The cabin is ok but inside there are a whole bunch of things that need to be change like tv and modem router are very old, the internet keeps dropping down is very incofortable, the bed is very old And blankets and pillows are duty. The blankets need to be change every time is a new guess in the house.
We didn't have electricity the first day and we couldn't enjoy the cabin as we wanted.
The whole experience was easy. Everything was done through email and text. When I had questions I was able to reach someone with no problem.
Super easy self check in and check out process. The property was clean, cozy and you feel just like youre at home. The neighborhood is calm and just a short 10-15 minute drive to the slopes, village shops, and coffee shops.
Good communication, very responsive. Wendy in the office and Brian in the field were really helpful to us. We will go back and use this company again.
Spider City with Cobwebs All Over This cabin was full of spiders everywhere and cobwebs. It looked as if no one had dusted it in years or if no one had stayed there in years. There were spiders on the doors, in the kitchen sink, in the bathtub, everywhere. It was quite disgusting and scary. They were big, brown, dangerous scary spiders too. I would give a zero star if I could. Very disapointing.

We've been renting with Cool Cabins for about 15 years and we would never go elsewhere. They are so easy to deal with, friendly, accomodating...
The coffee maker takes 1/2 an hour to make a pot of coffee, The bedding was lacking, no extra blankets or pillows. The heating system is unbalanced in the master bedroom. I had to set the temperature to 64 degrees so it would get too hot. Had to keep the doors to the master open as the temperature would fluctuate so dramatically. The floors in the kitchen and family were swept but not cleaned. I had spille some water on the floor and wiped it up with a paper towel and it was filthy. The units location and grounds were great
Feathered Nest was exactly what we were looking for. The cabin was perfect for our getaway. It was exactly as described, we loved it! Small, but has everything you need and close to village, stores, ect. Big Bear Cool Cabins was FANTASTIC and very responsive! I had a small issue and they helped us out quickly. We will definitely be back!

There was small animal traps in the kitchen, the water heater was not working with no guarantee of repair, and we had to move cabins.
Great location and curb appeal. Inside the cabin did not match the appearance of the cabin. Has lots of potential if owner is willing to invest in the cabin more. Everything inside is dated and falling apart. Furniture needs to be updated. Dining table chairs were falling apart and had nails sticking out of the chairs that cut one of my kids. It was a make shift repair that was poorly done. Those chairs are ready to fall apart any minute. Kitchen was not stocked with basic necessities. Drawers were full of random utensils and kitchen necessities. Things that were missing that we needed were a pair of scissors, pizza cutter, tongs to mention a few things. All the utensils and silverware looked dirty including plates. Only one roll of really cheap paper towel was provided. Bedroom decor and sheets need updating. Pet friendly cabin but backyard was full of dog droppings that was not picked up from previous renters. Internet was horrible and was in and out. TV needs replacing and did not work properly probably due to the poor internet. Only basic cable was provided which basically was just local channels. Last thing was my kids found a joint in the cabin which means that cabin was not cleaned thoroughly from cleaners. We really wanted to like the cabin but will not return to this specific cabin.
Due to the wildfires in LA, we tried to cancel our reservation but they refused to show any compassion and were adamant to not cancel our reservation for a refund/reschedule. This just shows that this company values money more than human lives. I will never use this company ever again!
My experience was excellent. Very simple to do and everything was as just as expected. I would highly recommend using Big bear Cool Cabins for your next stay in Big Bear,

Was a nice big place. Plenty of space for the dogs. Only problem was the reservation was for four people for two nights and the place was only stocked with three towels. Had to share and hang them up by the heater. Between the showers and hot tub it was a pain. Otherwise a you'd expect.
Cool cabins always have the place clean and ready for our stay. Also, they are quick on replying back with any questions we have.
Everything was great from check in to departure to Communication, beautiful cabin, I will be coming back again sometime in the future.
Easy to book through cool cabins and the cabin itself was in great location few steps to the slope to ski. The cabin was very clean and had enough utensils to cook and beddings. Easy checkout. Clear instructions. Very pleased. Will book again next year. Thank you.
