Missesdressy.com is nothing but a shady operation, one that builds their business on deception and greed. While I totally understand and respect that businesses have a right to establish policies for refunds/exchanges that protect their financial integrity, this company's approach is to dupe and dismiss their consumers with little regard for quality service or customer satisfaction... as long as they can ensure a profit in the end. This company apparently contracts with dress designers/manufacturers and then sells the dresses on their website. When I ordered a dress a couple of weeks ago, I specified and paid for Express Delivery. Though they asked me to provide a "wear date", I thought little of it until I realized that they then use this wear date against you in order to prevent cancellation of the order... tactics designed to force you into keeping the purchase or being stuck with "store credit". A couple of days after placing my order, I saw that this company had no intention of honoring my request for Express Delivery, instead stalling until they could finally say "Oh well, sorry... too late. We're keeping your money whether you like it or not, as long as you have the dress by the wear date". This practice is outrageous, unethical, and most of all illogical, especially for purchases that do not involve custom designs or alterations. If I do business with company more than once, it is because I come back as a satisfied customer, not because rude, arrogant salespeople are only worried about filling their pockets on poor quality, overpriced, garbage merchandise.

I ordered this dress in a pinch because my fiance and I decided to just get married in the courthouse and have a real wedding next year. I was looking for a cute white dress to wear and ordered one from missesdressy and also ordered 2 day shipping (this was a Sunday evening). After making the order, I checked reviews and it didn't look good but I tried to give them a chance. I "live chatted" Wednesday because I still hadn't received a shipping confirmation number, yet my card had beed charged (They tell you, they don't charge your card until your order has shipped. lie). Once I started chatting with someone from the site, they told me my order would be shipped out Friday. It was, and got here today (tuesday). I thought ordering two day shipping meant I would recieve the item within two or three days as I have shopped numerous times online. This isn't the case with missessdressy. It will ship in 2 days ONCE they get off their a#$es, drag it off the shelf, place it in a box, and ship it which obviously takes several days. Not only that but I got my order today and it was a bit to small. Called missessdressy to see what I could do since my wedding is in one week and they said I would have to send it back and they would have to recieve it before they would send the next size up. This won't work for me because time won't allow it so I asked if I could order and buy the new size and return the old one and they said no because I would only get store credit......not my money back if I did a return. Horrible if you ask me. I'm never buying anything from them ever again.

Long story short I have the item I ordered and it's better quality than expected. The dates displayed on the site were a little confusing and changed for every size so I ended up ordering a size up to get the dress faster. Phone support was good though.

I haven't actually bought any closes from missesdressy.com yet but from what iv'e seen they are really nice and the website is easy to understand ans use.

I ordered my wedding dress from missesdressy.com and it arrived in 7 days (I live in Greece)!!! It fitted perfectly and everyone (including me) loved it. It cost me 250€ and everyone thought I spent at least 1000$ on that dress.

Having read the terrible reviews after placing my order I went into a bit of a panic and as a result my expectations were low. However I am pleased to report that my dress arrived earlier than quoted and I am very pleased with the quality and sizing, it fits perfectly.So they do get it right sometimes and I will definitely order from them again. Just a couple of things to be aware of - if the dress is not available from stock it can take 6-8 weeks for delivery, but they take full payment straight away, which it does tell you in the very small print. Also I wouldn't waste money trying to call them as it is very difficult to get through, email worked much better for me, also make sure you measure yourself accurately, as it will prove time consuming and costly to return items. With this in mind, happy shopping.

I got sent a dress that was the wrong size. It had the manufacturers size on it, which was NOT the size I ordered, then someone put another label with a different size next to that label. I have many dresses from this brand in my size, which I know is small, and I also know what the manufacturers size label looks like. So they sent me a medium and they labeled it a small. When I emailed them to ask for the correct size, they informed me of their return policy of $40 "shipping" for the first dress and additional fees for additional dresses. they also only gave me 3 days from date of receipt to return the dress and it was a holiday weekend! I emailed them back expressing my dissatisfaction and got no further response. this company has terrible customer service and ridiculous return polices, especially when in this case it was their mistake! I will never use this site again

I went to the website it says the dress is available I go on their live chat they assure me yes they have it in stock in inventory BEWARE they actually DO NOT have inventory as they say on their site !!! I get an email several days later after the shipping time that is has not only not shipped but they cannot even get the dress!!!! They won’t refund my money!!!!! Obviously I would never order anything from them again I just want my money back they won’t do it . I hold for almost an hour to get disconnected. To top it all off if you go to the website they still show the very same dress available ready to ship with in 5 days go on chat and ask them same thing their agents will tell you the dress is available to ship!!! WARNING DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SITE THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF!!!!

They sent me an ugly dress, customer service is so rude, took $40 fees for exchange, and they wont refund money! I wish they close this company soon.

My fiancé purchased a wedding dress after being assured that the correct size was in stock. The dress arrived 3 sizes smaller than advertised. We had this verified by two professional tailors. After calling for days on end, holding for 20 minutes at a time, being repeatedly disconnected, and promises of a "call from management" that never arrived, we are incredibly disappointed. Misses Dressy does not have the dress in the advertised size, the designer has discontinued production, and Misses Dressy refuses to even consider refunding the nearly $700 dollars they have stolen from us. We have submitted our complaint to the Office of the Attorney General. The reviews are spot on...you will be ripped off if you trust these people with your credit card number. If you carefully read their responses to complaints below, you will get a sense of what to expect...canned responses full of illogical statements that ignore your concerns.

i saw a dress about 2 months ago on the website and instantly fell in love. i carried on looking for another one because it was a bit pricey. i looked at the reviews before i ordered it and was very worried as most of them are bad. i finally ordered my dress last tuesday after talking on a chat room with a worker at missesdressy who was a great help and answered all the questions me and my dad needed to know. the dress came the following friday (3 days after being ordered!) and it fits perfectly and its an amazing dress! i can't wait for my school prom now!

