This is our second move with Alexanders and it was as usual fabulous. A happy energetic kind group of men who packed and unpacked for us and were enthusiastic and professional in every way.
Good service, responsive and punctual. We packed ourselves but the team brought extra boxes to pack remaining loose items, which was a great help. They worked professionally and very careful with our furniture. Our job was not straightforward as items were going to storage, and then moving to two different houses at different time. The team was very organised, patient and helpful. They turned a stressful move into a much more pleasant experience. Due to our tight budget, we used another mover to do the deliveries after storing the items for months. The office helped to coordinate with the warehouse efficiently. However, the first extraction was not perfect. One important item was not loaded to our van, which added an extra cost for returning to collect it. We reported the instance to the office, and Lisa, the General Manager, reimbursed us the money immediately. Alexanders is not the most affordable removal company, but they are trustworthy, which money can't buy. I have no hesitation recommending them to anyone.
We booked a three day move with them (day 1 packing, day 2 loading and unloading and day 3 unpacking). The team from start to finish were punctual, responsive and efficient. They did the job well and independently- we couldn’t be around for much of the process as we had to juggle having a toddler and having to work but everything went smoothly. Should we need movers again we will definitely without a doubt be using Alexander’s!
Excellent crew - very hard working, friendly and efficient. Four 3.5 tonne vans moved over 2 days in a very organised manner, including vacating our property by 10:30am on the day of completion. Items packed carefully. Took a huge amount of stress (and backache) out of moving house! Thank you Robin & team!
Very good crew, efficient and pleasant to deal with during the actual move. Responsive and helpful team back at head office - for instance, itemising the things to be moved by way of a video tour saved a couple of days, when time was short.

Incredible service with highly professional packers. They were able to pack andclear a 2 bedroom apartment of everything in a grand total of 7 hours. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting their stuf to he efficiently and safely taken away
I can’t say that I had a stress-free experience - infact it was quite stressful at times - particularly with emails. I found talking in-person to our Move Manger was better than trying to get answers via email as these seemed a tad non-commital. The gentlemen who came and packed for us were friendly and we felt at complete ease - but I felt the packing was rushed - particularly the signing off of the inventory at the end which resulted in me having to visit the warehouse for an inspection because I felt the inventory wasn’t completed as per conversations with our Move Manager. One of the warehouse Managers who was really patient with me re-wrote the whole inventory which was tidy and correct. Had I been able to supervise/inspect what went into which box during the move this would have prevented an on-site inspection. The third party chaps (Norman and Jack from St. Georges) went above and beyond to deliver our belongings and we cannot thank them enough. We received our belongings within 2 weeks of leaving the UK and everything is present, intact and correct. Also not sure about the cubic foot measurements. We totalled up the inventory but was, after much tooing and throwing, still charged over and above our inventory cubic foot total. About 6 items on our inventory had no cubic foot measurement assigned to them - but these items would not make up the overcharge of 200 reduced to 100 cubic feet - not sure what calculator people were using. I think the biggest and most stressful part was arranging the insurance and it seemed difficult to nail down despite much discussion - this needs to be fully written out so it’s easy for customers to understand - as the lack of clarity over the insurance was a game changer for me. I think Alexanders could aleviate much stress if they had proper written guidance. Overall although we’re satisfied there is room for much improvement with regard to the process. Additional Info: The main area of confusion for us was that once the inventory had been done and all the boxes and box sizes were accounted for they came to X cubic feet. We didn’t understand why, once, we received a completed inventory list we were told that it came to almost double the cubic feet that was listed on the inventory. We completely understood that the quote was a ‘guesstimate’ it was just once the actual inventory was completed we didn’t undertstand the disparity between the inventory cubic feet and the final invoice cubic feet, which as stated before was almost double. After conversations with our move manager and her subsequent conversations with the third party international removal company the total was reduced by 100 cubic feet which was still above the actual inventory list total. So all we’re saying is you need to clarify where this additional cubic feet actually came from as we don’t feel we received a satisfactory response to our questions. Thank you.
The organisation and communication before our move was excellent. We hit lots of bumps in the road and the team were full of compassion. On the day the guys were Reliable, efficient and very understanding when we hit delays. Would highly recommend.
Adam and his team moved us from Greenwich to Tottenham. I’ve had issues in the past with removals teams in London so it was great to have such a friendly, expert, and cooperative team. Team of 4 in two vans and it was all done by mid afternoon. It made the move genuinely easy and enjoyable.

Our move manager, Callie was amazing, she was empathetic, attentive, professional and made the whole process painless. The move itself was like clockwork, the removal team were on time each and everyday, worked hard packing in a methodical and focused manner, taking care with our possessions and the property all the way along. In addition, they were all very easy to talk to and happy to get guidance from us.
Great experience! Packed up our 3 bedroom flat (that included garden furniture and an attic) very quickly. The team were professional, personable and helpful. What could have been a stressful day went really smoothly and they were very patient and hard working. They took a lot of care in packing delicate items and rebuilt our beds extremely quickly. Really recommend Alexanders!
The experience with Alexanders was excellent. Our task wasn't simple, many last minute changes from the client before we booked the job, but Justyna made the process very simple, reassuring all the way and always finding solutions for our challenges. We had a wonderful experience with Alexanders moving from zone 2 to zone 5 London. They packed up our flat in under 2 hours and were there at the new house waiting in the van for us to complete. Prompt arrival time and barely any plastic for packing! They have even picked up the boxes once we unpacked to use again. Thank you Alexanders, heavily pregnant and with a toddler you made the whole day easy.

The move manager was incredibly helpful and always available to answer all of my questions. The team that executed the move was efficient and speedy and very courteous. I would definitely recommend them and would use them again.
I contacted Alexanders at 4pm the day before my moving job and Justyna was eager to help me right away, creating an account, sending a quote and getting the job booked almost instantly. Justyna took time out of office hours to ensure the booking was confirmed and remained in contact - even wishing us good luck on the morning of the move. The team of movers were nothing but brilliant - incredibly polite, efficient but also lovely people to speak with. I would absolutely recommend this company!
