Sadly, Blue Flame has let me down several times during my experience of ordering a boiler with them. I initially chose this company because they were the first to come back with a quotation and offered me an unbeatable price and service, promising to have the boiler fitted within two days. This was really important as there is a disabled and vulnerable adult in the home and she was without heating and hot water during February. The first disappointment occurred when they forgot to book in the Thursday morning slot which they promised when I initially enquired, and then it was taken by another customer. Because of this, we were told that we had to wait until Sunday at the earliest to have the boiler fitted. This meant 6 days without heating and hot water. If I had known that this would have been the case from the start, I would have found another provider and ordered through them. Richard was polite and apologetic. The second disappointment was when the gas engineer arrived Sunday to fit the new boiler; he had brought the wrong boiler with him and as a result, left the house again without heating or hot water for another day. Eventually, once the boiler was fitted, the only way to get hot water was to put the heating on full blast, which was far from ideal. The hot water and heating did not work independently. On contacting the engineer who fitted the boiler, who I understand is contracted by Blue Flame, we were told that it wasn't his problem and that the problem was isolated to the boiler and was a valve elsewhere. I politely asked the engineer to explain to me how he could know this for certain without an inspection; he ignored my message and I heard no more from him. I contacted Blue Flame, who offered to send someone else in to investigate but told me that if the boiler wasn't the problem, we would have to pay the engineer and there would be an initial £125 call out. Blue Flame were unable to offer an appointment after school hours, which is where we work and due to failing to secure a quick appointment that was convenient for said working hours, (and I did not wish to leave a key and allow access without someone being present), I ended up asking an independent engineer to intervene. It is now sorted. The boiler fitter did diagnose the problem incorrectly over the phone because it wasn’t the valve and it was something that could have been found if the fitter would have checked whether the heating and hot water were working independently. The whole experience has been exhausting and could have been easily avoided.

We are very pleased with the boiler, but the lack of communication between the salesman and the engineer was poor. Having explained the problems we were having with the heating system to the salesman, I was assured that the engineer would not leave until my heating system was working and balanced. This did not happen and within four hours of the engineer leaving the central heating was not working. We were then without working central heating for 36 hours. In addition, we were expecting our immersion heater to be replaced, as per the quote, but the engineer knew nothing about this and so had to return to do this too.

From the out set Blue Flame gave an exceptional service, from Ian the salesman to the boiler fitter. Everybody was on time, polite, knowledgeable.

My experience began so well with this company - seemingly nice guys that came to fit and a fast job carried out. I looked past the fact that they left a big pile of red brick debris under the condensing unit outside as I was overall happy at the time. Roll on to coming to actually use the unit and I discovered that the remote control didn’t work and I couldn’t use the unit! I emailed Blue flame but got no reply. Two weeks later I emailed again and received a reply from Tom asking for a photo of the part number of the remote and said he’d take care of getting a replacement out to me. I did this. One month later, nothing had arrived. I emailed again but got no reply. I called and was promised a call back, but none came. I emailed two more times and called three more times in the following weeks, to no email replies and no call replies. Finally, yesterday, I called and politely shared and explained how annoyed I was at the lack of customer service and ignorance to my calls, emails and the issue in general. Today, I get a blasé, super casual email from Tom, totally avoiding the fact that i’d been ignored for two months, saying he’ll get another remote sorted in the next seven days and to call him if it doesn’t arrive! What an absolute shambles of customer care and a really arrogant approach to customers who have paid but have a problem. I went on to ebay today, bought a new remote and it’ll arrive tomorrow. To hell with Blue flame, an absolute waste of time company who clearly do not care and show it, very clearly!

