At first I ordered my prom dress from missesdressy, and then I read the reviews and i was really scared because I thought something would go wrong. I was really worried for a whole week straight. I ordered my dress about a week and a half ago and I just got it in today. it shipped to me last night and I got it this morning. I have to say this company was really helpful, I did call or live chat with them about my order about everyday they probably got tired of me but i just wanted to make sure I got my dress. Another thing I also did that really helped was I put my wear date about two weeks before my real one. Overall i am really happy with my experice with missesdressy.com and it is unfortunate that others have not had the same great experience. Can't wait to wear my beautiful dress!
I waited and waited for my dress to come for my wedding I ordered 2 months ago. It didn't come. My wedding was 2 days ago and I still don't have my dress. I am now asking for refund and they are trying not to talk to me. If I don't receive my refund in few hours or days, I will talk to my lawyer and start a legal action about this company
BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!! Research this company before you order! When a dress doesn't fit it costs you $40.00 to return it on top of paying to ship it back. Hope you like the next one and it fits because it will cost you $40.00 again!! They are running a scam and if you research their company you will find hundreds of complaints online. I will be adding to them to prevent others from buying from them. There are so many more reputable companies that are out there to satisfy you and not rip you off!!!
I never seen a business this terrible in my life. They had told me, and i made sure multiple of times the dress will definitely be in 5-7 business days. The lady had told me, "Yes mam, our website and business is 99% accurate." She lied, if her store was 99 percent accurate i would have my dress right now. I waited and waited for an email saying the dress is being shipped, never shipped. My prom is May 4. And I ordered my dress 2 and a half weeks ago. I had called her about 5 times. She told me to hold while she put her supervisor on the line. Well, again, I waited for about 23 min. on this supervisor to pick up. To me it seemed as if she was trying to get rid of me. She told me the night before, I will get my supervisor to call you in an hour. I called at 10 and she was gonna call at 11. I said no , that is way to late she can call me in the morning. The lady says, yes mam, I will get the supervisor to call you. Finally, I find out my dress won't be in until April 25, a week before my prom. There is no way I am risking that. Seeing all these reviews with different colors, and sizes, not the right dress, I will not risk this. I think this place is terrible and has the worst service ever. DO NOT SHOP WITH THIS COMPANY. YOU WILL REGRET IT ! I think it is messed up how they had lied to me, and i called 3 times to make sure they can get me the dress within a week. I need to get alterations as well. Turns out, it wouldn't be in for a month. They should really have contacted me and told me this occurrence and wait for this dress. This place is unbelievable and is going to get reported to the better business bureau.
Went to Misses Dressy shopping for a senior prom dress. I found two dresses that I wanted to try with the intention of sending back the one that I didn't like out of the two. I checked with frequently asked questions before checking out where it was never explicitly stated that I could not get a refund on my credit card when returning my dress. I also found out that there was an astronomical return fee of $40 when I chose to return my dress. I accepted the $40 return fee and purchased the dresses agreeing to the terms and conditions without having read the actual terms and conditions. I assumed that a no cancellation, no refund, no return policy would be under the frequently asked questions. Wrong! After having placed my order, in excess of $400 dollars, I discovered through reviews on this website that I would not be receiving a refund when I returned a dress. Within 10 minutes I had already sent an email to the company requesting a cancellation on my order. I then called the company where I waited on the phone to be told that although the order was placed 10 minutes ago, there was no way for me to cancel it and that I would have to contact a supervisor the next day. I then asked to have a request for a void placed on the order. The receptionist told me that she could only tell me the status on my order. My mom then got on the phone, and told the receptionist that she would be calling the credit card company to not accept any charges from Misses Dressy, seeing as this was the only option to canceling the order. We still don't know if the order has been canceled but in a total of 50 minutes we have sent 4 emails requesting a cancellation. This request for cancellation was made 10 minutes after the order was placed. More than enough time to cancel and order that nothing has been done on yet. In conclusion, don't order from this company. I mean it. It is such a waste of time, and the company appears to me to be very deceptive. Is it really so hard to make it known to your customers that there are no cancellations, refunds or returns? I understand you don't want a person wearing the dress and then trying to return it, but seriously that is what the three day return period is for. Please make it readily apparent to your customers that as a company you do not have cancellations, returns or refunds. I would rather not be out $400+ dollars.
