Everything went so smooth. From booking to paying to the stay. The cabin was just as pictured and its proximity to the Convention Ctr was perfect for walking. We went for the Octoberfest festivities and everything was just as planned. It's our 3rd time using Big Bear Cool Cabins and we plan on using them again. Thank you everyone!
Loved the Cabin. Customer service is great. We were missing a few items from the fire wood bundle we ordered in advance, it was delivered quickly. The only major complaint is that the propane tank was empty which we didn't notice until we went to use the grill on our final night after waiting al.ost two hours we decided to cook our dinner inside. As we sat down to eat the propane was delivered.
We had a very cozy time staying in the cute cabin. We enjoyed the pleasant stay and the internet was working well the whole time. There was one small problem when cooking. The fan/vent over the stove was not working too well. Overall, I had a great time and would stay again.
Exceeded my expectations! Stunning cabin! It have everything we needed and more! I will definitely be returning every year.
The cabin is nice, good size, well supplied but what really ruined it for me and my family is that they had huge mouse traps all over the house. I took my elderly parents and didn’t want to go through the hassle of trying to move them to another cabin. I didn’t sleep well, worried about the mouse traps. I’m sure they are there for a reason.

Lots of space, close to everything and early check in was available.
Good stay, a little short from great… I stood there my wedding night it was as described on the site but the amenities do have a fair amount of wear as well as the cabin. The cleanliness was questionable, we did find some less than clean areas in the cabin.The pool table was wonderful and an amusing form of entertainment as we could not sleep on the very firm beds presented in the bedrooms upstairs. Overall was manageable for one night as we were just trying to enjoy our honeymoon but would not book again unless changes are made.
The communication regarding the rental, check in, any special needs, and the check out process is awesome! Everything was so easy and clear. The cabin was so cute and cozy!
Cool Cabins is great. Actual cabin was a big disappointment for the price point. No furniture in bedrooms. Very dirty. Game room was 10/10 and location was excellent.
Unfortunately fireplace and fire pit did not work. Other than that great place and location

Great location, fast internet, comfy and the kitchen was well stocked with all tools and appliances that we needed. The outdoor space was pleasant and perfect for our dog. Had a great stay!
Everything was amazing!! The neighborhood was peaceful & very close to shops and restaurants. The lake view was beautiful!
The cabin is comfortable and equipped with everything we needed. Good location, close to the lake. King bed was very good and master bedroom has enough space. The master bedroom doesn't have it's own bathroom then you need to go downstairs at night. When asking for help or instructions by email the support was bare and not clear. Also the instructions in the application could be better, like having all the instructions there step by step.
The cabin was so cute and cozy and we loved how close we were to the village. We found nice places to eat and shop and fun activities near by.
Making a reservation while software was being changed was a little bit of a pain. Our card was charged too early and had to be refunded. We were charged incorrect amounts and had to be refunded. We never received the paperwork to sign and show our reservation. I called over a month later to make sure we had a reservation and they saw that it wasn't sent to us. I did all of the paperwork online including sending photos of credit card and driver license and then had to do all of it a second time. I received a text telling me to buy travel insurance and I had already purchased it. Seemed a little unorganized this year compared to previous years. Also received the wrong code to unlock the cabin. Someone had to come out and give us the correct code.
Barbara with Big Bear Cool Cabins (If you are lucky enough to talk with her) is extremely knowledgeable and accommodating. She answers every question and/or resources to get you an answer in a timely manner. Our client recently purchased an existing vacation rental with BB Cool Cabins and she made the process to transfer our client into their system so easy that by the time escrow closed our client was up and running the following week!
