my crispy shreaded beef only 2 boxes of various things which I didn't order
So far all recipe kits ordered by me have been from the Cookaway gluten free range. The reason being that my wife is coeliac. The recipes are detailed and comprehensive and, as a novice chef/cook, I've sometimes found the preparation to be challenging but at all times very enjoyable. Everything is done from "scratch" including making up the sauces/pastes and I've learned plenty from the experiences. I've tried 6 recipes so far and all have been excellent. I would like more gluten free options to be made available though. The ingredients are all top quality and the packaging is first rate as is the delivery service. Very good easy to use website. Very good quality products and well presented/packaged. Easy to follow recipes. The dishes came out as in the pictures and tasted excellent. It was enjoyable but did seem rather rather time consuming by the time I sorted out the various items for the different dishes so concluded would eat out in an Indian restaurant in future. Marked it down one star as the delivery company sent incorrect delivery information (but don’t believe this was anything to do with The Cookaway).
The delivery of the Cookaway box was as scheduled, the food contents were of high quality and prepping the gourmet meal was easy to understand. My wife and I enjoyed cooking and eating a delicious Valentines sharing meal of fine restaurant standard!
Brilliant - really tasty food, clear recipe guidance. There were problems with the delivery (not the fault of The Cookaway I hasten to add) - and Janiel sorted these promptly and efficiently, and with excellent communication. Definitely use again.
The meal was fabulous!! We have spent a lot of time in Athens and the Souvlaki was spot on!!
I recently tried the Greek Mezze experience from The Cookaway. I loved everything about this recipe box. It’s such a nice treat for a special occasion. Everything was packaged so well, right down to little bottles of oil and vinegar. The recipes themselves were amazing and all tastes as good as when I’ve had them in Greece. I loved the extra little touches like the Greece themed paper place mats and little Greek flags. Can’t wait to try a different cuisine next!
food was fresh, even though left in the corner of front entrance before the driver of the second delivery of dry ingrediants pointed it out. Wings not the best quality. had to de vein some prawns. Sesame oil amount overpowered the fried rice dish. no need for two dishes containing egg. chicken powder was missing. Overall it was ok but might need some more testing on flavours, there seemed too much soya sauce amounts for the recipes became to salty at times.
Complicated with lots of different spices not sure whether I would cook again. Did not think the lamb dish was that amazing.
Wonderful experience. Just amazing taste. Great quality products. Beautifully packaged. Generous accompaniments. Fun activity to do together as well.

Super fresh ingredients…beautifully packaged. We cooked the Tapas box for Valentine’s Day and loved it 😊 The recipes were easy to follow and the portions were massive! The result was like it was cooked at a restaurant! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 from us!
I ordered the Yondu Ramen set and it was fantastic! I'd never made ramen from scratch before (although I opted for the ready-made noodles, didn't want to stretch myself too far!), and it was delicious! The ingredients were packaged beautifully, and the bottle of Yondu was full-sized, so I've been using that to liven up my veg dishes since. The whole experience was really great, I enjoyed making the dish, learning a new thing and, ultimately, eating the delish dinner!
Had an absolute pleasure cooking the Yondu x The Cookaway Vegetarian Ramen Kit – such a labour of love to create a more-ish broth and ramen. Thoroughly enjoyed learning new techniques from Reiko Hashimoto and to have a delicious dish at the end was an added bonus!
Used Cookaway a number of times. The food was beautiful and ingredients were excellent, my favourite meal was as the Prawn kritharoto. The cook along on line was great fun with great tips from Irini Tzortzoglou Excellent valve for money, will definitely be using The Cookaway again in the future
Easy to navigate website. Great ingredients. Well packaged. Delivered on time. Cookalongs are really fun and informative. Goan Prawn Curry is my favourite so far.
