The Cardross Cera care team have been looking after my mum, who has mobility and memory issues, for almost a year now. They have been taking very good care of her. Mum has found all of the carers to be lovely. Every one is caring, friendly and kind to her. She speaks very highly of them all. Anne in the office is always quick to respond if we have an issue and is unfailingly helpful. She always tries to ensure that mum’s care is the best that it can be. The family app is an absolute lifeline to my brother and I as it keeps us informed about mum’s wellbeing throughout the day. We really appreciate all that the Cardross Cera care team do to enable mum to continue to live independently in her own home.

Ceracare provide essential care for my elderly mum. They are extremely diligent and always professional in their approach. They look after mum with respect at all times. My mum couldn’t speak highly enough of the carers. The office management team have put a very detailed Care Plan in place and communicate well with my sister and I at all times. Nothing is ever too much trouble.

I’ve been with Cera care since they took over at the Maples, when they first took over it was horrendous, over time things slowly got better and now it is like a different place. The carers are good I can’t knock any of them they make me feel comfortable. The office are sound I know If go there with a problem it will be resolved there and then.

My dad was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s and dementia and the care he has received from the staff at Cera Ellon have been fantastic. The staff that I have dealt with so far - Yvonne, Tommy and my dad’s carer (Ross) have been second to none. I take my mum out every Friday when the carer arrives (we are allocated 5 hours) and we know we are leaving my dad in very good hands.

The local Ellon carers have provided an excellent service to my late mother in law. The manager and supervisor were extremely approachable in discussing her changing/ increasing needs. CERA carers input allowed us to keep her at home where she wished to die. They demonstrated kindly personalised care with attention to detail, whilst supporting her family too. Members of the team would make excellent nurses.

I’ve worked for Cera Care for just over 18 months. I find them to be a good company, I can’t fault the ladies in the office… they are always so helpful and supportive. I enjoy my job.

Generally happy, definitely teething problems in the beginning and as Mum's needs have changed. It seems to take a minute for the Carers to pick up on that and follow through. I can't fault the attention of the local team, trying to get things right, and I do think the allotted time is tight for what needs to be achieved at times putting the Carers under pressure and in a hurry. Work in progress for us but still invaluable for Mum, and the visits are helpful.

In general I am really satisfied with my dad's carers, ide like to mention especially Tracey and Amanda, my dad's regular carers. He has dementia which is getting worse so it's best when he knows his carers. I know it's inevitable he will get other carers when Tracey and Amanda are on holidays or wknds when they are not working, but I came upon a problem today, which hopefully gets resolved. I was happy I was able to ring the office and actually speak to someone even on a wknd. After looking back at emails sent previously and replies from Crracare, I am actually disappointed with the conversation regarding carers using key safes. The carer at the office said not all carers use key safe to enter properties. If this is so then what is the point of them 🤷‍♀️ ive installed one so my dad is not startled by his buzzer and doesn't rush to get up and answer his door therefore avoiding any fall, also anyone could say they are a carer and he would let them in making him vulnerable, that's why only carers have access via a code to open the safe to enter his property. In the past I've flagged this before and crracare have said they would cascade this to all carers (her words) and I've kept this email reply for future reference, another small niggle is the time between lunch time and teatime is sometimes only one and half hours, my dad is not always hungry that close together for another meal and worryingly medication should be at least 4 hrs apart especially pain relief Thank you

Some girls are great at there work, over worked and not allowed to be off work as no one to cover shifts, even signed off by docs and still have to work which isn't right, also going into clients with no masks on while working with flu and sickness bugs taking it in to vulnerable people, some staff are bloody useless and certainly aren't carers, leave a mess behind fir other girls to clean up,don't even change clients clothes after a nice clean shower, some girls can't do enough for clients and other don't want to, very poor management, the girls are exhausted

My experience with the team at cera care in Leeds are great. The carers that come to my home and Jess are fantastic and helpful. They Have become more like friends to me. If I ever need to ring the office up for anything regarding any aspect of my care, they’re always there to help. All in all they are a great team and I don’t think I would ever want to change to another care company . Regards Sharon Longfellow

Ceracare, from the staff at the office to the carers have been fantastic. Any issues we have had have been dealt with promptly. The use of the app has been particularly beneficial as I can see the report of mums care when I am work knowing she is getting the best care and keeping me informed. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.