I ordered a dress 3 sizes to big because it was the only size that said ships in 5-7 days. Well today is the 37th day. The site says they don't take the money till it ships but they take the money out of your account within 1-3 days. I thought if I don't get the dress in the next few weeks I won't have a wedding dress and I had a 700 budget and spent it all on this dress so I can't get another one. Just think of how freaked out I was about this, a 680 dollar dress and I thought I would have to get a second hand crap for a gown… I was mortified an extremely upset and emotional and I am sure I caused quite a stink with them about it. Yesterday I was told I would get a tracking number shortly well I did not get a tracking number but the dress was at my door that day! It is perfect and exactly what I ordered. I never would have gotten it at a store this fast, all said 4-6 months for an Allure gown! At the end of they day I realize your ware date is the most important with missesdressy, as long as your ware date is before the date they say it will ship you should get it but don't expect it in 5-7 days just expect it before your date I personally think. It is easy for stressing brides like me to not be patient when it come to your gown but with missesdressy if you want your gown that all the bridal stores say is not possible in time then I would give missesdressy a shot.
It is such a pity that the TRUSTPILOT website doesn't also have 'Refer this Seller to the Authorities' tab (can we have one please)? as your equivalent to the UKs Trading Standards Office would shut them down pending an investigation or they would be hauled through the courts for their irregular selling practices! Pay everything through Paypal if you have to - I have just got my money back! ANYONE KNOW OPRAH'S EMAIL ADDRESS - I KNOW SHE WOULD EXPOSE THIS LOT IF SHE KNEW THEY WERE WRECKING THE DREAMS OF 16 YEARD OLD GIRLS/BRIDES TO BE AND ALL THOSE WITH SPECIAL OCCASION DREAMS!!!!! Charlatains...I'll spread the word!!! Come on America - where are the officials? Come on Ladies...someone refer this bunch of CHARLATAINS to your authorities.!!!!!! I would do it myself if I knew how to from the UK, but I think the USA state Authorities would listen to its National's concerns and act upon them first - rightly so. come on, let's get a petition up against this lot...post our concerns on Facebook and every Social Network Site we know of....These people are running off with our very hard earned cash and DON'T GIVE A DAMN that they could have completely ruined a young lady's most special day (and hard saved up cash). Let's make this official so the Authorities realise what this company is doing. There is not a lot of money around the world at the moment - let's keep good businesses going - the ones that provide excellent customer services deserve to stay afloat, the others can sink if the customer does not come first!!!!! This was my first time buying from Missesdressy and I ordered a Terani dress and I was suprised at how fast the dress came to my house. The dress is beautiful and fits nicely. All I have to say is I will shop from Missesdressy again. I am sorry for those who recieved bad service but I believe Missesdressy is a great site and the people were very helpful.
THEIR INTERNATIONAL COURIER TNT IS NOT SO GOOD IN MY COUNTRY, BUT OTHERWISE THE DRESSES ARRIVED GOOD AND IN TIME
I recently bought a dress from Miss Dressey, paid extra for international shipping and the dress arrived in 12 days from placing my order. Arrived in excellent condition, came packaged in a box, correct dress and correct size and exactly what was ordered.
