The price in comparison to other people search companies was excellent and the ability to link the search to other potential family members made it very easy to find "a trail" to the person we were looking for. Trying to find the cancel page was a little difficult which cost me an additional month's payment but the information was worth it.

I checked to see if my ex husband had died a year ago. I checked his name on Been Verified and found that to be true.. plus the obituary information. This site is very helpful for many things.

Suspicion confirmed...as you can see from their reply that I saw the same offer that it was $1 to do a search and could cancel within 7 days. Jan 3rd I paid the dollar and Jan 7, I cancelled. You do the math. Then when I called you I was told I signed up for 3 days. Liars!! If you want to help like you always say in your replies, credit back my money. Terrible Company...read the fine fine fine print or they will ding your card immediately. They cant wait to get your real money not the sucker trial offer to lure you in.

I have requested cancelation 3 months in a row and each time I still get billed continuously.

it was completely unclear that I was signing up for a trial period, so I got charged a monthly fee and couldn't figure out what it was until I got hold go the company.

An absolute fraud. It´s ironic that they advertise a service to do background checks when it is they that are the fraud. The searches reveal absolutely nothing. I have tried to cancel my account but it is impossible. They say just to send the 9 digit membership number sent with the confirmation email but they never sent it. I have tried with 3 different computers and a mobile to access the website and each time the message, "Sorry, you have been blocked. You are unable to access beenverified.com" appears. How convenient for them. This is an absolute fraud.

Address locations and time frames. (2003 - 2005) Would like to see more emphasis on places of employment.

I enrolled in program to access reverse look-up for a number. After all my effort to enroll, my search revealed absolutely no info or data. Besides this, I never received a new account email which make cancellation difficult. To add insult to injury, the waste of my time and zero result to my inquire, cost me money. It was only a dollar, but money never the less. You have earned yourself a real proponent!

BeenVerified: Bait and Switch, Not Truth Seeker Let me start by saying, if you're looking for legitimate background information, STAY AWAY from BeenVerified. It's a classic bait-and-switch trap designed to squeeze $30 out of you for practically nothing. The Bait: You enter a name, hopeful for insights on a potential roommate, long-lost relative, or whoever piques your curiosity. The search bar promises "Free People Search Instantly!" and "Access Public Records." Sounds great, right? The Switch: You navigate through a series of tantalizing prompts, each page hinting at juicy details just beyond your fingertips. Phone numbers? Addresses? Criminal records? BeenVerified teases it all, like a cat dangling a string in front of a desperate mouse. The Sting: Finally, after 20 minutes of navigating this labyrinth of false promises, you're hit with the real cost: $29.95 for a single report. Shocking, right? All those "free" hints were just an elaborate setup to make you feel like you've already invested time and effort, so you cave and pay. The Result: And what do you get for your $30? A mediocre report, often with outdated or incomplete information. You could probably gather more accurate details from a quick Google search and a friendly chat with your neighbor. Beyond the Financial Sting: Deceptive Marketing: The entire "free" search is a misleading charade. Their tactics prey on curiosity and urgency, leaving a bad taste in your mouth. Privacy Concerns: Sharing someone's name on BeenVerified opens up a whole can of privacy worms. Are you sure you have the right to access this information? Misinformation: The accuracy of the reports is questionable at best. You could be basing important decisions on unreliable data. Instead of BeenVerified: Free alternatives: Public records are often readily available through government websites and directories. Do some digging, you might be surprised what you find. Reputable services: If you require a more comprehensive background check, consider licensed investigators or reputable consumer reporting agencies. In conclusion, BeenVerified is a sham. Save your money, protect your privacy, and avoid this online headache.

Takes too long and minimal info. Extra charges for more info seems like a rip off. Not enough people found I was searching for. Too expensive for the end result; but can be helpful if you’re just wanting to pay more & do more searching.

Easy to search

Easy and fast to use but cost was too high for my purpose.

Some genius thought it would really sell to make people wait forever "while searching millions of records." GTFO, shady website that *tries* to provide shady services. Google does that same stuff for free

I was arrested in January of 2023... Been Verified posted online VERY FALSE information about me and they refuse to take it down or correct it! This is now preventing me from getting a job! So DON'T trust them.. if they lied about my charge I'm sure they've lied about others. You can't trust what information you abtain from them because it might just be lies!! And don't expect any help if you have a problem with them! I talked to some rude woman there...she pretty much said to bad and we're not going to do anything about it!
