I needed to contact Addis as an item I had bought was missing it’s soft feet. I did not realise this until a few weeks later. Too late to return the purchase. Customer Service were brilliant…they sent the four feet immediately at no cost to me, I was very impressed because the item was only around £10 to buy on Amazon… five stars to their customer service department.

During a Covid outbreak (on my inpatient dementia) ward in December 2021, I was forced to arrange emergency accommodation and I bought what I thought was a quality Addis product (an Addis 3 tier with hooks clothes drier). The Addis “customer service” representative who has responded to my complaint has accepted that their product is faulty and passed my evidence to their quality department whilst also suggesting that if I could request “the retailer to reprint itemised receipts”, a replacement would be provided. Unfortunately, at the time of purchase, I was too busy trying to save the lives of patients who were dying with Covid 19 to record the date of my purchase. I could not recommend either the product or the ensuing Addis customer “care” in the event of a product failure.

A classic case where a business (otherwise rated good at Amazon) chooses 3rd class unprofessional partners who are not even fit or trustworthy enough to deliver a garbage bin properly. I never asked for my stuff to be delivered by Hermes - it was your choice. This is the last company I would trust. Clearly LYING that 'a delivery was attempted' when EVERYONE was at home. And the person came to deliver but didnt even bother to CALL when the door was not answered. What a joke - specially when I was doing my front garden at that time. Now for a mere dust bin I have to run around waiting for days for it to be delivered as no one wants to accept responsibility. If you choose to keep HERMES as your delivery partners - sorry but no further orders from your storefront. I dont like dealing with LIARS.

I bought an Addis Sensor bin less than a year ago from B & M . In less than a year the sensor stopped working so I essentially the bin was no longer fit for purpose. I contacted Addis with batch number as I could not find my receipt. I wanted to establish policy for getting the top part of the bin replaced and if the product was still under warranty. After several days I got a response and that the product was an exclusive B & M bin and had to contact them . I did and established from B & M that Sensor bins apparently only have 30 days warranty as they are not classed as Electrical as they are battery operated . Therefore I bought a product that was a throwaway item . Addis didn't care they sold their brand to B & M for money and the net result is I would never recommend Addis to anyone . This may seem harsh however who can afford to spend money on a Bin that you have to throwaway in less than a year . The reality is go to a reputable Brand who at the very least sell consumables and you can keep the Bin for several years . A very expensive lesson that don't buy British as they just want money without quality . Don't buy any Brand from B & M as it seems they are the poor quality remnants of stock which is not fit for purpose . It seems that Sensor Bins have an unwritten profiteering warning that 30 days is the window of opportunity for any repairs as Sensor Bins don't meet the criteria of electrical and unless a Brand cares about their reputation they just bank the money and couldn't care less about Customers. A bit symptomatic of post Brexit UK where customers are just a money making entity . Addis will ultimately prosper short term but go the way of similar UK companies making cheap products that don't last . If Addis and B & M had any integrity they would at least advertise the fact that these products had a shelf life of less than a year. Then consumers can decide to go to Brabantia and get a 10 year guarantee and buy quality. To add insult to injury the Addis representative abdicated responsibility and blamed B & M policy . Im sorry but I bought an Addis bin not a B & M bin. All I wanted was a replacement if under warranty or the sensor bin repaired as a statutory obligation at the very least . Instead I got nothing now I am wondering does every Sensor Bin have the same poor quality policy as Addis . Congratulations Addis another UK Brand endorsement and why not to buy British

Not surprised to see such poor ratings for this company - and unfortunately I am not going to improve the situation . Bought a Rotary40 Airer 16 months ago - has a TEN YEAR WARRANTY - but already it has rusted severely with ground spike even splitting! Sent photos as proof. Complained and was offered a replacement unit. That was two weeks ago and still no sign or update. Being over eighty with severe health problems I also claimed for the cost of professional to come and insert this unit. Addis refused Asked for case to be escalated to Management who obviously did not read my complaint as she said to use existing spike which obviates need to dig it up ! ! , So I complained to CEO who is just as incompetent as the staff he employs as he has not even deigned to reply despite auto acknowledgement In brief - product is totally useless - Customer Services is both incompetent and totally useless - CEO - if he exists - is both ignorant and too proud to even open a dialogue with a customer

Just purchased my 2nd Addis hot water dispenser wouldn't be without one now, small complaint this time, the marker float is virtually impossible to see on this new version. Addis plz rectify this small issue as I'd be hesitant to buy a 3rd one otherwise.