I talked with customer service on 1/30 about a dress for my daughter, after my local dress shop couldn't get the dress in time for prom. Shipping said 5-7 days and customer service confirmed that date, so I ordered the dress. They claim 95% in stock, which is BS, they have dresses but no size selection. My local shop owner called me and I told her about the order, she then told me that the manufacturer had none of the dresses in stock and shipment from China would be after prom. She called her manufacturer's rep and she confirmed this for me. I called missesdressy and was told that they would email me in 24 hours to give me the ship date, after they order the dress. I told them there were no dresses and I was told that from the manufacturer and if you were ordered why would you say 5-7 days when you don't even know if it's in stock???? I decided to wait for the email, but I read some reviews and realized I was taken and this is normal practice for Missesdressy.com. Take the order, take the money, make a false shipment promise, and then they have your money. I called again and was immediately put on hold for 55 minutes. I called from another phone, while on hold, and was hung up on twice. I called no fewer than 8 times in 2 hours, never talking to anyone, other than "can you hold,....click!" . I called my credit card and started a dispute claim for the charge. I called missesdressy again and finally reached the same person I spoke to earlier. I swear 2 people work here. I told her I was NOT paying for a dress that wasn't going to arrive and she told me that they don't cancel orders. I then told her I already called to report a fraudulent charge to my credit card company and amazingly her story changed and I was transferred to a "supervisor". She answered the phone with "hello", no introduction, no can I help you, nothing but hello. I told her my story and I wanted a full refund and she did it. I told her I wouldn't hang up until I was emailed a confirmation on my cancellation, which she did. This company is a joke!!!!!!!!!!
Yippee!! My second dress, a Jovani, arrived a full month earlier than promised! As with the first one which arrived a little over a week ago, it is perfect and absolutely fabulous! It was express mailed to me along with sending an online tracking number. I know a lot of people on this blog have had unpleasant experiences, and it is obvious that some improvement in customer relations does need to be made, but my experience was very positive. I'm wondering if a lot of the satisfied customers just don't take the time to post? Thank you Missesdressy!
I was hesitant about ordering from missesdressy after reading the poor reviews, but I couldn't be happier with the customer service I received. I ordered my dress on January 15th and my dress arrived on January 24th as promised. I called several times to check the status of my dress and every person I spoke to was informative and very nice. I had a great experience and would definitely order from them again!
WARNING!!!: Do not buy a dress from these people, I ordered a dress, they sent me the wrong one and so I had to post it back to them from Australia ($70). Two months on and they still haven't reimbursed me!!! They never return email or phone calls and whenever I call to speak to management, they are mysteriously never available.

I recently wore one of my Terani dresses from missesdressy.com to my best friend's engagement and everyone commented on how gorgeous and unique my dress was. I wanted to post this review, so that people knew that MissesDressy are reliable and a professional service. I received my dress via TNT express service and could not fault the dress. It is genuine, authentic and absolutely stunning. If you are ordering from this store I would suggest you choose the dress you like, and prior to you purchasing it, use the "live chat" option to check with the person on the other end if they have the dress in stock. They will tell you the sizes available and how many. I did this and was told there was one more left, so I purchased it on the spot through their online store. I received an email receipt upon purchase. A few days later because I had checked that the dress was in stock before I purchased I received an email with my tracking number. Unfortunately, they had given me the wrong tracking number, so I emailed them immediately to send me the correct one. The next day I had an email waiting which had the correct tracking number. My dress arrived in the mail 2 days later. All up, from purchase to arrival, was 8 days. Pretty quick in comparison to the 4 - 6 months stores say they need to get the dress "cut". I am so thrilled about this purchase, and have save myself more than double on the price. As a bonus the shipping internationally to Australia was free. Now, you don't get that too often. Overall, I had a great experience. I was a bit concerned when I saw all these reviews on bad customer service, but I never encountered any myself. I recommend buying from MissesDressy, and would do so again :)
Very responsive, professional, courteous personnel via phone and emails!!! I had a very little time before a wear date. Even though the dress still had to be ordered from the designer, it took 2 weeks from the purchase date to the delivery date. They reassured me several times that my dress will arrive on time and it did. I browsed several websites for evening gowns and loved the collection of evening dresses @ missesdressy.com the most. Got lots of compliments about the dress as well as endless inquiries where I bought it. I can't stop speaking favourably of this store. Will buy there again, now it is in my 'bookmark' folder for cocktail/evening dresses!!!