The worst decision I ever made in my life is using Blue flame to install Boiler for me. It started well in June 2024 with Adam the salesperson, they ended up putting boiler in the loft as against my initial request of garage. From day 2 of installation until this moment I am not happy with the service provided as it was followed with several complains from myself. They never come through and when the installation finally broke and I informed them about it, they started pushing me around and asked I call manufacturer, they could not even visit to see the problem. Next they bring out 6months warranty clause on their job for a service I paid over £4000 to do and could not even enjoy it for complete 7months. Their operations team speaks arrogantly on phone without any empathy even when I told them I've got little kids and its freezing to death. Mr Mark, your reply does not state the actual experience. There was never a conversation about any pipe leak that I can remember. You asked I talk to Worcester Bosch which I did and they told me the complaint is not on the Boiler but installation and specifically looping. They refer me back to you but your response was warranty expiration, so no need to change the narratives. I added pressure just the way your installers showed me with a black mark limit and I informed you one of the black tap is broken hence I could not pressure the boiler. What about putting the Boiler in loft instead of my choice location?, why did you not acknowledge or reply my last email to yourself ?, that shows you never cared. To set the record straight, nobody has worked or torched the boiler because I'm just about to board the loft which I never budgeted but for your decision to put the boiler up there. Hello once again Mr Mark, In as much I don't want to continue this back and forth with yourself, the report from your notes are untrue because I never said the pressure is not going above 2, I told them I did not take it above the marked 2. I called your office more than 6 times within 9 working days and nothing was said about what you could do to help fix or advise on repair of the failing loop. I emphasised the problem is inability to add pressure because one of the black tap was broken, where I expected you to advise me on what to do but your concern has been warranty expiration as your office finally sent me the "terms and conditions" in an email to buttress your stand. Stop changing the narratives please and focus on my complaint of lacking empathy. I love to move on but my experience with your organisation has been nothing to write home about.

I wanted to change boiler because it was old but working well. So got Blue Flame Energy through Boiler Guide. Salesman came and was very friendly and reassuring to me as usual and decided to go with them. Firstly, I was told that someone from company will come at 8 am to install the boiler and till 10 am no one came and when I called to enquire, I was told by the call centre that she doesn't know about this. She would enquire and let me know. No body called me back but someone (third party subcontractor) came at about 10:30am and told me that he is here for boiler. He installed the boiler within few hours and left room uncleaned and external wall damaged. He didn't give any hand over and briefing. He removed tiles from the wall even without informing, while during survey I was assured by the salesman and surveyor that no tiles needs to be removed. He didn't fix the Carbon Monoxide alarm rather told me that I can keep it anywhere which I think was very dangerous and unprofessional. Two radiators were not running after installation of boiler and boiler installer told me that they will start working after few hours. Still not working and we have to suffer in cold despite installing new boiler and spending money on it. I have called at least 3 times and contacted them through their website contact "How we can help". I was told that someone will come and repair the damaged wall (needs replacing the damaged bricks) and look at the radiators those are not working. Till date no body has contacted and still waiting 2 months now. I have never come across such an irresponsible and unprofessional company till now who does not look after customers after taking money. I will give them minus stars but there is no option for this and never recommend this company

Excellent company to deal with, from the representative attending my home to the gas engineer who replaced the boiler everything was superb . No hard sell and the representative who provided the quote was extremely thorough in his inspections. Easy to deal with and very informative, knowledgable. The gas engineer was excellent, very respectful of our home and very industrious. The cleanliness of his working was superb, no mess at all and everything went smoothly. If you are looking for any central heating work you will definitely not go wrong using these. We are extremely pleased with the product they supplied/ fitted and customer service they provided from commenced to completion .

Leigh arrived early, very friendly and very helpful, old system removed and new boiler and pipe work installed in the same day. Highly recommend.

Blue Flame fitted our Worcester Boiler. They offered the most inexpensive deal with excellent service. Despite unexpected problems with our corroded Stop Valves, they resolved them, fitting new cistern ball valve to the hot water header tank and paid for the minor water damage to a door and ceiling. The MD/Owner Tom monitoring progress throughout. They could not have been more helpful. I thoroughly recommend them.

Made the mistake of enquiring on a comparison site and this company has not stopped bombarding us with texts and emails, nearly every day - even on Xmas Day and Boxing Day. Hounding to the degree of harassment. No "unsusbscribe" button either

Very pleased with the professional approach by Blue Flame Energy Solutions ,from the first introductions and detailing there installation procedures ,explaining in details there boiler systems ,to the work being carried out without any major inconvenience ,clean and completed within the day ,and vast improvement on our new boiler ,office ,communicated before and after the completion ,thank you
