I was very happy with the cabin. It was clean, a good size, in a beautiful neighborhood that was centrally located to fun activities, and it was quiet and peaceful. I would definitely recommend this cabin

WE loved the cabin; very cozy inside and a wonderful back yard for our pup. The living room was somewhat dimly lit. We like to read in the evening and I like to knit while watching sports and the living area was not brightly lit enough for this. A lamp between the two sofas would probably solve this

This was my first experience renting a cabin. I have to say the process was easy. Got text updates promptly and even when we had questions and would call for assistance we were greeted with an exceptional customer service. The cabin was exactly as advertised.

The cabin was clean and had a great atmosphere. The location was perfect. Our dog (and us!) enjoyed the relaxing weekend. Definitely coming again! The shower head in the bathroom is leaking pretty consistently. However, it did not change our 5 star experience.

Perfect little cabin with amazing views!

Everything went well. Smooth transaction booking online, clean house, a lot of extra beds and beddings. The family enjoyed the pool table. In one note, I have to call for the key code. It will be nice to receive that code at least an hour before check in.

My name is Sarah Stevens. I am writing regarding the cabin we had rented the cornerstone Nov. 26-27 we were told we are unable to check in early until the day of, which made it a bit of an inconvenience as I had two dogs, both my sons and my husband with me. We drove around and then picked up groceries and we're finally able to get into the cabin at 1:00 which are check-in time was 4:00, they also charged us for every hour we checked in early. we chose this cabin particularly because of the spa that is offered. Once we arrived, we immediately turned on the spa in order for it to be used later that night for my family. Once we got settled we went out to lunch and did some hiking. We came back and checked on the spa which had only risen a few degrees . Unfortunately the spa did not get anywhere close to temperature. Once we finally gave up on the spa getting anywhere close to hot. We went back into the cabin. In order to take a warm shower. Unfortunately the shower Also Did not get Warm Or The water heat up at all. . We let the shower water run for a little bit to see if it would warm up. My son got in the shower first once he came out. He advised us that the water was still freezing cold. Also, my son had spilled something on the ground and we got paper towels to clean it up. And, that's when we found out that the floor had not been cleaned or mopped at all due to how much dirt was brought up when he started cleaning the rest of the floor where he had not spilled. Overall, I was expecting a different experience especially with the spa and hot water being provided in the showers and the cabin to be properly cleaned.

such a cozy house where they really optimized the space given how small the home actually is square footage wise. all the amenities you could ask for with the only real down side being minor things like the microwave works but the plate doesn't spin so you get uneven heating. other than that, it's a great spot and right next to downtown big bear which is beautiful at night in the holiday season.

I spent a weekend in on of their cabins and it was nice and cozy. It was clean and in a great location. They made it easy to check in and out. The only problem was when you are taking out your trash you have to go to the actual landfill to throw it out. Not a good experience to end a great weekend

The company is super responsive, I love that they were available via text if we had any issues. The cabin was clean and spacious and exceeded our expectations. We will definitely be back in the future!

Although I only had one occasion to contact Cool Cabins directly, they were friendly and helpful when I did.

It was a clean nice little place to spend the weekend in big bear. Great location as well

COZY, I NEED EVERYTHING IS THERE

The location was great. Loved the layout indoors and outdoors. Clean and prepped well. Warm and cozy.

Our stay at the Stone House retreat was quite disappointing. The beds were unhygienic, with visible signs of neglect, including dirty sheets and rat droppings on some of them. The dusty cabinets and blinds added to the overall unsightly appearance of the place. Additionally, the shower experience was inconsistent, with hot water followed by sudden cold water. These issues made us all feel disgusted and uncomfortable during our stay.

Bed sheets were stain, the oven was left on with the door open, if a child had walk in first they could have been burn, I rented the cabin because the family was going snowboarding, once we arrive, bear mountain was close, would have been nice if the employee would have told us bear mountain was close. I had let them know I was only renting that house because it was right next door, walking distance to bear mountain, I could have rented something better and closer to snow summit, plus no area for kids to play outside.

Upstairs beds too hard. At least one of the single beds needs new mattress. Otherwise we love mallard landing.