I purchased an Addis ‘twist to wring’ mop. This requires the user to manually twist the mop head hand grip against the counter force of the hand grip on the handle, in order to expel any water used. On first use I found that it was not possible to expel any water as the hand grip provided on the handle was spinning around the handle. I contacted a very helpful Addis customer service department, who apologised and sent a replacement mop free of charge, but I found this had the same problem! I thanked Addis and decided to resolve the matter myself and attached the hand grip solidly to the handle using ‘pop’ rivets. I also suggested that Addis had a fundamental design problem they needed to address! I would save your money and look for another type of ‘twist to wring’ mop, that actually works.

I purchased a pink folding wash basket which is poorly made and collapses with very little washing in it, it recently collapsed trapping my granddaughter hand in it. I have tried to contact the company to raise this issue so no one else gets hurt but they failed to respond which shows there lack of interest and care. Please do not buy this item Replied to this company provided pictures and proof of purchase now they don’t reply

Some years ago we purchased a rotary clothes drier with a 10yr guarantee. Recently the upright developed a severe list to one side. The lowest section of the upright had begun to rust through. After I sent pictures of the location and proof of purchase, I received a replacement section within a few days. Great service Thank you Kelly

I contacted the company as my expensive ironing board literally collapsed in two pieces. This was as a result of the join where the board meets the leg having rusted and decayed. I have taken advice on this and it’s due to a manufacturing fault. The powder coating should adequately cover the joint to ensure it doesn’t rust. Who keeps a receipt for an ironing board? The company aren’t interested despite the photos showing the obvious flaw unless I produce a receipt.

I found some stuff that I needed, I bought them and waited 1 month for them to... NOT be delivered. Several emails were sent and all of them were ignored. Finally, after 1 month, they decided to acknowledge my existence and refund my money. Unless you're looking for somewhere to lend money to for a month, then stay away!

Rotten customer service. Give you email you should use in respect of returned goods for exchange but no response. When eventually you get through to someone they are pleasant enough and explain procedure but do not tell you to use an expensive tracking service for your cheap returned item. They then cannot locate your parcel and do not get back to you to let you know what to do next. If proof of posting is not enough for heavens sake at least let the customer know that its too bad and you just have to bear the loss. Used to be a great company. What's happened? Don't blame Covid. It's obvious from reviews it's deeper than that.

we bought an Addis rotary clothes line yesterday and I think we are just going to have to throw it away. The ground spike is a different size to the central piece of the line itsself (I went out and bought a metal one from Homebase) -- when you life the line there are hole to hold the thing in position -- neither mysself or my wife could barely move this. Yes it was cheap but guess we should have gone for the Brabantia one in the first place

I recently purchased an ironing board, when it arrived there was a foot missing, I sent an email over the weekend, first thing Monday I had a response. I sent an image of the foot required and today have received two feet, so now have a spare, I cannot speak highly enough of Ryan and customer services of this company, thank you.

Addis customer services are the most efficient company I've ever dealt with. I emailed them about a part for my bin and the very next day it arrived by Royal Mail with no charge. Unbelievable! I wish all customer services were as great as Addis.

After having a nightmare with an Addis Superdry mop on which the squeezing handle broke twice, a Consumer Services Angel came to the rescue. Although my original was over 2 years old and I couldn't find a receipt, Kelly organised a new replacement mop for me. I can honestly say that this was my best Consumer Services experience ever!!! I have had two ADDIS Soft-touch washing-up bowls in the last three years. BOTH developed large splits in the sides after less than two years' occasional use. Appalling quality from a company that ought to know better. When I was a child, we had a plastic washing-up bowl that was still going strong after I'd left home! Why can't Addis make a simple plastic bowl that lasts longer than a year?

AVOID BUY THESE PRODUCTS!! No customer service!! I bought an addis mop early this year, the mop broke up - long bits coming away from the frame after 2 weeks of use . In Jan 2020 broke completely becoming unable to use. I contacted the customer service department and did not have any response. Shop where I bought it sent me to addis customer service. So its better to buy other good products then this.

Fabulous customer service today! I ordered an under the sink unit via Amazon and 2 nuts were missing. They replied to my message straight away and arranged to send me some more out immediately-no questions. You can’t ask for more! Thank you so much as I couldn’t have used the product without them! 😀

Very disappointed with my 4 arm rotary dryer, the ground spike is far too short, hence when you peg out your washing as it twirls it all pops up and falls to the ground - having spent forty nine pounds 99p I now have to make a trip to purchase a more sustainable ground stake, very disappointing! Thankyou Addis for your reply - a bit too late unfortunately as Ive already replaced your plastic post with a the correct metal one, but thanks for your concern.
