Quality food

Overpriced hello fresh. The ingredients are bog standard supermarket products. Recipe description does not match pictures. Pictures need better description. Save yourself time and money and purchase decent ingredients elsewhere and watch a YouTube video.

Food was in good condition in its delivery box. All tasted great, but I thought the meat portion was smaller than expected based on the pictures on the website.

The meat was delicious, top quality and the recipe card for it was perfect. I particularly liked all the glass bottles and how well packed the ingredients were. My only criticism would be that as there are 3 elements to the meal it would have helped to have had a step by step guide on which things to do first rather than 3 separate recipe cards which gave instructions on each element instead of the meal as a whole. I understand this is something that is being addressed by the company so should not be an issue in the future. Overall it was a lovely experience and I’m very much looking forward to my future boxes.

All the ingredients were labelled well and the recipe cards were very clear. Food was really good quality and end result was delicious. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

This really caught us off guard... The day before, we tried a rival pasta meal kit which was pretty simple to put together... fry this, boil that, stir in the sauce, add the cheese, heat the bread up... Eat. This Pork Souvlaki for four, with an extra Griddled Manouri Salad, took my wife and I almost two hours to put together after opening the box. Very detailed instructions and you make absolutely everything from scratch. We're good cooks and cook from fresh ingredients often - but were not expecting quite this level of involvement. That said, the food was great and there was WAY too much food for four of us to eat. Give yourselves plenty of time to prepare everything and enjoy a delicious meal!

Fun time cooking with clear instructions and first class ingredients.

I was going to be delivered between 5-6pm which is late for perishables, then that slipped to 7pm then it slipped to 9pm! So we went out for food as we had been planning to have the meal on Friday night, then I get a message to say it’s been delivered at 730. Then we get home and find the box not secure, the frozen items defrosted and at 8 degrees. Such a shame as care and thought has been considerable in putting this little lot together. Cookaway have yet to respond but during the day blamed the delivery company and said I should have selected the pre noon delivery at £5 extra. I suppose in my naivety I would reasonable expect perishables to be delivered in good order and in a timely manner. Obviously not and my expectations are perhaps unrealistic? We will have to see

What a treat! Very easy to put together and absolutely delicious. We'll definitely be coming back for more!
