Overall the shopping experience was good. Unfortunately my bank stopped the transaction for security reasons but this was quickly resolved and was hardly WAE+'s fault anyway. I look forward to receiving the order.

This is the internets worst company, hands down. They advertise products as in stock when they dont have them, then do not fulfill your order. You then have to fight for a refund, which will take a considerable time. You should google this company before ordering anything off them. It will reveal that they have even been mentioned in the Guardian newspaper for their poor service. No better than a scam website. I believe that the only reason I got my refund back in anything approaching a reasonable timescale was because I began taking legal action. Avoid this company at all costs. And I bet they'll try to have this review challenged or pulled down to. They seem to spend more time trying to hide their bad reputation than building a good service.

it is really a waste of time. will not bother to contact them again, if refund still not showing up in 2 days -- that means 30 days after cancellation. I will raise a case on small amount claim court directly

I ordered two small items (a usb lead and usb hub) and over a week later the order status still read "awaiting fulfillment". I contacted their customer services by clicking the "Fast response" link on the website but received no response at all... Needless to say I cancelled my order and bought the items elsewhere. I would not recommend shopping with WAE+

Excellent service, arrived when they said it would, I chose the free delivery, they said within 10 days and I got it within 10 days. its an excellent hard drive and fast usb 3. I am using it on a Chromebook that has 16 gb solid state storage. I am watching movies straight from the hard drive that do not even stutter. excellent buy one Jo Warren

Being six months pregnant I find I am relying more and more on online shopping. WAE+ have an easy to navigate website and I was able to find my product at half the price offered by other websites. It was easy to add the item to the shopping basket and I was not forced to register to complete my order (they have a guest checkout option). The site also has added online security by directing to your own bank's security site if necessary. Offers same day dispatch if you order before 3pm. Have not yet received my item but will let you know if I have any problems. Overall a good first time experience.

When order placed my order it clearly stated in stock and available and to be delivered within 5 days. When the due date came the item had not been fulfilled. I had to call to check and then advised it was actually out of stock (when I placed the order, despite the web site saying they had 5 in stock) and new supplies were coming from Europe in next 7-10 days. So had to cancel the order as it was needed urgently. Cancellation was processed OK and advised credit would be within 5 days. Now 6 weeks days since cancellation and still no credit. After another call to chase up and now advised it could be up to 30 days.! That deadline was missed and 4 calls since been giving the same story line, with a slightly different well rehearsed variation of the previous excuse for not paying and that that the payment is being processed. This is a shame as WAE have a good web site and a good range of products and very competitive prices and free delivery. But why say in stock when it isn't? Got if from Amazon for £4 more and delivered 2 days later. So I cannot recommend strongly enought that that you DO NOT make a purchase from this company as sadly other reviewers comments are the same as mine. I just wish I had read them before I had placed the order! But we all learn from our mistakes. I will update my review when I get my refund. Next stop Trading Standards I suppose, as they are surviving on other peoples well earned cash.

the prices are competitive, good deals, only complaint is the longer delivery period but that is fine for the particular project I have at the moment, so its a fair compromise for the lower prices for the items I needed.

I looked in all the super markets and could not find it low and behold there it was on the WAE+ site on line so I ordered it . It arrived sooner than they said it would ,I was really pleased and will order my Nandos bar-b-que sauce from them in the future.

I phoned to check that they had a high stock count prior to ordering an A3 scanner - spoke to a nice chap who assured me that all was well and they had over 20, so went ahead with the order. Phoned 20 days later, complaining that this had not been recieved, only to be told that they have had none in stock. But they would send one of similar value or higher and that they will send one over as soon as possible. Phoned today to be told from a "supervisor" that I was "lying" and that all he was prepared to only refund me the money and not esculate my complaint. Very poor!!

This company wants closing down they are a disgrace, I ordered a part that was showing in stock on 27/05/13 and i still have not received it as of 27/06/13. They have banked my money 2 days after ordering and have replied to my e mails through a automated responce and offered no sensible answer to what is happening. This company must rate as my worst ever shopping experiance, and if anybody from this sham company is reading this then sort out my order or i will see you in court,but then again you probably dont care about your customers do you, just your own bank account with my money in it. 1 star is far too much for this disgrace of a company.

I ordered my item on June 20th, the item I ordered was listed as in stock, and the money was taken out of my account immediately...so I expected quick shipping even assuming second class postal services (the cheap option). 5 days later I had to phone them because I'd receive no notifications my order had been shipped, the item was still listed as in stock, and my order seemed to have fallen into a black hole. When I got through to someone (which was admittedly quick), I was told: "Your order is shown as allocated, which means it has been shipped, it will arrive tomorrow" Since I had nothing to say to the contrary, I thanked them. hang up, and resolved to call again in two days time if it hadn't arrived. Two days later, nothing had shown up, BUT I finally received a "your item has been shipped" email from them, and it arrived today (next day from the shipping notification). So arguably the service from them has been acceptable, with the following cons which would make me very wary to order from them again: 1) Customer service willing to outright lie to customers (I asked had my item been shipped. It clearly had not - it shipped 48 hours later). This means their service cannot be relied upon in event of a problem. 2) They take the money for your order immediately, NOT when the item ships (which is normal practice if there's a delay in shipping the item). Very shady business practice. 3) They are extremely slow to ship an order, even if it's in stock (1 week to ship from placing the order in my case). This makes them unreliable, since you cannot know at any point if your order is delayed because it's not actually in stock (see the first point above), or some other reason. Either of the second two points would have limited them to 3 stars in my eyes. However, point 1 is TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE as a business practice, and the reason why they receive 1 star only.
