Stay 2/18-2/21 - Voge Residence First let me say that customer service was great. I'll start with the negative feedback first. Sofa bed at living room: safety hazard, the mattress holder is being held by a wire, not part of the sofa bed, looks like a paper clip. We had to hold the bed with the center table. The beds at the loft had the springs popping out of the mattress. The game room beds had the same issue, the springs were popping out. The ping pong table was broken. The dishwasher doesn't wash the dishes properly. The coffee maker does not keep the coffee warm, shuts down 10min after it finishes brewing. The amount of cobwebs on the windows they have. The screen at the kitchen window falls out when we open the window. The positive: The views are beautiful the sheets are clean.
Location was amazing! Quick walk from the slopes. Place was clean and spacious. Highly recommend!
My friends and I unexpectedly stayed at a different cabin than the one we originally booked- and it ended up being a fantastic experience. On the day of our arrival, Big Bear Cool Cabins kept us updated on our cabin and entry code via text messages, which was a relief that we did not have to drive to the office to receive the keys. When we got there, the cabin was clean, had plenty of space in each room, but unfortunately the hot tub was not working. Our group was really looking forward to enjoying the spa so we contacted BBCC and they sent over maintenance, who then told us the hot tub was broken :( BBCC gave us options to accommodate this situation, including moving us to a different cabin with a working hot tub, at no extra cost. We were pleasantly surprised with this and moved into a new cabin with a gorgeous kitchen and a nice hot tub. Our group had a wonderful time over the weekend thanks to wonderful service from Big Bear Cool Cabin, and we will definitely be using them again.
As a family of 5 (3 small kids) this house was perfect for us. We enjoyed staying in the moonridge heaven cabin. The location is very close, a short 5-8 minute walk to the shops, the ski resort shuttle parking lot for both Snow summit and Big Bear. The cabin was clean, well kept and was comfortable for our family. Even though we brought some games ourselves, they had a few games that we could all enjoy. The kitchen was supplied with everything we needed and even some kid plates/cups. I thought all the little bear decorations were really cute. We had the kids do a bear scavenger hunt to count how many bears they can find in the house (22). Thank you for adding to their core memories! Would definitely stay again!
The company had great communication. The place was clean and welcoming. I would definitely use them again.
Everything was in perfect order and very nice. It was relaxing and quite, even though it was a busy holiday weekend.

Great location. Cabin is clean and well stocked. The back yard is great for kids. The neighborhood is very quiet.
We have used Big Bear Cool Cabins multiple times. Each time a different cabin. They have all been great! And such an easy process.
I have used cool cabins for at least 15 years or more, we have stayed at this particular cabin previously, and really liked it
Could provide more trash bags an toilet paper and body wash/soap.

House was great but most important the customer service from Cool Cabins people was extraordinary, barbecue gas was empty and they sent a person almost immediately after I called, also we forgot jackets in the closet and they were in constant communication and shipped those to me, really recommended!
The house was cute. However, the housekeeping did not do a good job cleaning from the previous guests. We noticed from the moment we walked in, it felt like no one actually cleaned the house. There was dust on dressers, crumbs on countertops, trash under the couches, hair on the sheets in the beds, hair i the shower drains, etc. If the house has been cleaned well, 5 stars. But since the house was not cleaned well, 2 stars. Not sure if we would stay there again given that we told the company this information. We got an apology but it would have been nice to have a little discount as well.
The staff at the office was friendly, helpful and gave great tips on places to check out. Even gave directions to how to get to the backside of the lake for a different breathtaking view of the area.

The cabin was great, easy walk to the slopes. Everything was clean and interior was newer/updated, beds were comfortable, bathrooms clean, spa was amazing, easy to use Nest thermostat so you can adjust the temperature to you liking. Just as a heads up for anyone planning on staying here, the entryway is a bit tight because the stairs are about 3ft from the door. So bringing in a bunch of bags at once is a bit hard. Also, pillows on the beds are extremely soft and made from down, so when laying on them the feathers sometimes poke through and get you in the face. We would have preferred some firmer pillows, but that's just our preference, everybody is different. Overall, we'd definitely stay here again.