We had to order a prom dress last minute due to another retailer totally messing up my daughters dress. We had only 11 days until the prom. We ordered online from missesdressy.com. I live chatted with their customer service before I ordered, and numerous times after I ordered. I stressed to them that I needed to be guaranteed that the dress would arrive in time for alterations to be done. They assured me that it would and true to their word the dress came 1 day earlier then I even expected. Thank you missesdressy.com for saving my daughter's senior prom. Most people only review companies when they have bad experiences. I wanted to give credit to a company that came through for us when we needed them most.

I was really concerned after I ordered and read the reviews here however we received the dress we ordered in 4 days in perfect condition- the service reps were kind and helpful- mind you we live in Guam- I would order from them again

I ordered a IVORY dress it came in a blue color, I called waiting for 40 minutes to get through to talk to a lady who was rude and incompetent that they call the 'supervisor'. She told me it was not their fault and I would have to pay a total of 160 dollars to get the ivory dress I loved. That price is completely ridiculous, I could buy another dress with the money they are scamming me just to fix THEIR mistake. I originally hated ordering online, I am NEVER ordering online again. HORRIBLE service. Not to mention I never got the free silicone bra, absolutely horrible, thanks to them I will not have the prom dress I dreamed of, let alone go to prom at all.

Buyer BEWARE!! If only I had read the reviews for Misses Dressy. I truly can not believe a business can remain open with such low customer satisfaction. I ordered a very expensive dress for my daughter January 19, 2012 for her Senior Prom in May 2012. After a month of waiting I called customer service (put on hold for at least 30 minutes, not exagerating) finally speaking to a foreiner who could barely speak English, she assured me I would ship in a couple of weeks and I would get a confirmation email once shipped..this never happened. I was never told or saw when placing my order how long it would take to get this dress. My credit card was immediately charged after ordering the dress. I made many phone calls, most I hung up after being put on hold for 45 minutes..never getting an answer..It was crazy!! I tried phone calls/emails nothing worked. One time I did get through, in March, and asked if I could get a refund. They said no refunds..which is crazy since I hadn't even got the dress, nor had they. After just about giving up, I got an email message from someone in Wahington, (I live in Texas) stating they received my dress in the mail! Yes, Misses Dressy mailed my dress to someone else! Fortunatey there are still some honest, good people in this world. She told me of her nightmare experience with Misses Dressy as well. Anyway, she mailed me the dress and I paid her back in postage $20. While originally ordering this dress, they had a speicial free gift, a silicone bra. When I finally received the dress, there was no bra, it had been marked off the packing slip. They said they no longer have these bras, but they are giving me a store credit of $20, yipee! I seriously am going to voice a complaint to the BBB. This place should be permanently be shut down!!

Ordered a dress, told it would be shipped in 7 to 9 business days (5 weeks later still has not arrived), told my credit card would not be charged (it was charged the very next day), sent emails/made phone calls/got on live chat and received the same canned messages over and over. Today was the date given for the event and last night, after repeated unanswered emails, I received an email telling me that my dress would not be arriving and they would credit my account in the next 30 days. I sincerely wish I has searched reviews prior to my order! Do not order from this site. Find a reputable formal wear store and order through them.

My friends and I made almost a thousand dollar purchase. Two months went by and after calling numerous times and waiting for at least 40 minutes to get through to someone and having the supervisor ([name removed]) hang up on us only because we were being concerned customers, still no dresses! This company is difficult to reach. They are very unprofessional and give you the run around at all times. Stay away! They are rude and are quick to withdraw your money but not at all quick to give you any reasonable answers. After two months and STILL NO EXPECTED delivery dates we all filed a claim with our banks, wrote reviews to help others before making a choice to buy from Misses Dressy, and filed other complaints. They cannot get away with this SCAM for much longer!

So I ordered by dress about 5 days ago, and it was only after ordering that I read the reviews..and I promised myself that if all went well, I'd say something nice. The dress arrived today which is super quick considering I live in Dubai. It is a dress by alyce claudine and absolutely gorgeous. It was a little bit big up top and very long but if anything that is a good thing coz it can be altered by my height and heels rather than it being too short and me freaking out. I'd give it 5 stars but I didn't receive my free silicone bra. Not sure why as yet..probably taken at the airport though so I wouldn't be quick to blame misses dressy. You know how Dubai can be... Over all I am very very pleased and I hope more people have as good of an experience as I have.

This Company is a joke!! They have an awesome photographer though!! The dress came on Friday called Monday to return. Dress looks so cheap supposed to be red and its more like tomato and now it isn't returnable!! I have a $500. dress that no one wants to wear!!! Please Do Not Order from them...They do not care about their customers!! Don't be one!! I wish I would have checked them out first!!! Pretty expensive lesson

I ordered my dress Monday evening and I just received it in the mail. It fits perfectly and I would highly recommend ordering from missesdressy.com. I was very skeptical at first when I saw all the reviews after ordering my dress, but now I do believe that people who are actually satisified with their service don't take the time to post.
