Big thanks for the excellent service my mother in law has received over the past 12 months. Her carer is always engaging and gives her his full attention and care. Having the same carer is very reassuring and has been very punctual.

We are very happy with the service we have received from Cera. I think we can all appreciate that care in the U.K is on its arse and has been for some time so It's only right I praise Cera for the standard of care we have received thus far. We have had a mixed bag of carers so far, some good, some poor, such is the nature of care from our experience. The staff seem to be competent enough under what I imagine to be a very stressful job and we find the app helpful and easy to use.

Cera Carers (Halton) on the whole are excellent as mum seems to have the same carers throughout the week and they go above and beyond. Only a handful are not so great - mum has dementia so unable to make food and drink and on one particular occasion not usual carer arrived mum said she'd eaten when she hadn't, carer left was in the property for a minute if that and left my 84 year old mum with no food or drink and it was a freezing day with lots of snow. Did report to Cera, unfortunately not had anything back from them. On the whole Carers are excellent ashame that on this occasion my mum was let down.

I am very happy with the service that I receive from CERA. The last 3 days we have had heavy snow during the night and my carer has always turned up albeit a few minutes late carers have always been very kind and caring to me and cannot praise them enough An excellent service in my opinion. I live in Runcorn

Initially things went well with mom having the same carer for two months at a time. They arrived between nine and ten every day. The past six weeks have been horrendous with different carers every day. Some arriving as late as eleven fifteen. This is a service mom is paying for and I expect better for her. The office staff are friendly and apologetic when I phone but I’m thinking of finding an agent who is reliable.

Update; Thank you for your response. Can you ask the management to call me, please? ——- Shocking, despicable behaviour by Cera “Care”. Managers lying to clients, trying to pocket the double pay for Christmas Day, by changing 1 hr and 45 mins visit to monday, so that the office management will pocket the extra money! Also, today I called to cancel the Friday visit, but instead of paying carer, they just took the carers name off. Carers name for Friday L Smith, if you cannot find the carers details, let me know. But no fret, everything is documented by myself. If any management wish, they can call me.

Just wanted to express a very big thank you to Semi care particularly Wani who helped my mum in the early days of losing her dog and also Maria who I spent a few days with and observed what a special carer she was. So sad they had to leave my mum . Thank you again from son and daughter.

My mother has been with this company for a few years now and I have absolutely nothing good to say about them, they don’t do a lot when they are here, that’s if they even turn up, and when they do turn up it’s not till 1/2pm in the afternoon, I find them very difficult to work with, they have no respect for clients, and the staff do nothing but moan about the job and their boss, sounds like a horrible company to work for and I can definitely say do not use this company to help care for loved ones as they do not help and they do not care !!!

All the carers that I've ever had have been polite, courteous, funny, kind very, very helpful and the work they did with my leg has saved it. Nothing is too much for these mainly girls. They come in my house wash and put my straps back on my leg. They make me drink and ensure that I am safe which is a big issue for me. The new office staff are great they've always helped me out anytime and I need any help. They're remarkably kind and helpful. Anytime I have rang them up to ask for help they are there. It's nice to know that somebody on the end of the phone to help. I know because I used to work for the NHS how difficult it is to keep appointment times so if they're late I don't worry because I know there's always a reason you just have to be a bit more patient. The client in front of you might have had a problem or horrendous traffic which is well known down here. I know the girls will get here when they can. They're under tremendous pressures to do their jobs and I think they do a fantastic job. I would rate this company 10 of 10 any day.

Cera carers have made the transition from hospital to home for my dad absolutely seamless. The hospital wanted my dad to go straight to a care home but thankfully we took the option to bring him home and since them with the help of dedicated carers four times a day he is thriving, having put weight on and becoming more mobile again. The carers are absolutely brilliant with him and get on well. Thanks to all the Cera carers from the Murray family.

The carer who visits my relative is excellent but I am very disappointed with the standard of the 'office' - they didn't pass on an important message to me, after 2 weeks it was down to the carer who contacted me. When they are short staffed, the staff in the office go out to make house calls, which is fair enough, but this means they don't read or respond to emails and given how difficult it is to get in touch (plus I work so can't make calls easily) emails should be responded to in a timely manner. If I thought it wouldn't upset my relative I would change carers.

I am a carer for Cera Care and my job - but the management is useless. Last Friday unfortunately I had to call an ambulance for the user at around 4pm. Rang the office, told them about it. As there was nobody else at home with the user, I had to stay with the user and wait for the ambulance, which I did. They organised for cover for the next user. So they took it off my schedule. Fair is fair. But now I discover that whilst waiting for over 2 hours for the ambulance, I don't get paid for that as I would have had to apply for extra time. It was the office who told me I had to wait with the user till other family or ambulance would arrive. Rang the office when daughter arrived home at 6pmto tell them that I could leave now and continue with my schedule. They did not allocate the extra time to me - so I lost half an hours pay with the one who had to be covered for me, and then waste two hours of waiting for an ambulance to arrive and not getting paid for that. I am very angry as we are on minimum wages already and then management completely demoralises your love for the job by trying to see where they can get more out of you for free. It gets me to the stage where I no longer "care" for actual individuals, but will stick to the same attitude as management - only numbers count, so if you have done your tasks you can leave a couple of minutes early and make up some time. When tasks are done, some elderly don't see anybody all day and they also need some social chat. But if I don't get paid for hours waiting for an ambulance, I might change my mind and just do my tasks and "not care" about the rest. Management is a shambles.

Sloppy carers, rude office staff. Had carers coming in with colds and illnesses because they didn't have the carers to cover them. Carers moaning about other carers during visits. Seems like the manager had no idea what she was doing

Cera have been taking care of my mom three times a day since June and I cannot speak highly enough of them - Leanne and her team are reliable, trustworthy and go above and beyond to make sure mom is cared for I would honestly have no hesitation in recommending them -the Cera App is excellent which means I am kept fully updated after each visit Thank You all so much

I always feel that not only are the carers I see professional and always efficient but they offer CARE in the true sense of the word. I sense there is always a deep sense of affection, support and responsibility. Yet, they know when to request medical advice. Is this "over the top"? It's just what I have experienced and observed.

Our experience with Cera care has been amazing. Most of the staff have been excellent and any issues we have had were resolves very quickly. They have been fantastic in supporting my partner through his neuro rehab at home and without them he would still be in a rehab facility where he wasn't improving.
